Pete and his staff are truly incredible. You can tell they have a genuine passion for their food and, more importantly, that they truly care about the people who walk through their doors. Pete is an absolute gem in this community, and in my opinion, Pete's Pizza is hands-down THE BEST pizza place in Daytona Beach. The breading was perfect, it stayed right where it belonged instead of flaking off everywhere, the cheese was silky smooth, and the cheese pull literally reached across the table. I didn't even take a picture or video because I was too busy trying to devour them! I had the Italian sandwich, and it absolutely hit the spot. I'm already daydreaming about it and planning my next one. My husband ordered a calzone but asked if they could fry it instead and WOW. The crust was fried to perfection, the cheese was just right, and the flavor was seriously top-notch. We didn't even get pizza this time, which honestly made me a little sad.
