Marco's Pizza, Wickham Park Commons, 3600 North Wickham Road, Melbourne, FL- 1.5-Stars This fast-growing global franchise has 1,100 stores, two of them in Melbourne (the other on Babcock Street). If you think that is a lot, consider that Pizza Hut has over 18,000 locations worldwide (five in the Melbourne area). Founded in 1978 outside of Toledo, Ohio, by Pascale "Pat" Gianmarco, Marco's Pizza states on its website that their fresh-made dough and obsession over details are what separates them from the noise. Professing to "Cut Slices, Not Corners" they brag that were ranked the fastest-growing pizza brand based on year-over-year unit growth, according to a Top 500 U.S. Restaurant Ranking in 2021. Sounds impressive, but the proof of the pizza is in the eating. Jeremy was manning the front of the house. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and even set up the order for the lunch discount, instead of full price. Much appreciated. As a dedicated alliaphage, who loves anything with garlic, I dug in. First, I tried a pizza that was half plain cheese and half ground beef with two types of pepperoni--regular pepperoni and "Old World Pepperoni ®." Then I ordered the Italiano Sub with ham, salami, cheese, banana peppers, tomatoes, onions, and sub dressing. How does Marco's compare to other well-established take-out/delivery pizza chains? I can sum it up easily: Meh. Despite a 2019 Harris Poll EquiTrend Study that claimed Marco's to be the "Most Loved Pizza Brand," I found nothing special about it. If you are committed elsewhere, stick with your go-to. If you get angry with them, try this joint and then go back and forgive your old standby. The Big Boy says, "I just saved you forty dollars and the trouble of trying this place."

Good place for pizza in the Melbourne area. This restaurant is located across Wickham road just south of Eastern Florida State College. It is fairly easy to get to. It is in a strip center facing the road with plenty of parking. There is limited seating inside. The restaurant was clean. The staff was friendly. We ordered online and picked it up at the location. The pizza was good an reasonably priced.

Ordered a excellent pizza for my friends. it came very quickly and hot . Lots of veggies and thin crust not burnt at all . The delivery service was fast and the lady that took my order was friendly and polite which is something you can't always expect. Im giving them a thumbs up..

Maroc's Pizza is a nationally expanding chain. Honestly, they are nothing too special. If you are craving pizza, Marco's will do the trick. They have online ordering and once you pick up your pizza, they give you a coupon for an additional $3 for you next online order. They have indoor dining and delivery service as well. Marco's also runs a bunch of specials online and news print. The pizza was medicore at best. Having been to New York and living in Vegas, I have much higher expectations. This particular store was neat, tidy, and the customer service was friendly. We ordered a salad, but there was no dressing that came on the side, another let down. I don't hate this place, I don't love it, and I wouldn't say I like it. It's okay.

The pizza is good for a chain. The sandwiches are pretty bad. The staff is friendly. The cheese bread is pretty good.

First and foremost, I have to admit that I did not think Slices Pizza would not last long, not…read morebecause of anything to do with their food, but the fact their location has gone through many business changes and Slices Pizza (which I will shorthand to SP for the remainder of the review) was the location's current... well... identity. Maybe the biggest reason why SP, or the location SP is at, is often passed by is how entering and exiting the strip mall is setup. You have to drive all the way to the other end of the strip mall to enter and exit despite SP being on the other end of the strip mall with no entrance/exit of their own. I would have passed SP if it weren't for my church's decision to eat here for lunch after service. Ergo, this is my first time eating here, and I hope it won't be my last. What I got was very good, but compared to other Italian and/or pizzerias, I have to rate them on the high-end of average. As I always say, I compare American pizza to American pizza in accordance to location. If I really wanted to be a stickler, almost ALL American pizza - which includes the BIG3 (New York, Chicago, Detroit) - would be severely lacking compared to traditional Italian pizza that I have eaten from Italy. But as an American slice, what SP serves is on average, but like I said, high-end. I ordered the margherita and caprese pizzas and they were cooked well in their brick-style oven and served conditionally well. However, there are many pizza places that have the same expertise and deliver the same quality. With that in mind, SP is good, but just as good as the "common good" pizzeria. To me, they don't have the standout as Genna or Pizza Gallery. The garlic knots, well, they were good, too. Can't really mess up garlic knots unless you really try to. And to top it off, the restaurant had the overarching themes of a typical New York style Italian restaurant (Italian flags, checkered tableclothes, etc.) and the staff was both helpful and friendly. Restrooms, at least the men's restroom, was clean, too. Ultimately, I would return here if I happen to want pizza and be nearby, but I am not driving out of the way to eat here. Like I said, SP is not bad, but they are a dime a dozen thus far. Maybe my review will update when I try their classic Italian dishes, but as of now, I am simply saying they are good, and if you choose to eat here at least for the pizza, you wouldn't do anything wrong choosing them. If SP's food stands out from other Italian restaurants, then I might consider improving the rating. However, if they remain good on averge across the board, they'll get another star if they are at least consistent.

The cost was an unbelievable $47.00. The receipt showed no breakdown of the costs which were not in line with the costs shown on the online menu. Will not be visiting this restaurant again. The pizza was good, not outstanding. Blaze Pizza is twice as good and half the price.

Hopefully a fluke, worse vegetarian pizza I've ever had. Little to no sauce, temp not even luke warm. Disappointed 1st time customer.

The star pizza was our fave and the burrata! If you've never had burrata you need to. It's basically fresh mozzarella that's been hiding a secret...a rich, buttery, creamy core that melts the second you cut into it. It's heaven! The bread served with the burrata was perfect. It had just enough salt and rosemary. Like how can just a few ingredients seem so complex? Sorry I don't take great pictures but I hope you can tell how tasty things are from looking at them! My nephew did not like the coffee Paulo but I enjoyed the pairing and balance of the sweet and spicy (coffee grounds and hot honey). Elisa was satisfying as well.

The crust had the perfect bite--crispy with just the right chew. The cheese was melted perfectly, the sauce was flavorful, and every bite was delicious. I live about 40 minutes away and I'm already planning when I can go back. They also have infused olive oils you can drizzle over your pizza, which took it to another level. Chef's kiss. I also ordered the Caprese salad, and it was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. It came with a seasoned flatbread that reminded me of naan, and it was honestly addictive. I kept reaching for more because it was that good. Part of me doesn't even want to share this review because I'd love to keep this place a secret, but food this good deserves the praise. If I lived closer, I'd probably eat here every week. Absolutely delicious and definitely worth trying.
