We hired Doru and his team at Eagle Remodel and Construction for a complete, down-to-the-studs…read moreremodel of our master bathroom, and we couldn't be happier with the result. This was my first time hiring a contractor. I had previously acted as the general contractor for our other two bathrooms, and my husband and I did those remodels ourselves, so I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted--and also plenty of lessons to learn along the way! One of the biggest advantages of working with Doru was his pricing. His quote was extremely competitive compared with other contractors in the area, some of whom quoted us 2-3 times more. We did have to manage purchasing our own cabinets, tub, tile, lighting, fixtures, etc., but that gave us the flexibility to shop at our preferred stores and save money. **A couple of lessons I learned:** Make sure you have all of your materials onsite before construction starts. There were a few times we were waiting for items I had ordered, which slowed things down. Had I used some of Doru's preferred suppliers, that probably wouldn't have happened. Also, if possible, I recommend having someone home during construction. I couldn't be home because of work, but my husband was, and that worked out well. Doru was consistently on time--sometimes even early--which is rare in the construction industry. He's also incredibly versatile and was able to handle a variety of jobs himself, including light electrical work such as changing light types and wiring and installing/replacing electrical outlets. The only time he brought in an electrician was for our heated floors because they required additional breakers in our electrical panel. And by the way, **I highly recommend heated bathroom floors!** They aren't hot; they're just comfortably warm/room temperature, which means no more freezing feet first thing in the morning. The project started with demolition, which Doru completed in just **one day**. From there, he handled the framing and coordinated his regular team of skilled subcontractors. One thing I appreciated about Doru is that he genuinely wants you to be happy with the final product. He doesn't try to push his own design preferences on you. When I asked for his opinion, he would explain the pros and cons of different options, but ultimately left the decision to me. I changed my mind a couple of times during the project--including the ceiling lighting and tub surround--and even though those changes created additional work, he made the requested changes without charging us extra. His team was excellent as well. Emmanuel, his tile professional, did an incredible job and really made the bathroom come together. He also installed our cabinets and crown molding, and his attention to detail was impressive. The drywall professional was extremely fast and efficient using Quick Set 5. We did need a second trip because of some ceiling corrections, but overall the work moved along quickly. Our project took about six weeks from start to finish, although some of that time was due to delays with materials I had selected and our family vacations. Realistically, I think the actual construction could have been completed in around four weeks if everything had been onsite and we hadn't had scheduling interruptions. What really stood out to me was Doru's follow-through. He has checked in with us multiple times since the project was completed to make sure we're still happy with everything. We are! I actually made one poor choice myself when selecting our tub faucet--it takes about 20 minutes to fill our large tub. Doru even offered to come back and replace it once I find a better faucet, which says a lot about the kind of contractor he is. **If you're looking for a highly skilled, dependable contractor at a competitive price, I would absolutely recommend Eagle Remodel and Construction.** I think they're an especially great choice if you're comfortable purchasing your own tile, cabinets, fixtures, lighting, tub, etc. and want more control over your budget and selections. If you're looking for a completely hands-off experience where you walk into a showroom, select everything through the contractor, and have them handle every purchase, a larger remodeling company may be a better fit--but you'll likely pay significantly more for that convenience. For us, Eagle Remodel and Construction was absolutely the right choice. We love our new bathroom and would hire Doru again without hesitation!

The team worked efficiently, skillfully, and ahead of schedule! It seems like Eagle Construction can build anything you ask them to. Doru is someone I can trust. He stayed in close communication throughout the entire process, always taking the time to answer our questions. As someone who pays close attention to detail, I especially appreciated his precision and craftsmanship. I am so glad we went with him, and his pricing was fair. What stood out most was his honesty and thorough approach. We had reached out to several contractors for quotes, but Doru was the only one who took the time to measure our space accurately and fully understand what we wanted. He never pressured us into additional work and instead offered thoughtful guidance and expert recommendations. Despite working quickly, the final result was of quality and what we envisioned. I would absolutely hire Eagle Remodel again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, detail-oriented work, and people you can trust.

Drew, Alex, and Kate were all outstanding from start to finish. They were fair, clear, and upfront about scope, timeline, and budget from the very first walkthrough. No surprises, no hidden costs, no vague answers. When we asked detailed questions about framing, tile installation, and material compatibility, they answered with confidence and honesty -- including telling us when something wouldn't work or wasn't worth the spend. That kind of transparency is rare. The design documentation alone set them apart. Kate put together detailed material specifications, as-built plans, new floor plans, tile wall elevations, and full-color mood boards before a single tile was laid. Everything was organized, professional, and gave us complete clarity on what the finished rooms would look like. It made decision-making so much easier and eliminated the anxiety that comes with a major renovation. What impressed us most was how collaborative the entire process felt. Drew and Alex weren't just executing a plan -- they were thinking alongside us, offering suggestions that elevated the design, flagging potential issues before they became problems, and making sure every detail was right. They treated our home with respect and our vision with care. I did EXTENSIVE research before hiring Eastside Kitchen & Bath. They exceeded expectations. No crazy/scary remodel stories you hear -- if you have an older home in Seattle and want a team that understands the character of these houses while delivering a high-quality result -- Eastside Kitchen & Bath is who you want. We couldn't recommend Drew, Alex, Kate and the entire crew more highly.

I don't remember who I spoke to but I do remember that he said I would likely not choose them because they wouldn't be the cheapest. I don't know how or why he came to that conclusion in our brief phone conversation, but I told him I wasn't looking for the "cheapest", I was looking for the best solution. He scheduled a visit and did some measurements and we discussed possible options. I also let him know I was interested in kitchen redesign so that I could have a bigger fridge but he didn't seem interested and just went back to the powder room. When he was done, he said it would take about two weeks for a quote but I may need to reach out to him again. I asked if he had a card and he said no, then left. That was on June 11 and now it's July 28. If a business wants my business, they would send a quote. Maybe my little job isn't worth their time because business is booming, who knows. When your gut tells you they aren't interested, listen to your gut.

While other siding company estimators tried to apply time pressure to decisions and were very "salesy" in nature, Ryan felt very transparent, answered the questions I had, and worked on my time. Pricing was competitive, and scheduling ended up being pretty straighforward, with my project starting a week before original projections. The crew assigned to my project was Jose and Ismael Fernandez; from the moment they set foot on the project site these guys were respectful, courteous, and professional. At each step during the project they checked in with me on project status, and ensured I was happy with the work/results. They answered all my (somewhat basic) questions, and were very customer focused throughout the project. Their attention to detail and overall quality of work was really appreciated and made the whole residing experience much more enjoyable. I would definitely request them again should I ever be looking to reside another house in the area. The project manager Alejandro was similarly very customer focused, easy to get ahold of with questions, and worked to ensure I was pleased with results at each phase of the project. Overall I was very pleased with the end result of my residing project, and would recommend anyone in the market for residing work to strongly consider SidePro. They are professional at each stage of the project, and really do care about customer experience and satisfaction with the end product.

They were happy to fix a few things they missed but basically turned a few of their mistakes into my problem and that has resulted in a fairly substantial bill on our end. They accidentally threw away our instahot and I was asked "well what do you want to do about it?" Umm, replace it? There were hundreds of dollars worth of cleaning dollars on our contract and we showed up to a dirty house with pencil marks all over the place and no reduction of cost. To which the guys who did not see it first hand assured me that "it was clean". There was a freezer on site with hundreds of dollars worth of food in it and they were told upon original walk throughs but when we got back to rotten meat bc they turned the power off, I was told it wasn't noted in the contract and that "we'll figure it out" welp, they took my final check and I expect that'll be the last I hear from them. Also you can see our "color matched" paint job outback. Had they simply OFFERED to concede some dollars on these issues, I'd be far happier, but apparently if it's not in the contract, they don't feel obligated. If you have a small job, I do recommend them but I'd be weary about a long term commitment after this.
