James is INCREDIBLY knowledgeable and yes, it's way more expensive than what you can find on Amazon or wherever else but this is ALL this store has. Crystals. I would not go there with a specific book or item in mind because they're unlikely to have it on hand, but it's a great little shop to peruse and/or pick up a gift for someone. I did not find the mother/daughter bible study I was looking for, but I did walk out with a Spanish children's bible and a high quality adult coloring book for my kids. If you do need something specific, the owner told me she can place special orders. She also recovers bibles, in case you have one in need of repair. It's hard to know exactly how a shop like this can survive in a world with Amazon, but I'm glad to see it and happy to support it. The owner is very friendly and I imagine this draws in the repeat customers. I know I'll be back!
