I blame myself for being impulsive and wanting a haircut last minute, just picking any salons nearby that is available, so whatever is the result, 100% my fault. I called to check if i can come in for a haircut and was told yes. I came in right away. Upon entering, I was welcomed, she asked if she can wash my hair i said yes. I went to my chair after, showed her a picture of what i want, asked me if i want bangs, confirmed if she can do curtain bangs, she said yes. She cut my hair with less than 10 snips, then focused on the bangs. After she cut the bangs, she blowdried it for a long time trying to style it, when it dried i checked it was so ugly. I didnt mind at this point it's already done, it will grow anyways. Then she told me im done when my hair is still wet, i asked her if she can blow dry ill pay extra, she told me haircut and shampoo is 30, blow dry is extra, but didnt disclose how much extra. She dried my hair and the outcome is way different from the picture i showed. I wanted to ask if she can layer it more but i hesitated and thought that i can just do it myself at home. I was already unhappy at this point. When i came to pay, she was charging me $78.00? Mind you this is not a high end salon, this is a regular salon in the corner, who would believe a hair cut cost 78?? She said it's the blowdry part that's expensive, if she had told me that in the beginning i wouldve left with wet hair. I still gave her a $10.00 tip, so i spent $88 dollars today for a haircut that made me mad. We come to places like these to relax and gain confidence, if we leave feeling mad and disappointed, i dont know what else to say. Again it's my fault for making a bad decision. So for those who want to get a haircut, especially if you are a busy mom like me who has no spare time, do your research and make an appointment to your favorite and trusted salon. You'll save time and money and be actually satisfied.

Kim has been great at cutting my curly hair since day one. I'm so glad when I first scheduled an appointment here that I was randomly placed with her! She has cut my very long hair and cut shorter styles on me too. She always does such a nice job styling it once it's cut. She has styled it both straight and curly for me. I moved to Burbank a few years back and have seen other hairstylists that are local to me, but no one compares to Kim so I keep coming back! Kim has fixed a bad haircut I got with ease and she always has such a positive attitude. They take credit or cash, and maybe check, but I'm not sure. The salon she works in is also decorated so adorably! Whoever decorated it has done such a nice job and it looks very girly in there! Even their restroom has such nice cute touches. My first visit was with Pharmis - greeted me warmly, then hit right down to the business of beautifying... Another perk: she stays later than most stylists - allowing those of us with day jobs, or in need of more than a few hours to do errands on Sundays - to still get in an appointment for the weekend. My second visit was with the owner, and she was equally awesome - had some great suggestions, took my own input about my blowout, and we scheduled for an upcoming appointment to help write in my highlights.
