On 5/31/26, a rainy day, I hardly had time to brush my hair and get the money out of my wallet when someone was already knocking my door! An smiling young man quickly opened a bag and handed me two very warm subs. Chicken and Ham...if you have never try them , I urge you to add one of them to your next order. This is not the first time I place an order. Pizza, always, to share with my family, friends and some times my neighbors. ( I owe to Marco's my popularity with these three groups of people as while enjoying the pizza, they always give me a big smile, shake their head or bow as a sign of approval of the delicious different choices. I never hesitate to thank more than once the "order taker" but I have never felt the need to write a review. Today it is the right time to do so. I have enough experience to recognize a person that with the courteous tone of his voice AND enough patience to repeat the ingredients twice, a "thank you" was not enough!!! Marco's has some of the best cheesy bread! The service is typically great. You're greeted as soon as you walk in the door. This time I ordered the hot honey pepperoni, magnifico. It was National Pizza Day so I decided to try Marcos Pizza for a lunchtime carry-out. I opted to use the online ordering platform and my experience was great. I easily picked my crust and toppings, then paid online. I soon arrived at the store to retrieve my pizza. The whole process was convenient and easy. Unfortunately, for me, the let down occurred with the taste of the pizza. I just didn't enjoy the quality of the toppings nor the taste and texture of the crust. Overall, this was one of my least favorite pizzas due to taste and quality. The online process was great. The temperature of the pizza was fine, but I'm not a fan of the taste. Sidenote: I thought it was odd that the place was completely empty during the lunch rush hour despite the menu having a great variety of lunch options. Marco's is all about high quality and customer service, they're awesome! We moved here from Columbus Oh and Marco's is big out there, so we were excited to have one in our new area. We drive 30mins to eat here when we want a little piece if Ohio. No joke, it's that good! This is, hands down, the best chain pizza place in the area (Daytona, Ormond, Port Orange, New Smyrna, Deltona, I mean the WHOLE area). I have no idea why these other comments are so harsh but they're wrong. If you like Papa John's for their higher quality ingredients but want fresh never frozen motz (makes a huge difference), a fluffy crispy crust, and fresher toppings with a handful of crust toppers to chose from, Marco's is it. The pepperoni magnifico is our go-to choice; xl pepperonis with old world tiny pepperonis with a garlic butter & parm crust topper. Their meatballs are delicious too. the OWNER of the store hung up in my face after saying they don't deliver over the bridge. I then called back to place an order for pick up well also explain to him that I used to work for a Marcos and that's not how businesses run and he hung up on me again I called back for a third time and he tells me he's going to block my number and to never call the store again and every time I do call back, he picks up and puts me on hold until I hang up. I've had an amazing experience with every other Marcos. I will never again order from this one in Daytona Beach on international. Looking for dinner for the family after a day of fishing and we stopped by Marcos for the "Big Cheese" pizza and a Chicken Classico calzone. We were greeted by Nasha and Barbara who was being trained. The staff was very friendly, restaurant was super clean (including the bathrooms) and the food was delicious! We will definitely be back for more. The sauce was really good and the cheese is great quality but the crust was what really stood out. Great place! The restaurant is SUPER CLEAN. Staff are very friendly. The owner was on-site and she was amazing -- really dedicated to making sure everyone was enjoying their food. Ordered a pizza to be delivered in one hour to my hotel. After waiting an hour and a half I called to check status. The same guy answered and said I wasn't at the address they tried delivering to. Bottomline, he took the address down wrong, no one called with an update and he then denied that I even placed the order even though he repeated the order back to me both times. Disappointing experience as I now have to wait for another delivery from a different restaurant. I got 10 wings, they were the worse wings I've ever had, they had absolutely no flavor, the ranch was bad, the soda was lean on syrup, the drinks are pricey, the wings were over priced. Marcos is a small chain restaurant. It makes good pizza but wings are the other end of the bargain that always needs to be held up. There's a much better wings in the area like at wing house, wing stop is ok, hooligans is great. My family and I would patronize this Marco's on a very regular basis; it had become our pizza of choice for this area. Like most families today, we also look for value and appreciate their generous coupons. This evening, I was informed that a coupon could not be used if altering the "Founders' Pizza." As we have always done before, we were wanting to eliminate mushrooms due to a food sensitivity. We never ask for additional toppings to replace the mushrooms. It was explained that a corporate decision had been made about this. This review is being written in a competitive pizza restaurant. I saw their coupons online; coupons they happily modified by eliminating mushrooms from our order. My $40.00 has been welcomed by this new vendor. Their pizza is equally delicious. Hopefully, someone from Marco's, maybe the proprietor, will see the foolishness in this corporate decision and the loss of revenue. read more
