I was looking for a last minute appointment for a birthday treat. I wanted a pedicure, a facial, a massage and was interested in trying out a "head spa". Well lucky for me I found an all in one salon 6 minutes from my house and I was able to make a very convenient appointment time. The salon is super cute. It has taken me a while to write this review because I wanted to be fair. My coworkers gave me a gift certificate for a head spa because they knew I could really use some relaxation. My original appointment was on Saturday at 1:00 p.m., but I received a call that morning letting me know the head spa specialist was sick and they needed to reschedule. I completely understood--people get sick. They rescheduled me for Sunday at 2:00 p.m. and even offered an extra massage for being so understanding, which I appreciated. On Sunday, I arrived a few minutes before my appointment. There were two stylists working with clients, and I stood there for a few minutes before someone acknowledged me. After I said I was there for a head spa appointment, I was asked to have a seat for a few minutes. About 15 minutes later, the stylist called me over to her station, performed the included scalp analysis, and then explained that she had gotten behind and needed to finish with her two existing clients. She was very pleasant and engaging, so I didn't mind waiting at first. Unfortunately, "a few minutes" turned into an hour and a half. My 2:00 p.m. appointment didn't actually begin until around 3:30 p.m. Even after I was taken back to the head spa room, I waited another 10-15 minutes before the stylist came in. Since this was my first head spa experience, I didn't know exactly what to expect beyond the videos I'd seen online. To her credit, I believe she completed all of the advertised steps, and she did provide a very nice, extended massage. The treatment itself was enjoyable. The experience fell apart afterward. The package included a blowout, but my hair was simply dried with fingers run through it, with a brush used only briefly. I left with frizzy, poofy hair and ended up having to rewash and style it myself when I got home. I finally left at 5:30 p.m.--three and a half hours after arriving for what should have been a much shorter appointment. The biggest disappointment wasn't the treatment itself; it was the complete lack of respect for my time. I had told my husband I'd be home in about an hour so we could spend the afternoon with our son. Instead, I spent most of my Sunday waiting. I went in hoping for a relaxing experience and left feeling stressed and rushed. I understand that schedules sometimes get off track, and I genuinely appreciated that they accommodated me after having to cancel my first appointment. However, once it became clear they were running this far behind, I wish someone had offered me the option to reschedule again or at least been honest about the delay. I could have made an informed decision instead of spending hours waiting. Based on my experience, I can't say I would return. read more

I owe my Husband for finding this Goldmine !! Which happens to be downstairs from my Dentist !! My old Hairdresser decided on her own to change the color of my low lights without asking me to a darker darker shade I was horrified my Birthday was in a week and I was a monster !! My Husband called this Salon talked to Abby and that was a Blessing!! She took me right in and hours later I was so happy and overjoyed!! Went in for a head spa and got the most expensive package to pamper myself (The Works) and I was a bit disappointed. The lady attending me was very very kind but I didn't receive all parts of the treatment specified under The Works...didn't get a scalp analysis and the "facial" portion was cleanser and a moisturizer. Just got finished with the March special which was a combination of 40 min head spa, blowout, facial and pedicure for $120. Great deal! My tech for the head spa, facial and blowout was Tabitha. She did really great on the head spa and facial. Very gentle and relaxing. I have thick and long hair and i could tell she was frustrated about it. Once the head spa and facial was done we headed over to the blowout. She was unable to comb it thoroughly without putting any product in it to soften it. Id recommend the Redken One United spray. Literally able to comb through all the knots! Anyways, she was just getting very frustrated since it was taking long. It seemed like she was in a rush. She said i needed a trim which i think is a little rude since i didnt ask for her opinion! Honestly was very shocked with the end results of how she styled my hair. She pretty much just blow dried it with the regular brush the entire time instead of using a round brush at the end to give volume and that slight curl. My hair came out flat and the ends looked horrible! She left them puffy and tangled. It was not a blowout. My hair was not flowy and voluminous at all! Ive done my own hair at home and can do a better job. So to blame it on me needing a haircut is crazy. But the good thing is that my scalp came out beautiful and my hair was clean. Which is the only thing i really went for. Next, i went over to get my pedicure with Nidia. It only got worse from here. She asked if i had an idea of what color i wanted and i wasnt too sure so i said brown or white. Instead of bringing a nail polish pamphlet, she brought over a couple colors of brown. She cut my nails too short instead of trying to make them all even in shape. She kept snipping my skin when trying to cut the dead skin off my cuticles. The water was cold and not hot and relaxing at all! She had to keep redoing the toe about 3 to 4 times on both sides because she kept hitting the inside of the uv light with them and blamed it on the nail polish color. And explained how browns get bubbly all the time. She was also putting the coats way too thick. Some of the polish leaked to the side and it cured like that and she just left it! In the end, there were still air bubbles... Im honestly just disappointed. I think these techs need more experience and training. They did both say they had about 2 years in the job which explains it. I dont mean to sound rude but i think it was rude the way my hair was styled and my toes looked in the end. read more

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE FINE HAIR, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! I typically never leave negative reviews for places but the experience at this "salon" was ridiculous. My mom went in for a head spa experience at Bella Salon and came back humiliated. We have course and thick hair and this salon did not know how to properly brush/blow dry it. They made my mom feel extremely uncomfortable with their stares and even made remarks such as suggesting a hair cut because they couldn't properly do their job which was brushing and blow drying. She felt put to shame the whole time and it even came to the point of her having to offer the professional if my mom needed to brush her own hair!! Because they were unable to do their job, they sent her home with half way brushed and damp hair. The shocked stares by the other stylists combined with the unfinished service was absurd for something that is supposed to be a "professional establishment". read more

I have really short hair (like a pixie cut) and I constantly get stopped by women asking who cuts my hair. This review is for Serena Hughes: She is amazing guys. Honestly I have the bushiest, most difficult eyebrows to shape and wax. One is higher than the other and they grow in twice as fast as normal. (She once told me that two weeks for me is a month of growth for the average person) Somehow- even though my eyebrows are annoying to shape, she manages to make them look amazing every time, which is why I'll continue to move salons with her until I don't live in the area anymore. I followed Laurelle, my favorite manicurist, when she moved here. I have not been disappointed. This is a very clean and modern looking salon. All of the personnel are friendly. Laurelle is amazing. She gives the best foot message in the world. I could fall asleep when she is giving me a pedicure. I am pretty simple when it comes to my nails but I have seen some beautiful art work that she has put on other people's nails.
