I've ordered from here twice. The first time, I called in a pick up order. The second time, I ordered delivery through their website. When I picked up my order, the food was ready quickly and staff were friendly. It's a pretty cramped interior, so not a place you would would want to dine in even if they had tables which they did not. When I ordered delivery (at 7pm on a Friday), my pizza showed up in about 20 minutes. I was impressed. My online ordering experience was less impressive. The website was glitchy, and I had to start over several times. It probably took longer to place the order than to receive it. What about the food, you ask? It's good. I can't complain. But I probably won't return. For me it ranks somewhere between Little Caesars and Pizza Hut. I've had a pizza, the garlic knots and the pepperoni rolls. They were all good but nothing to write home about. Pizza is one of those things where everybody's tastes are different. Five star pizza is great! 99 cent delivery and being open until 3 am gives them an edge over the other pizza places in town. They also do an everything pizza where they throw every topping they have onto it- for a reasonable price! We tried them after they opened with a Facebook coupon and I really enjoyed it. We also ordered a side of garlic butter and it's literally the most amazing garlic butter I have ever had in my life. It's extra special and 100% worth the $1 (or whatever it is). This is a combination review of two visits. We dropped in on December 15th to try this place out and then today. We got a cheese pizza with garlic knots the first time. It was good, but not great. It was a solid pizza, but nothing amazing. Customer service was great both times. I got a coupon in the mail for a free large pizza and I was like, hey let's try this place again. We called it in after the gym (the best time for pizza) and went it with the coupon, the guys in there were so nice and friendly. Got home and threw down on that mother. That pizza was demolished. We both ate half a pizza each and it was a lot better. Sauce and crust consistency was amazing and the pizza bones were baller and fluffy AF. I will definitely come back for a slice after this second experience. It is my favorite smaller joint for pick up now. Good pizza and they stay open late until 3am. I like the late hours because I work late and they aren't far from my place of work. The delivery is great when they aren't that busy. There have been times when I call for delivery and they tell me it's an hour and 45 minute wait...and it's 2 in the morning. If you close at 3am how could that be, and why don't you have more delivery drivers? The food is good, but they can do better on the delivery. read more

As a still fairly new Tallahassee resident, I have not yet tried all of the pizza in Tallahassee but so far was not impressed. However, I give Five Star Pizza an 85% Boston rating.
