They use uber to deliver food, even when you order from thier website. When our $130 order never showed up and we called about it, they said to "call uber". We never agreed to have uber deliver the pizza, why are we on the hook? I guess we will see if we actually get a refund. Theft over $100 is a class b misdemeanor. The worst pizza I've ever had. Tasted like cardboard and cheap canned black olives. Should have been hot, but was barely warm. Toppings were either missing or very scant and nothing was fresh. The Greek salad had brown lettuce, generic dressing in plastic pouches and an over abundance of the same black olives. The feta crumbles were tasteless. I ordered from DoorDash and the only good thing was the Dasher. She earned her tip. DD refunded a little over $3 on a $54 order. That's right- $54 for an a tasteless medium cardboard crust pizza and days old salad. I called DD and after about 4 transfers I was told I'd have to wait at least 24 hrs for an email. We arrived at Marcos after saying no to $5 frozen pizzas at the nearby Target. The sales girl was helpful...she told us what specials were available. We ordered a large pizza for $10 (normally $15), half regular pepperoni, half "Pepperoni Magnifico" (the mini pepperoni). We were told that the pizza would take 15 minutes. After getting a drink at nearby Sonic and waiting another 5 minutes, our pizza was ready. We were happy with the wait time. I noticed another customer who arrived before us and was still waiting told me he had been waiting for his order for 40 minutes. The place seemed a bit disorganized. We took our pizza home, and it was VERY greasy. The taste was good, the sauce and cheese not overly done. The mini pepperonis curled-up into small cups and had a small amount of liquid/grease in each one. The large pepperonis were greasy as well. More grease normally means fatty, cheaper meats. I like that Straw Hat pizza, for example, is not greasy at all. It all depends on what you want. If you want good tasting pizza at a good price, get Marcos. Just lay a couple of paper towels on top and do a flip-over before you consume. read more

I have a confession to make: I had Marco's Pizza for the first time from their 99 location. I gave this location a try by mimicking Jack Butorac's experience. Here is a modified version of my initial review: In 2022, Jack Butorac visited five Marco's Pizza restaurants in Ohio and he was excited by the quality and consistency of the food and customer service that Marco's Pizza had. I can say without hesitation that I agree with Mr. Butorac. This was my second try at Marco's Pizza and this time I opted for delivery. I ordered a large pizza with Old World Pepperoni and Red Onion. I was quoted thirty to forty-five minutes. The pizza was delivered on time! In fact, I got it in twenty-five minutes. The delivery driver, I did not catch her name (She had mentioned it, but I forgot it...she was a young slender lady with reddish hair) was incredibly nice and courteous. Very well spoken and delivered the pizza with a smile. Right, so just like my previous experience, the pizza smelled fresh. That crust...wow! It was slightly crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The sauce was delicious too and I could taste the garlic that went into it. Cheese wasn't overwhelming and was just the right amount. Loved the Old World Pepperoni! It was crispy and spicy - just the way it should be. Marco's has hands down become my go to place for my pizza fix. I love this place. In fact, I ended up ordering four more pizza's that week (from different locations - following Mr. Butorac's discovery). I think Marco's Pizza has a huge potential to become a major competitor in the pizza industry. Love the history of the company, love the quality and love the consistency. read more

We see the Marco's delivery cars on a daily basis so decided to give it a try for the first time today, lunch time on a Saturday. Delivery time not super fast, it arrived lukewarm (definitely *not* hot), lid had been smashed down with cheese adhering to it, and the worst part, it was like the pizza had been held vertically...was completely squished down toward the bottom with half the pizza folded up and cheese and sauce coming off. I love this place. I have never had a bad pizza from here. The crust is always perfectly cooked (unless you pick up and are late to pick it up. Then it sits in the box and the steam from the pizza makes the crust chewy). This is by far the best and the only place in Katy to get pizza. Every restaurant that delivers is not good and the one that does have good pizza is not consistent. It could come as a good pizza or the worse pizza you've ever had. So, Marcos is about 2 minutes from work- they are typically great at getting my pizza to me expeditiously- it's always still bubbling hot when it arrives. The pepperoni magnificent is amazing- traditional and "old world" style pepperoni and some garlic on the crust, there's nothing that beats it! The pizza will cost more than a dominos or papa johns pizza, but it's so much better! Pizza was very good. Waiting a normal amount of time and gentleman who took my order was very nice. I do recommend cutlery be handed out with the plates. I went back to find some and none were in sight and the front was ghost town. Also the bathrooms needed attention today. No hand soap or paper towels and the toilet had seen better days. I sat down and ate there today and behind me were some pretty large spiders that I killed haha. It's TX so I get it but the cobwebs were clearly there for weeks. I went here on a Friday afternoon, about 5 PM. Place was empty. I walked up, no greeting or anything of the sort. Went ahead and ordered a medium cheese pizza and a drink to sit and eat. Not 2 minutes after I sat, a lady with her children came in, and was greeted. Perhaps she was better looking than me, so she was greeted and I wasn't LOL (that was a joke). I was waiting for my pizza for about 20 minutes. I noticed the young woman got her pizza before me, which was strange as she had ordered well after me. I waited a few more moments and went up to ask what was going on. Apparently the servers had given my medium cheese to her, which her children started eating, and I don't blame them, and they hadn't prepared her large hawaiian. How this happened is beyond me, perhaps it was a human mistake, but mixing up a medium plain with a large hawaiian is somewhat strange. After some wrestling for a refund, the cook just said yeah we gave her the wrong one nothing we can do. I am not one to ask for handouts, but perhaps a 10% off your next visit or something of the sort would be nice. Maybe a sorry we messed up. But hey, what do I know? Horrid service. I didn't try the pizza, and likely won't, especially with the service I got on this visit. Take your business elsewhere, you will regret coming here. read more

I called and confirmed my address at the time of ordering and still it goes to another house. I spoke to the manager about it and he said that it was a problem and again confirmed my address but yet they get it wrong. So they said there are 2 addresses under my phone number and they deliver to the other address every time first. WHY?!?!?! This place is unorganized and the customer service is horrible. The guy at the register tells me of a special...then asks me if I want the items that come with the special such as the cheese bread and drink...duh! Then he goes to place the order and realizes he does not have the manager code to enter in the computer for the special advertised. He asks his coworker and he does not have a code either....so why offer a special if your franchises need a manager code...odd! Both are saying they have to call Austin TX to get this code...huh...yea makes no sense. There's a guy at the front who is really struggling to take a phone order when I walk in. (Not a good sign.) When we order it takes three tries to "a meatball sub and a dr.pepper". Not trying to be rude but there is either a language barrier or a hearing disability involved. Based on the other reviews I'm really not sure what goes on here. They have zero customers in the shop and four guys working in the back. And when I asked for 'a cup with ice' for my soda it took two tries. Let's not even talk about the fiasco that ensued when I asked for the wifi password! While waiting for my sub I hear them talking about the pizza they will make for them selves... Not lack of communication there. They made their requests on the first try! Weird. Really weird. Hey my sub came! (No plates offered, sigh.) The bread was warm and crunchy but half of the sub's sauce and meatballs were cold. So, in a nut-shell, it's done to Italian food what McDonalds has done to burgers. Ordered pizza to pick up only because we received a flyer with discounts. The guy that took our order wasn't able to give me a total, gave me some lame excuse. He said it "will be approximately $42..." I gasped- even after applying the discounts? "Oh yeah..." he responds, "it'll be less". Should have known right then and there to cancel. I gave my husband the flyer and off he went to pick up the order, and none of the discounts were applied. Needless to say it was not "less".
