Macarons are such a complex little package of deliciousness!! I absolutely love them and in all the places I have visited and tried macarons, these are the best. The texture is light and crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. The fillings and flavors are amazing!!! The place is small but cute and you can watch them being made right before your eyes. Skip the others and just come here for some of the most wonderful macarons you will ever find!!! My favorite flavor was Tybee Turtle...but didn't have a flavor I didn't love. read more

It seems that everyone is complaining about the price but compared to the cost of my local French bakery, I found the prices to be quite reasonable! Many different varieties, and although not made onsite, I found them to be very fresh and tasty! I especially enjoyed the strawberry covered in chocolate and chocolate ganache! Macaroons were tasty but not made here. Definaltely shipped from somewhere else. No hours of operation on website or on machine when you call. Lady that was working was not very friendly at all and despite the store being extremely small and my family being the only people inside it took her a while to even say hello to us. Not impressed. Small place. It was opened on Sunday even though it said "closed" on Yelp. Macarons were lightly crispy outside, soft and chewy inside.. Fillings are flavorful. My favorites are Tybee Turtle and Key Lime. Green Tea was disappointing since I couldn't taste any green tea flavor in it. Expensive... but macarons are expensive in general. read more

My daughter and I did a macaron taste test. These were SO much better than the competition. The pistachio was as good as the ones I had in Italy! The lemon was so fresh and zesty. The vanilla and chocolate ganache were decadent. You really can't go wrong at Marche de Macarons. read more

First off, the name of the shop is spelled incorrectly. Should be "marché des macarons". Which is symbolic of how "un-french" these macarons are. They were missing staple flavors such as rose and black current. But at least they couldn't butcher those. They were VERY dry, had no "peaks" both likely due to using marshmallow as a cheat to keep the cookie from deflating. I've had a lot of Ladurée, so maybe I'm spoiled, but these aren't worth half the asking price. read more

I've had the macarons at Laduree in Paris and those are the best! Would give it a 4.5 if I could. This quaint little shop in Hilton Head had a surprisingly tasty macaron. My favorite was the vanilla bean while my husband enjoyed the bourbon pecan. The macarons were fresh and the best we have had stateside. read more
