I am not particularly religious so when it came time to pick someone out I really was not particularly thrilled about getting a man of the cloth but I also didn't mind some mention of faith either. My fiance looked a good bit on various sites and finally found Chase. We decided to set up a meeting with Chase at a local coffee house. Chase was there when we got there and fully prepared. Most important, to me anyways, was that he seemed very relaxed and calm and it really served to calm my nerves then, so I knew it would help at our wedding (which I wasn't nervous about but thought perhaps on the big day I might be). After a nice discussion about what we preferred to have Chase presented us with a good bit of documentation to help us decide upon our ultimate vows. Our meeting lasted about a half hour and went really well. We had planned to meet another officiant afterwards but we didn't even get to the car from leaving the coffee shop before we had decided to go ahead and retain Chase. Upon arriving home I immediately Paypal'ed Chase the money (another thing I like about Chase is the fact that he's modern and not only knows what Paypal is but actually accepts it!!) and we got everything set up. We then met with him again a bit closer to the wedding and showed him what we had selected as our vows. We chose a little of this and a little of that. He had offered us a great selection to choose from and made it very easy for us to pick our ultimate vows. On our wedding day Chase arrived early and, as before, was a calming presence in a sea of sorta craziness. I really wasn't nervous a lot but I was a little and Chase quietly explained everything about how it would all go and made me feel 100% comfortable about what we were doing so that I wouldn't mess up our big day. My groomsmen all really liked Chase as well. Our ceremony went off without a hitch. Chase read all of our vows really well, as if he was talking and not reading (I'm sure he has a lot of vows from his selection memorized which helps!). He did not rush but he also didn't linger and draw things out, A common criticism I have of weddings is the officiant tends to "drone" and Chase did not do that! He was great and I'd highly recommend him to anyone, especially if it's your first wedding and you're worried about your nerves. Chase is a real pro who I can't recommend enough. Unfortunately, the experience after booking and after the wedding became frustrating, and several important issues were never properly addressed. The first issue was with the package pricing. We only had two guests attending my mom and sister. We were told we had to book the next package tier because the smallest package did not allow guests, which cost about $200 more. During the wedding, Patty mentioned that because we only had two guests, we actually could have used the smaller package with just a small additional fee. However, when I followed up by email afterward asking about this, she denied ever saying that. That was disappointing and felt dishonest. The second major issue involved the photographer. Patti forgot to inform the photographer that we were scheduled, so the photographer arrived about 1.5 hours late. Because of this, many important pre-ceremony photos including dress photos, ring photos, and other moments getting ready had to be taken on a phone instead of professionally. We paid a significant amount for photography, so this was extremely frustrating. The delay also caused the rest of the session to feel rushed. Communication after the wedding was also poor. We were never given updates on when to expect our wedding photos, and I had to send multiple emails asking about them. I was repeatedly told the gallery had already been emailed to me, but nothing was ever received in my inbox or spam folder. It took almost two more weeks of back-and-forth before I finally received the link. Overall, while the venue itself is decent for a small wedding, the lack of communication, scheduling mistakes, and refusal to acknowledge concerns left a very negative impression. I understand that mistakes happen, but the way these issues were handled afterward is why I cannot recommend this venue. There are many better options for couples planning a smaller-budget wedding.

On our first meeting she was running around troubleshooting everything from a cookie display (this was SO important to the family), to making sure everything stayed on time, directing each person who came to the venue to the correct places...she is a well-oiled machine on the day of the wedding. More recently, I have been able to see her process when I saw her offices and met some of her clients on-site. She has excellent relationships and truly cares about each of her brides or clients, is always quick to communicate via email or phone call and has built up a rapport with so many wonderful vendors to partner with her clients. Brides are lucky to have her and she is so humble and down to earth, she listens and provides what her clients want. I've been to a lot of weddings in my life and know that the DJ/MC can make or break a party. Our…read morefriends wisely chose Ethan from Premier Entertainment for their recent wedding and he was the best! He kept the energy of the group up the whole night, even through the typically boring experience of being released from our tables to go to the buffet line. Ethan made it fun with a hilarious and totally random "trivia" game. He did a nice job of managing the group and the flow of the guests, and sped the game up as needed. He was so fun to listen to and he kept it real and very funny while being respectful especially when introducing people for their speeches, etc. When the dance floor opened up, that's when he really got to shine. He's an actual DJ who mixes songs, vs just playing full streams of songs one after the other, making the dance floor the go-to spot all night. It was never empty and we never had any of those awkward lulls where everyone just stands around waiting for the next song. He let us know early on that he takes requests, so I was off to show him my list, which he took a photo of. He even joined in with dancing and singing! I don't have any plans to get married anytime soon, but if I did and lived in Ohio, I'd 100% hire Ethan.

She made recommendations for the flow of the evening and for a couple fun things to help entertain the guests while they were waiting to be called to the buffet. Towards the end of the night she even got on the dance floor for a quick turn in a dance battle with the rest of the wedding party and remaining guests. Throughout the night she kept the guests entertained and did her best to keep the dance floor full!
