    Pepperoni pizza

Food and service was top notch! We had a large pepperoni pizza and 3 drinks and it cost $16. Can't beat that price! Pizza was delicious! Glad we got off the interstate to check this place out!

No cocktail sauce for shrimp. Started an argument with my family. Ended up not eating. Epic failure. Will not return.

Good food, nice wait staff, large selection of great tasting food. Parking is a little inconvenient but the food is worth it!

There are handicapped spaces adjacent to building right next to entrance. The host counter is right in front as you walk in. We were greeted immediately and taken to a booth. Seating is mostly tables as well as booths along the walls. There is also a patio on the side of the building. Our server came by a couple minutes after we were seated to take our drink orders. While waiting on the drinks I grabbed a few different salsas from the salsa bar. The salsa selection is good and there are a lot of different options. Once our drinks came and we made the food order, we waited another 10 minutes or so for it to arrive. That was the last time we saw our server until the end of our meal. My dining partner ordered the Chili relleno. While a decent size, the dish was subpar. The beef filling was quite dry and there was no to very little cheese inside. The meat filling was ground beef with minimal seasoning. This was a very bland dish. The Mexican street tacos (one each of beef, pork, and chicken) came with beans and a Cesar salad. The beans were fine as was the salad. The tacos all had a chipotle sauce added which was fine, but I would have preferred the option of adding different salsas from the salsa bar without the chipotle sauce already added. Unfortunately, all three meats were slightly dry and were very bland. The other ingredients were fine, and the flavor of each taco was greatly enhanced by adding different salsa options from bar, even over the chipotle sauce. This made the dish palatable. It appears the menu has been "Americanized" and lacks true Mexican authenticity. While it is acceptable for what it is, authentic Mexican food can be found in abundance just a half mile away.

Good food, good service and a nice happy hour. A very nice salsa bar. Altogether a nice ambience.read more

It's aight restaurant, I order a acp and that food was bombing it reminded me of my times in Mexicoread more

The place was…read morepretty deserted, but I chalked it up to a combination of it being so new and the day of the week / time of night we were there. It looks pretty much like the last place that was there, although much brighter. Tables and floors were a little sticky in places, but it wasn't bad enough to worry with. The salsa should have been our tipoff to just grab drinks and run. First salsa was like tomato sauce, second was like the medium green salsa at Chipotle only with a lot less kick and flavor, third salsa they brought by was their "hottest" and it was super watery and only had a mild afterburn. Three separate entrees were ordered plus an appetizer. The entrees arrived first, then the appetizer. The tortillas for two of three entrees were brought around 4-5 minutes after the food. The "Deluxe Nachos" were anything but deluxe. I should have been tipped off by the shredded cheese and fancy (possibly romaine) lettuce on top. There was queso, on the bottom of the plate. It's ok though, I don't think I could have stomached the queso anyway, apparently they used the same stuff on this and the ACP chicken we ordered. We didn't even bother trying to eat it, it was pretty much a pile of chips on a thin layer of cheese with a salad on top. It was not deluxe in any sense. The ACP chicken was crazy, I think someone reversed the butter vs cheese ratio when they were making queso - straight up tasted like grits and butter or white rice and butter. Scant signs of cheese. Chicken was good, but it was seasoned in a definitely non-mexican way (tasted like garlic roasted chicken, can't really put my finger on it, but very odd).. At least the ACP had some sign of seasoning though! The beef fajitas that we ordered were not seasoned at all, not even salted. Same wierd fancy salad bar lettuce. Bland rice, bland refried beans. The Tipico Carne Asada was okish. Meat was decent, avacado slices were fresh, pepper stuffed with cheese was OK, decent pico, everything else (rice, beans, wierd fancy salad bar lettuce) was skipped. The waiter was attentive, I think he realized that we weren't really thrilled with the food. If he didn't realize it before the check, I'm sure he knew it when we firmly refused his offer for any boxes for our full plates of food. Ok, so bottom line this restaurant is not your Typical Mexican (as the name states), I'm not even sure you can call it mexican. Taco Bell does a better job of imitating mexican food, although the presentation isn't as nice. I don't understand why you would want to try to sell lackluster tex-mex there anyway? There is a large scale tex-mex place very close to this place that has decent food and a much better bar. This should have been an authentic mexican taco/burrito place instead :)
