A few weeks ago, Amici showed up on social media for me and I wasn't sure where it was. Fast forward to today when I went grocery shopping and realized it was right across the street from where I was! I opened their website and ordered the pizzaboli online, to be picked up in about 25 mins. I received notification that the food was ready right as I was getting in my car to head over. I am a pizza snob and truthfully, boil isn't my favorite. This however made my whole night! The sauce, the meats, the never ending cheese? Perfection. The moment I opened the lid, I knew I had made the right decision--it was massive, drool-worthy, and everything I hoped it would be. One bite in and I was in food-vana. The meat-to-cheesy-sauce ratio was perfect, the roll was dense and chewy with just the right crisp on the outside, and it held everything together beautifully. No soggy mess, no flimsy bread--just pure cheesesteak glory. Honestly, it really did taste like a million bucks. We paired it with bacon cheese fries for the ultimate heart-stopping combo, and together it made the perfect carb-loaded, finger-licking, "oh my God this is good" kind of dinner. The total was $27.18 with tip--not cheap for cheesesteak and fries, but definitely not robbery given the quality and portions. Does advertising work? Yes, it does. These guys kept popping up on all my media, and as a Cheesesteak fanatic I had to try there Million dollar cheesesteak. It was very, very good and I will go back. As I was walking out the dudes at the other table had wings and they looked really good. Amichi's was recommended to me by a friend's grandma, so I wasn't expecting to stumble into one of the best cheesesteaks I've ever had. I wouldn't call myself a cheesesteak snob, but I've had Pat's and Gino's and other spots in Philly and yes, I know Philly locals will say they're more famous than great. Amichi's completely outclasses anything I got in Philly, and we're only about a hundred miles away. Idd say Harrisburg Star City is the capital and the capital for cheesesteaks, Amici's puts the pike on the map. Not only that they got a really great staff and mom and pop shop vibes. Omg! So I've been seeing the videos from Vinny, the owner of Amici's., about how great their cheesesteaks and pizza. SO...today we went for the first time and got the million dollar cheesesteak and a pizza! Our minds were blown! My husband said the cheesesteak was as close to perfection as you could get! And the pizza! Wow. Real everything and from the first bite we were hooked. Best pizza we have ever had! We've passed by this place multiple times but have never stopped in to eat. I can't believe it's taken us this long to try it! The menu is pretty extensive and reasonably priced. The owner, Vinny, took our order and brought out the food since we were dining in. He is super friendly and offered great suggestions! We tried the pizza bites and Mac and cheese bites as an appetizer. The mac and cheese bites we actually creamy, and not super dry like they usually are at other places. So good! The pizza bites were great and a huge portion. Loved the cheese pull on those. We decided to try a pizza boli and got sausage added to the pizza. The boli and the meats inside of it were awesome. Their sauce is great and we loved the dough. The subs now come in large sizes and are HUGE. The "bread" is actually pizza dough and tasted amazing. Their menu has has a nice selection of subs and pizza . They even offer wings. About the only thing they don't offer is dinner platters. Wednesday night is currently wing night. They are currently.75 each. They are average size. And have average sauces available, the nice thing you can get them Togo. They are Frozen, not fresh, but prepare nicely sodas are expensive for the size. But you can get refills. Service was great and friendly.. and the place looks clean. Based on this experience and other reviews I have read I plan on coming back and try more than wings. I see coupons in different mailers. So I look forward on trying something new. read more

We absolutely love this place. We have been eating here for years and it continues to be a wonderful experience each time. The pizza, the subs, bolis, salads, cheese curds, wings...all of it...so good! The Million dollar sub has become one of my favs. It's so filling that most times I can't finish it and I save the half for the next day. I like to add mayo and mushrooms, yum. Let me tell you, the sesame roll...takes it to another level. We tried the blessed pizza last night for the first time, it was soooo good. We also ordered a chicken Caesar salad and chef salad and they were just the right portion and delicious. This family owned business is a great one and we love supporting local businesses. Excellent pizza and great service. We tried a medium pepperoni pizza, mozzarella sticks, and fried pickles. The pizza was perfectly cooked with a thin New York-style crust. Just the right amount of cheese and pepperoni. The mozzarella sticks were delicious, as were the fried pickles. We paid around $30 for the entire meal. The employees were very friendly and greeted us with a smile as we entered. Great to support a family-owned business that supports our troops and lives their Catholic faith. I am not from the area and needed to cater an event for team outing. I chose Amici's based on their reviews and I couldn't be happier. Vinnie was an absolute pleasure to work with. We stayed in contact and he was extremely accommodating when I needed to make adjustments (multiple times) due to my number of attendees fluctuating. The food was great! We ordered pizza, chicken fingers, fries, breadsticks, Caesar salad, baked ziti, eggplant parm, sausage and peppers and chicken Marsala. Here's the thing. Chicken Marsala is not on the menu. I wanted to have a chicken dish that wasn't red sauce based. He said he would see what he could do and called me back a few hours later and said he could do the Marsala. It was one of the best I've had! So delicious! The sausage and peppers were just like my mom used to make them. He didn't use bell peppers like everyone else does, he used Italian frying peppers. So good!!! I also had to change the time of my event which put it right in the middle of their dinner rush. Vinnie's dad delivered our food right on time and couldn't have been nicer. My all around favorite pizza/subs/boli/wing shop in the county. I have probably ordered here 50 times in past few years and it is always prepared the way I asked, fresh, and delicious, literally have never had something I didn't like from Amici! Some of my favorites: their ham and cheese Stromboli, the pizza with extra cheese/pepperoni/onions, Italian or ham and cheese subs, mozz sticks are great, salads are fresh and crispy, you can't go wrong!! Special pizzas like the white pizza also hit the mark as do veggie. There might be other pizza shops I like for a specific kind of pie (here's looking at you pierogi pizza) but for an all around classic pizza shop that is super consistent, great customer service and competitive price you really can't wrong here. Usually pretty fast too! They do have a few booths to eat in and a tv. You can get chips and 2l and fountain soda as well. read more

the service was good, unfortunately even after I confirmed the order twice when I was standing there, asked for dressing on the side for both salads, both salads had dressing on it. the antipasto the meats were just slices rolled up, instead of diced or smaller slices. the caesar salad with grilled chicken, the chicken was diced into very small cubes versus strips. the subs although large but were they were the cost. the cheesesteak meat was also chopped up which it didn't have to be, the tomato slices of 3 were sliced a little too big. the mushrooms a little offputtong. the turkey sub also needs iimprovement. read more

We grabbed pizza and wings from here last night for the first time. We called and placed our order for pick-up. The employee who answered displayed incredible customer service, he was friendly and efficient and I swore I could hear him smiling through the phone. We went with a medium pepperoni pizza and 12 mild wings. The food was prepared within 20 minutes and everything went smoothly with picking it up. The pizza was the standard New York style pizza that's served in this area, but the dough and other ingredients used were very fresh. The wings were not the best that I have had, as they were a bit hard and kind of dry. Overall this was good food experience and we'll likely order pizza from them again! read more

Nothing to get excited about here. Ordered at lunchtime for an after work pickup to take home to my kids for dinner. Pizza was incredibly cold when i got home which leads me to believe they started the order way in advance. Cold, rubbery pizza is just rubbish. Got some wings too, also not good. Breaded chicken wings are not my favorite to begin with but when the wing is so cold that the breading has turned into mush due to the sauce; it is unappetizing and an a front to your taste buds. They forgot to add the side sauce requested which is my biggest grievance. If you are going to charge extra for sauces, then make sure you add them to the pick up order. Too many places do this and it seems almost intentional. read more

Not sure the sandy my husband got but it was a burger sub with bacon and fries and he absolutely loved it. I think it's his new favorite thing.
