However, we never got a chance to because the saleswoman was so extremely rude that we were turned off and left the store. We never got a chance to get her name but she seemed to be the only person in the front of the store. First of all, she never put her phone away or got up from the spot that she was sitting. She never came to assist us. She continued to speak to us from across the store, as we shopped, even when we were browsing in the back of store. The last straw was when she snapped at my wife and then at me, when we were looking at the Rimowa luggage. If she would have given us anything remotely close to good customer service then she wouldn't have had to snap at us about how "delicate" the luggage was. So we just left the store and went straight to the Tumi store. Maybe when we're back at The Galleria, we'll stop in and get her name so maybe she can go through further customer service training. As a business owner, I understand it's hard to deal with employees constantly on their phones during work hours, but I would hope that they would drop everything as soon as a customer comes in.

Personal side first, I was undecided on the option of The Carry-On or The Bigger Carry-On. I decided on The Carry-On because it passed the carry on dimension requirements for most regional/international flights and less fuss about checking your bag at the gate. Fast forward to 2025 and low and behold airlines changed the carry on dimension allowances so beware of the baggage fees. During the use of The Carry-On what stood out to me the most was the removable battery pack, TSA lock compliancy and the ability to navigate on four wheels while walking through the aisle of a plane. I know I have gained a few lbs but those aisle have gotten narrower! Your luggage is going to get beat up going from workers, to luggage trucks then conveyer belts to you, but the only battle scars my luggage have are a few scuffs in the plastic and some black marks that were removed with the enclosed cleaning product or Sal Suds and some elbow grease. I am so pleased with the product, I double downed and added a new team member. I was debating on The Medium or The Large for an upcoming week long trip. I originally went with The Medium but Bree showed me the option of The Large and The Trunk (think half The Medium, half The Bigger Carry-On) and I was stuck, but after careful deliberation I went with The Large because I can still pack minimal and if I purchase something while traveling I do not have to worry about how and I going to get the items back home. Now do not get me wrong, The Medium is ideal, but I want a bit more cushion for packing, plus I can fit outfits for the snowy regions and some gear. Now for my fellow Travelers I have met along the way, most have not had any issues with their luggage, but the few who did have issues, was with the Flex versions due to over packing. They informed me that some of the stitching did not hold well, but in my humble opinion, the FLEX versions are a good option if you have that last minute item you want to pack not stuff to capacity. (Just my two cents). Anyway, you can get the Flex versions on SALE at the moment. There are many luggage sets you can choose from at various price points but if you do a cost benefit analysis of your specific travelling journey, would you rather equipment that is going to last years and a brand that stand behind their product or something that ok for a couple of years, then you have replace broken parts at the most inopportune time?

To be…read morehonest, I think it has really gone downhill over the years, selection-wise and organization-wise. Nowadays, when I walk in, the sunglasses (a favorite purchase of mine) are nowhere to be found. I liked the sunglasses display when it was placed against the wall and it was easier to see the entire selection. Then, the sunglasses were moved to a vertical spinning display. And now, where exactly are the sunglasses?? Considering the fact I am also an accessories person, I found myself asking what's the deal with the wallet section? What happened to all the cool choices? Although I did like a couple of Anne Klein and Juicy Couture wallets, which I purchased recently, the other wallets were unremarkable and not on the level of past wallet options at this location. I do like the section with beauty items and soaps, but sometimes I've found the makeup is sometimes damaged by people who are eager to try the products. Clothing-wise, I think this location has been a disappointment lately, so I no longer care about looking for clothes here. So, what does that leave? The housewares section here is basic, but it is still possible to find something good - like picture frames, for example. And when you check out, sometimes the cashiers are really friendly and sometimes, you get a weird person with a subpar customer service disposition. I asked one cashier a question recently, and she answered. But she didn't answer my next question, and when I asked the same exact question again, she got an attitude. No Thank you! Improve this location, TJ Maxx folks, or I will be heading straight to Lazybrook/Timbergrove to visit the other TJ Maxx.
