This was our first visit and we were not sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised by the food and the large oven behind the bar. We will be back to try the house made desserts. Lots to choose from and what we saw has us planning the next trip.

Bagigio's is a tiny gem in south Leon County. Located in Woodville, this pizza spot offers wood fired pizzas, fresh salads, a few pasta options, and their own Gelato. They also have house made limoncello! The waitstaff is friendly & attentive. You can grab a table or sit at on a stool with a view of the pizza making action. Great for take out or dining in. I highly recommend the calzone and the peanut butter Gelato.

Place is clean, quick service and the pizza was delicious! Server was helpful. Affogatos were interesting as it seems they were made with hazelnut coffee not espresso. Didn't hate it. I'd go back!

I was here on an early Saturday afternoon. I wasn't sure if they were open or not but, fortunately for me they were. Chelsea greeted me warmly. The interior was spotless and the tables so cute. The greeting was very friendly. I ordered a Coke and later decided on one of their smaller pizzas with pineapple, ricotta, ham and pepperoni. The pizza crust rocked Even though I would prefer mine a little more crisp on the bottom. When I return, I am going to order lasagna or a calzone. And there will be a next time.

Was greeted warmly on arrival. You order at the counter and sit at any table you want and food is delivered to your table. The space is nicely decorated and feels open and airy. The food is fresh and made to order. We shared a salad which was good but the portion was small not really big enough to share (we ordered the large salad). They have 3 sizes for pizza: individual (which is perfect for one person, looks small but was perfect), medium which is good enough to share for 2 people and large which is huge. The dough is incredible, one of the best I have had in the USA. Tomato sauce is also excellent not acid and with tons of flavor. Prices are on the higher side but everything is great quality and I thought was worth it. Make sure to save room for dessert because the ice cream is home made and seriously good - worth every calorie. Would recommend.

This business is tucked under some trees. Barely noticeable if you aren't looking for it. Definitely worth the stop. You walk in and place your order and choose where you'd like to sit. We walked right in at 3 and had prompt courteous service. Everyone was very attentive and we never went with an empty cup. The stuffed cheese bread was delicious as well as the Pizza Americana. They are a little heavy handed with the cornmeal on their products. We purchased a Stromboli which came out like more of a calzone. Only reason we gave the restaurant a 4 star is due to the garlic in the Stromboli. It was poorly diced and there were several whole cloves. I love garlic but an entire bite of it will take you back if you aren't ready. Over all it's an upscale pizza restaurant, with great ambiance and wonderful customer service

Bagigio's is located on Woodville Highway in South Tallahassee, more popularly known as Woodville. It's an Italian casual restaurant. You'd think the star item is the pizza and to many, you'll be correct. But make no mistake the hidden gem here is the homemade ice cream! The ice cream is elegantly served on a plate. No cup. No cone. The flavors include key lime, blueberry, apple pie, strawberry, Nutella, expresso and vanilla. We tried the key lime ice cream. It was served as a round 1" to 1 1/2" slice. To our surprise a scoop of vanilla was on top with a generous sprinkling of graham cracker crumbs. There are two options: small for $4 or large for $7. We opted for the small. And it was a good thing because you WANT to save room for dessert after pizza. The portion size is generous and plenty for two people. Keep dessert in mind when you order the pizza! They have three sizes, a ten inch personal pizza (size of a dinner plate), a medium pizza and a large. We ordered the medium Pizza Bagigio's, their namesake. This pizza was topped with Tomato sauce, Mozzarella cheese, Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Hamburger, Mushrooms, and Red Onions. The pizza is cooked in a wood-fired one-of-a-kind suspended oven. It's behind the counter so you can see it from nearly every one of the 15 or so tables. The tables and the counter are also works of art. They're live edge tables made from 200-year-old reclaimed trees pulled straight from the Suwannee River, as their website touts. The pizza was excellent! Hot, crispy crust and plentiful toppings in every bite. Again, good thing we split the medium because we had room for dessert! The restaurant was built from the ground up. It's nicely decorated with plants in the windows, brick flooring and leather booths surround the live edge tables. The service was welcoming, friendly and personable. If you're looking for a nice reasonable drive and want to try something new, this is a great option and we will return.

Picked up a large supreme Pizza for take out. The Pie was being pulled from the oven as I arrived. The time given when ordering was spot on and so was the Pizza pie. They also supplied some extra parmigiana cheese and red pepper flakes to go with. They had me check it out before leaving and it was perfect. Upon arriving home had to take a picture of its perfection before devouring. It was delicious and exactly what I was looking for in a pizza pie. I cannot eat like this daily but will hold out for this place when I do. Recommend anyone who what's a quality pizza pie to try them out.

There was a standard menu given to us along with specials for the evening. Also notes were wine specials and a decent wine list. Two in our party enjoyed a Pinot Grigio and a Sauvignon Blanc and exclaimed good quality. For starters we got fresh bread that was accompanied by seasoned olive oil and an herbed butter. We also had the flash fried artichokes; recommended these 100%. There were little strips of red bell peppers mixed in and note, when I say "flash fried" I'm talking a lite dusting of a flour batter and super lite fry...no grease. Dinner entrees consisted of the birthday boy ordering the filet, au gratin potato and asparagus. Three of us had the flounder that had tomato confit, artichoke, hearts palm, olives and mandarin oranges. The filet was cooked perfect and extremely tender with the sides paired perfectly. The flounder was exceptional and no plate was left with a morsel to be seen! The dessert menu was hard to choose from but we settled on brownie with sauce and vanilla ice cream and the raspberry cheesecake. Add in a couple of after dinner coffees/espresso the meal was perfect. This restaurant is small but not elbow small. A few tables outside for nice weather occasions and a small bar to seat 3-4 people. Aiden was our server and he did an awesome job; efficient, attentive without being overly hovering with a great sense of humor. We will be back!

I'm a longtime customer of Z Bardhi's in Tallahassee -- I've dined there 6-7 times, and I once hosted a group of 10 there. I genuinely believe in supporting local restaurants, especially after sticking with them through the challenges of the last several years. That's why this experience hurts to write about. I placed a to-go order recently, and what I received was shockingly poor. Had I been eating in the restaurant, I would have sent it back immediately. The Caprese Salad ($16) was listed as sliced tomatoes topped with buffalo mozzarella, basil, and balsamic vinaigrette over mixed greens. Instead, I received four thin tomato slices, four flat, uninspiring pieces of supermarket-style mozzarella totaling less than two inches, and one singular small piece of wilted lettuce. That's it. For sixteen dollars. The Caesar salad was equally minuscule and underwhelming. The large pizza with sausage, mushrooms, and green peppers (with the $2 per topping upcharge) was also disappointing -- most of the pie had almost no green peppers, and the sausage and mushrooms were scattered so sparsely that entire sections were bare. I understand restaurants can have off nights, but this wasn't an off night. This was a clear lack of care and portion control coming out of the kitchen. When loyal customers are consistently shorted on ingredients and charged premium prices for what feels like bare-minimum effort, it doesn't just disappoint -- it breaks trust. Z Bardhi's, I hope management sees this and takes it seriously. I want to keep supporting you, but experiences like this make it very difficult. If this level of effort continues, many of us who have been regulars will have no choice but to take our business elsewhere. We have options, and loyalty has to go both ways. Photos attached for reference.

A large party of 10 came and sat adjacent to us, so, we asked to move once more. Once settled, we were served bread and water, then ordered a cocktail. The bread was nice and crusty. The cocktails were as ordered. We ordered an appetizer to share - squid ink pasta with seafood and fra diablo sauce. Quite tasty! For entrees, the fish of the day was red snapper piccata. Q We both ordered the snapper with sides of carrots with a brown sugar pecan glaze and Brussels sprouts with a balsamic drizzle. Our entrees arrived. Traditional Piccata is floured then sautéed in butter/olive oil, drippings are made into a lemon butter sauce with capers and parsley. What was served was a breaded the fried piece of snapper with what looked like a thin lemon parsley white sauce to pour over it and some fried crispy capers. The fish was nice white flesh, a thick breading, slightly overcooked. The almost green parsley laden lemon sauce was mediocre. The The The capers would have been better warmed in the skillet and not fried. Side dishes - the carrots were a platter of multi colored sautéed or blanched. The brown sugar glaze was scant and there were a Few nuggets of glazed pecans. Not as described by our server. The sprouts were crispy and had a tasty balsamic glaze. I felt the dish was mediocre and wished I'd ordered a steak. For dessert, I ordered the spumoni ice cream. Nothing like traditional layered spumoni I've had in the past. This seemed to be chocolate ice cream with some nuts and chocolate bits in it. Cherries non existent. I never mind spending money if the food quality is commensurate to the price. Our bill came to $200 + $40 tip. Far below my expectations.
