BYOB!
Darlene W.

Such a fun experience! We were in town for a powerlifting competition. Marcello's was next to our hotel and we wanted pizza, so we thought we'd give it a try. We were welcomed immediately by smiling faces. I noted they had bottled beer, but since I don't like beer I asked if they served wine. The manager told me no only beer, but I could bring my own bottle. Maybe I don't get out much, but I had never heard of a restaurant having BYOB! After getting directions to the nearest liquor store and procurring a nice bottle of wine, we returned to meet our party. We ordered a large pizza with 1/2 buffalo chicken and 1/2 all meat. We also ordered a medium Hawaiian pizza. All three kinds were delicious and piping hot. The crust was thin with a slight crunch, soft yet pliable enough to fold the large pieces in half if desired. Both pizzas had substantial toppings covering the thinly spread sauce. The ham on the meat and Hawaiian was cut into large thin slices--so good! The Hawaiian had just the right ratio of meat and pineapple. The chicken buffalo was perfectly spicy without being over powering. The all meat was just like a meat lover likes--lots of flavorful meat. The atmosphere was relaxed and casual. Plastic silverware was available presumably for takeout as we were given regular silverware. You could order pizza by the slice that were ready to go or from the menu. They There were also sandwiches and other choices on the menu. Thanks for a fun evening!

We recently moved to the area and I am obsessed with the buffalo chicken pizza. It's the perfect pizza. The wings are also amazing!

Whether it's the NFL Sunday Ticket, March Madness, or local Penn State games, the atmosphere is loud, proud, and electric. Arooga's built its reputation on its wings, which have consistently taken home top honors at the Buffalo Wing Festival (winning titles like "America's Next Top Restaurant Franchise" and multiple "Simply the Best" awards from Harrisburg Magazine). You can choose between: Original: Bone-in, extra-large, and crispy. Boneless: Hand-breaded and never frozen. Guiltless: Un-breaded and baked for a lower-calorie option. The real star of the show is the selection of over 30 proprietary sauces and rubs. They range from the beginner-friendly to the "I-need-a-glass-of-milk" level. Highlights include: Signature Favorites: Almost Everything (a cult classic), Kangarooga, and Coal Cracker. Sweet & Savory: Hickory Smoked Honey BBQ and Mango Habanero. Extreme Heat: Sudden Death and the infamous Ghost Face Killa. While the wings get the trophies, the strombolis (or "Bolis") are a sleeper hit on the menu. The Original Boli: A hefty blend of ham, Genoa salami, mozzarella, provolone, and--uniquely--mustard, served with a side of marinara. Buffalo Chicken Boli: Stuffed with their signature buffalo chicken dip and mozzarella, it's a massive, gooey meal that's perfect for sharing (or not). Since it first opened in 2008 (starting in Harrisburg before expanding to York), Arooga's has mastered the formula of "better-than-average" bar food. It's a Certified Green Restaurant, so you can feel a little better about that mountain of wings. If you want a quiet intimate dinner, keep driving--but if you want a beer flight, 40 different sauce options, and every game on at once, this is your spot.

Service is really good. We came over here on an after wedding celebration and they had saved many tables for us to addd to the merriment. Superb ambiance, festive, young, sporty.

All 4 of my friends chose the lasagne , some with, some without extra sauce. Excellent food, generous portions and wonderful service by the incredible Sandy. I ordered eggplant parmigiana to take home for the husband. It is his favorite. He shares so I can tell you that you could taste the quality olive oil in this dish. Superb! I was glad to introduce some friends who hadn't been here before to Marino's. We will be back!

My daughter got spaghetti and meatballs. Her spaghetti looked like the pasta water wasn't drained at all. Spaghetti and sauce just sitting on top of water. She said the meatballs were very delicious though. I got the lasagna with a bowl of Italian Wedding soup. My meal and soup were perfect, I just wish the soup portion wasn't so small. About 4 spoonfuls and it was gone. The portions of our meals though fit the hefty price. We each took our leftovers home and still had enough for almost 2 whole meals each. Our meals came with probably the worst garlic bread I've ever had. First it didn't come out until about 10 minutes into our meal and when it did it was basically hard stale bread. Other than a few green specs I wouldn't have been able to tell you it was garlic bread. Still not sure if was.
