Apparently because we didn't call them to cancel (even though their letters said if we didn't renew by a certain date we'd no longer have their insurance) they have sent a debt collector after us, relentlessly. They are demanding we pay a bill for services we NEVER had since we now have Nationwide. Apparently they are the only insurance company that does that "so that our clients don't go without insurance." Of course, no one ever called us from Erie with their "concerns." I bet thousands of people pay the bill or settle with the debt collector just to get them off their backs. Illegal, unethical and terrible.
