I'm from Louisiana, working in the Tallahassee are and there is not a location near me, but there are plenty of commercials for Marco's Pizza. Today I ordered the New Triple Pepperoni Magnifico Pizza featuring NEW Shredded pepperoni, Classic pepperoni, and Old-World Pepperoni for $11.99 plus tax. This pizza was nothing like the advertisement. I could literally count the pepperonis on this pizza. The pepperoni topping was extremely skimpy considering they are advertising it a triple pepperoni pizza. Based on my experience working in the pizza industry and making handmade pizzas for more than 20 years, Marcos fell SHORT on this one. I was expecting more pepperoni, and I was looking forward to biting into a greasy, heart clogging pizza with mounds on pepperoni. The pizza was hand made using fresh dough, cooked to order, served hot, and the crust was light, fluffy, and tasted very good. I love the parmesan cheese springle on top before serving. I just wish the pizza lived up to its name. The employees were friendly, and the service was quick. I walked in, place my order, and walked out with a hot pizza in less than 15 minutes. I guess my expectations were set to high for Marco's Pizza. Based on my experience, I may give them another try, but order something different. read more

I door dashed my lunch at work so my order is more costly , but when you get the wrong order it stinks. I was looking forward to a calzone and received a pepperoni stick. I admit, I wasn't a fan of Marco's pizza. Both my daughter and I had a bad experience years ago (we both got sick from the pizza) and simply stayed away, until just recently. We had to order something quick and nearby with delivery service for some guys who were doing some work on our house. I called in the order due to issues I had with trying to place the order online. The young man I spoke to was very nice and patient as well. Our pizzas came before the estimated time frame and everyone enjoyed them, plus the cinna squares. I have been going to marcos for a while now and have spent enough money and have sat inside 99% of the time . I normally don't do this but it has to be done . For one , it's the most unprofessional work crew i have ever seen. What's allowed here is NOT allowed at most jobs, for instance, there's many times I've gone in there and they are so RIDICULOUSLY LOUD talking about ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING. I have sat there many times thinking what kind of place is this to talk the way they do in front of customers. The "N"-WORD Is tossed around more than the pizza is typically from the bald head black female and there's a chubby one that's wears a weave or wig it looks like ( they wouldn't give me their names) whose always high and literally has the AUDACITY TO SMOKE A VAPE IN THE MIDDLE OF MAKING YOUR PIZZA. I'VE SEEN IT !!!! They tend to be back and forth from the front counter to the back where they make pizzas , i can tell you for 100% fact they don't wash their hands EVERY SINGLE TIME on top of the fact that they DONT WEAR GLOVES anyway. I know a couple of them don't, I can't speak for the whole but I know they aren't up on it like they are suppose to be especially with the slightly chubby high girl with the weave touching her dirty vape and blowing chemicals all over the place on your food. Julie who is the short little white girl seems nice and upbeat but she has her days and is just as loud and ignorant as the other 2 black girls when she feels like it . She can be a little rude depending on who you are when answering the phone to place an order or make a change to an order. What gets me is my friend and I (white female and black male ) come in there atleast 3 to 4 times a week , sit at the same table and are quiet and don't say anything to ANYONE but for some reason they seem to have some issue with us , idk if it's a race thing or something other underneath it all. Julie has just hung up in my friends face when she called about an order. The other 2 black girls walk extremely close to our table when passing which is a little uncomfortable while we are eating especially when you are picking up "weird vibes from them" 90% of the building is on there phones non stop and I never see them lined up to wash there hands after touching their dirty filthy phones remembering the fact that they dont use gloves anyway , I could go on and on but I'll say this and be done Tonight's issue was on 4/9/2025 around 7 p.m. My friend and I went in and order 2 large pizzas and we tend to order a cinnamon bread afterwards. Upon completion of eating the pizza my friend order the cinnamon bread online and went to the counter to make an adjustment since you cant edit the order the way we needed to online. Mind you , this is the same thing we do EVERYTIME. The bald-headed semi-short black female passed on the information to the slightly chubby girl that wears the weave it looks like and told her the adjustment that needed to be made to the cinnamon bread which was to pull it a few seconds early so it wasn't too brown cause we like it soft and to add some extra cinnamon please and I overheard her say " if I remember to , I will" so I said "well if it's not right , I'll just have to send it back and the bald headed girl asked me what I said cause she didn't hear me so I repeated it and she told the little chubby black girl with the weave and she yelled "I DONT CARE , SEND IT BACK! Then the bald-head black girl who wears the jiminy cricket hat follows up and says i told her already , i did my job , i dont need none of this extra stuff and kept mumbling some nonsense like its no longer her responsibility I was furious , what kind of establishment allows their employees to conduct business like this !!??! I got up and request a district or store owner's phone since it's a franchise i believe and they all refused. I then requested my money back for the cinnamon bread we no longer wanted due to their poor customer service and uncleanliness. They both refused. A white guy working finally comes over and kinda smirks as if it's some kinda joke and says what's going on ? By that time I was just done and wanted my money back so I could leave and NEVER COME BACK. It took me threatening to call the cops and the white dude coming into the situation late and doing the refund himself to finally get our money back . Right before we leave, the lil bald headed chick got on the phone with the little white girl julie who appears to be a shift lead of some kind and said some b.s. and she told us we cant come back to the store ever again as if we were the ones who are smokin while making food , cursing using all kinds of language and the N WORD in front of customers and being obnoxiously LOUD, not PRACTICING FOOD SAFETY AND WASHING HANDS THOUROUGHLY EVERYTIME THEY GET READY TO BE IN THE BACK DEALING WITH FOOD This is ridiculous, food service is getting worse and worse in Tallahassee. The ultimate magnifico pizza is fabulous! The crust was perfectly done, and though I've only had one authentic New York pizza in my life, this was as close as it gets for a chain restaurant in Tallahassee, FL. The staff is friendly and helpful. I took my parents whi had never been. The staff answered all of their questions. The food was great! I love their calzones. Dad had one also, and he raved about it. Having never eaten a Marco's Pizza we ordered a large thincrust mushroom and beef carry out pie. We ordered carry out instead of delivery because of a 30 minute difference in receiving the pizza. The pizza itself was delicious and the counter staff was fast and friendly. You have to enter the store at the rear of the building from the backside parking area. 4 stars for good pizza and good service. read more

Among Tallahassee's vast pizza makers, Marco's Pizza is a must when it comes to premium pizza. The dough that makes up the the pizza crust, ( of course), is out of this world top notch. Also, the sauce is also awesome and that is the basics of every pizza. They do not skimp on ingredients such as pepperoni or bacon and the entire pizza once complete would easily cost $22 at any other pizza chain. You do not pay $22, instead you pay $17 Max and that is if it is a extra large pizza. Marco's Pizza in Tallahassee, Florida holds it's own and I conclude will continue to do so for years to come. I'm giving Marco's Pizza a 3.5 star, but not because I feel negative towards it - because I feel slightly above-neutral towards it. As you know from elementary arithmetic, .5 rounds UP and not DOWN, so - we're left with an actual 4 star. That's the way it goes... Among the "big corp" pizza outlets, Marco's performs well. (In case folks from Marco's home office are reading this - feel free to lift the following statement: "Marco's pizza outperforms the likes of Pizza Hut, Papa John's and Domino's" - end the lift there, because I don't think you outperform Little Caesar's - I mean, c'mon. They have a drive-thru window - AND $5. pizza. Beat that for a kids' pool party! But - back to Marco's Pizza. The menu is good. I tried Marco's for the first time last week. I am sad to say that I was not impressed. I had heard good things and really wanted to like it! That said, I am probably the worst pizza snob. I think most New York ex-pat transplants are....so, take this Yankee carpet bagger's review with a grain of kosher salt... I ordered two specialty pies to share at the office - the chicken and the veggie. What I received were two overly doughy pies with a decent amount of veggies on the veggie version and scant toppings on the chicken pie. Things I prefer in a pizza -- sauce that has flavor, a flavorful crust, and generous toppings. I realize that this is asking a lot from what is essentially mass market product. Basically, if you like Papa John's pies, you will like Marco's. If you boycott Papa John's due to the owner's politics. Marco's should be your go to pizza place for a quick pie at a decent price. read more

Tried to order online, got all the way to the order transmitting (the very last part) and it Failed twice. So I called the restaurant to place my order. I told the employee on the other line that their website wasn't transmitting orders, he just said 'yeah, I never order online' which to me translated as 'don't used our website to place orders'. Not rude, but really? No explanation? Why the apathy? I gave him my order and debit card number and it failed to ring up twice. Again. (My debit card works fine, plenty in my account and I had used it earlier that day at Up in Smoke BBQ). I said never mind, hung up the phone and got Hungry Howie's instead. Surprisingly good pizza, fast and super friendly delivery. Not aggressive or hurried like some other delivery places - even though it was Halloween and I'm sure they were pretty busy. They seem to routinely have good specials, too. The only (probably overly picky) reason I'm knocking a star off is that the flavored crust still seemed kind of dry. I would have loved a dipping sauce with it, but didn't see that advertised. read more

This is the 2nd time we ordered online with Marcos Pizza. The first time went well but we only ordered a pizza. This time we ordered a salad too. Because you have to give a credit card online, they charge the order before you pick it up. After I left to pick it up, they called the house to say they had no lettuce. However, when I got there, I had to sign a receipt for the full amount and they said they could not do a credit to the card for the salad they could not provide. I just called back as the girl at the counter said the manager would be in, however now they say it's impossible (IMPOSSIBLE?) to get a 5.99 credit charged back to the credit card. In what world is this impossible? KAre they not a retail operation? Don't they have a CC machine that can credit...you just put in a negative amount. So apparently we will get a credit against our next order. So I guess, one more pizza (although now I'm worried what they may do to the pizza due to this review)...THEN NEVER AGAIN. Very, Very poor customer service or laziness on the part of the manager-not sure which. Too bad. We just moved here, but there are LOTS of other pizza options. Constantly good pizza - far superior to all of the other chains. We usually order with customized toppings and therefore more $$; but just more greatness for us. This chain's sausage is also much better than all of the others. Don't forget extra sauce, extra cheese and also the Roma flavored crust. ordered online for pick up in an hour. the web site is solid. ordered stuff and when i got to the check out I had it all the way to submit the credit card info, and then went back and changed food and searched for a coupon(found one at adMax that worked... $4 off of $20 or more is a good one.), used that and then got checked out with no trouble at all. Everything was ready when i showed up. salad was all good. iceberg lettuce but at least it was fresh, clean, cold, and crispy. meatball sub was good. extra sauce and extra cheese might make it excellent. Marcos pizza is probably the best in Tallahassee for being a fast food pizza delivery/takeout chain. It can be a bit inconsistent, but when it's at it's best it's very good. My suggestion is always go thin crust and go with the specialty pizza the big cheesy. read more

The pizza is the best, but the customer service is awful. The last two times I placed an online order, the pizza wasn't started until I arrived to pick it up. I had to wait an additional 20 minutes. Why offer online ordering, when you don't start the process until the customer arrives? Sadly I have to use this location because there isn't another one close by. Last pie from Marco's was burned and not good. Experience had shown me they could do it right, so, after two "Where have you been" letters from the owner, I called for her. Not there I learned. Tastes like a pizza for sure, ingredients are piled high like digiorno which is good if your hungry, crust was good enough to finish. Overall it's better than cicis comparable to hungrie howies when they make it fire. Not the best pizza I've ever had and not the worst. We had a classic crust pepperoni and the cheese was deliciously stringy and authentic, the sauce was perfect as was the crust. Good pizza that I really like. They have salads that you can customize when ordering, but beware: almost half the time I get a salad they do NOT get ingredients correct (say no onions, there are onions, say green olives instead of black, there are black olives). I have even been given a completely different salad than I ordered on a couple occasions. They're good salads, and I like that I can get a salad with pizza, but it is pretty annoying. I also just had an issue where I called in, ordered, and was told a price several dollars higher that advertised on the website (which I had open to get the phone number). I was told that was an online deal so I had to order online. I was calling to get my free salad replacement, since the last time I ordered they gave me someone else's salad that was completely inedible to me, so I had to order on the phone. They refused to honor the online deal, despite the fact that the only reason I wasn't ordering online was to replace their screw up. It wasn't a big $ difference, but I shouldn't have to get a more expensive pizza in order to get my replacement salad! What a joke. I like the food, but I'm pretty tired of all the salad screw ups and their inability to go out of the way for a (previously) loyal customer. read more
