My rating is 3.5 rounded up to four. The problem here was not the food, but an apparent mistake with my order; We sat for a while before we had a server come to our table; she was apologetic. The problem is that my husband's food came about 25 minutes before mine came out; it seems they might have forgetten my order until we asked about it. So, my husband was finished eating before my food came. They apologized but did not offer any sort of compensation. I ordered the quesadilla with veggies instead of a meat; my husband had the sopas meal, which came with 3 sopas. We liked our food, so it is unfortunately that the mess-up with my food put a negative spin on the experience. read more

Had dinner at Margarita's with family in town for Thanksgiving. There were seven of us at 5:30pm on a Friday with no reservation and they were able to seat us immediately. The service was excellent. They brought water and chips right away, and the waitress soon took our drink order. My 85 year old mother had a large margarita, which we all got a kick out of. Our food came out in about 10 minutes after we ordered. I had my usual, two crispy shredded beef tacos a la carte. I love their tacos. My sister had tacos with rice and beans, and others had enchiladas and burritos. Everyone enjoyed their food. One of the best things about Margarita's, other than the food, is the decor. There are at least two huge Catrinas, Frida art, Calavera skulls, sacred hearts, and Talavera suns everywhere. It's very fun. read more

They told me I was not able to order alcohol? Even though I'm 24 years old. I then told my 20 year old friend to go up to the bar and try to get a drink and they served it to her. Very backwards. Also all the servers were just standing at the bar chatting, very hard to get any help I had to go up and interrupt their conversation every time I needed something. read more

If you are sober, this place is a solid 2 stars. After a few margarita's this place jumps up to 3 stars. After a long work day, I wandered into this restaurant looking to have a beer and an appetizer. After reviewing the appetizers, nothing looked interesting so I decided on an entree. I opted for the chile verde and it was not good. The sauce was too thick and it tasted microwaved. The dish felt like it was cooked in a crockpot a few days ago, and was left plugged in on low after. I ordered the whole pinto beans instead of refried and the dish came with some rice. The tortillas are not homemade and were just ok - not great. I was disappointed to say the least. For 23.00 , I expected more. The menu and ambiance is old-fashioned. This restaurant has plenty of seating both inside and out , but the food is just not that good. I hate when Mexican restaurants give you the same old selections to choose from . Tacos , enchiladas, burritos, blah blah blah. Mexican cuisine is much more than that . If you spend any time in Las Vegas , you will see how far Mexican cuisine has come. Do yourself a favor if you decide to eat here. Salsa was spicy but they gave plenty of chips. House Margarita was good and BIG. Chile Relleno was good, and not overly topped with batter which is how I like it, decent portion. Fajitas steak had good flavor but wish the meat wasn't cut too small or thin. Should have been a bit thicker pieces of meat to better enjoy it. Very crowded for a Thurs night. Our waiter was super weird because he kept asking us what we wanted and then proceeded to keep repeating our order. He also came by a million times and disrupted our meal, and at the end of it I placed the signed receipt at their register and he proceeded to say it was lost. It was not lost, it was at the register. I ordered the beef mole enchiladas and my friend who is Mexican said it was good mole. The beans were flavorful, the little itty bittty salad it came with was rather sad. Chips and salsa as starters but chips tasted stale. The micheladas were okay, the tomato juice tasted kinda off. We keep giving this place chances and the keep letting us down every time! Arrived at 5:30 tonight, seated right away, they gave us chips and salsa and that was the last time anybody talked to us. They sat three other tables around us. They all got drinks and their order taken. After staring at an empty chip and salsa bowls, and no water in our glasses,we decided we were and simply got up and walked out! Nobody said a word to us! Went over to sushi Nara and had a wonderful dinner. Margaritas is on its way out if that's how inconsistent their service is on a Friday night. Always seems to be some issue every time we go. Love their house margarita with Tajin! Ambiance is fun and very traditional! check out their heart wall near the bar-so fun and cute! I have frequented here with my family and it is our favorite Mexican place! Salsa and table side guacamole is sone of the best I have ever had! This is a special place for my sister and I as we frequented with our dad who loved it here too. He just passed away on August 18, 2025 and one of the pictures we shared at his celebration of life included a visit here when they had these wings standing out front. We took a picture of him. I had a very disappointing experience with Rocio. Her customer service was unprofessional and unhelpful from start to finish. She came across as dismissive, had a poor attitude, and didn't seem interested in addressing my questions or concerns. Instead of making the experience easier, she made it frustrating. I expected respectful and attentive service, but unfortunately, that was not the case. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so future customers receive a much better experience. read more

You can't go wrong with Mexican food! Every time I come here I always order mole and it does not disappoint. They greet you with serving you water and gave us lots of chips and salsa as we were a party of 7. The staff were very attentive and made sure we were taken cared of. How could a restaurant during the summer not have AC or even fans going? It was horrible inside. First thing I needed to do was go to the restroom and it smelled horribly like pee in there and the ground was sticky. The chips and salsa is okay. The queso is just melted cheese, nothing special and not worth getting. Service was okay, at best. We got water constantly spilled on our table whenever the cups were being refilled and no apologies or clean up, we cleaned it ourselves. My food came without something it should have, and I had to basically sit there and justify them bringing me the rest of my food. I didn't get a refill on my drink until we had already boxed our leftovers and were paying to leave, even though my cup was taken to get a refill quite some time prior. Lastly, my cheese in my food was not even melted. It's sad to have to write so much negative stuff, but this was just a ridiculous experience. We gave them another shot today and boy did we regret it! They sat us and completely ghosted us for over an hour! No chips, drinks or anything. We got up three times to ask if we could have a waiter and they just kept saying they would be right there. The table next to us got there ten minutes after us and was eating their meals by the time we got water! To top it off, our order was wrong and the food was bland. We love eating here. It's around the corner from our home and it's the perfect place for families and friends. They have a wide selection and offer vegetarian and gluten-free options. They also have seafood on the menu. The restaurant is cutely decorated and has an outdoor patio for seating as well. Every time I go here it is always busy. Let's take a moment to talk about the margaritas. They are huge and delicious and fresh. They offer both frozen and on the rocks with various flavors. I've only tried the regular, but I've heard the strawberry is good too. My favorite dish that I order over and over again is the chimichanga de papa. It's a potato chimichanga serve with sour cream and fresh guacamole on the top it's so good. Others at our table ordered the regular burrito à la cart and said it was delicious. Perfect if you aren't too hungry. I only have one complaint. The meal came with a salad which is awesome but it was so watery. The lettuce was not drained well. It's a great place for birthdays too! The menu has a vegetarian menu that says vegan upon request, got the potato tacos and asked for them vegan, then had to clarify that meant no cheese or dairy at all and was reassured they come with no cheese, and they came out with cheese. It's 5 pm. We stood by the "wait to be seated" sign. They were busy. Two ladies passed by us, didn't say hi, wait, or tell us someone would be with us in a minute. We were seated, brought a high chair for our baby, and were given menus. Our server was amazing. She took our drink orders and gave us her recommendations based on our questions. They brought us our drinks and within 5-10 minutes our appetizers were brought out. Appetizers: the taquitos were too hard, like a rock. They had a burnt taste and smell. I wouldn't recommend the taquitos. My salad was dressing with lettuce with one tomato. The people next to use got their dressing on the side and I would highly recommend that. Also, I personally didn't like seeing servers grab the salad with their bare hands. For me, that's just not sanitary. The kid's flauta was also hard. We couldn't even eat the burrito. It just wasn't good. The enchilada sauce was plain. Our server was so sweet and attentive. She deserves all the stars. This place is known for their drinks so if you want to drink and get a buzz, come. They have a full bar. However, I would not come back here for the food. It's just not worth it. read more

Driving through Morgan Hill and hungry as ever!! From the street we can see the sign flashing "Fine Mexican Food"....... Margarita's is tucked in the corner of a strip mall. Walked in to a very clean and tasty smelling restaurant greeted by a friendly hostess who seated us quickly. They brought us chips and salsa - chips had just been fried and salsa was fresh and mild but very flavorful. Our waitress came to take the order and brought another basket of fresh chips and salsa. I went for the 2 item combo with green chicken enchilada and crispy chicken taco, we also ordered a tamale plate and a 3 item combo with 2 cheese enchiladas and tamale pork. The chicken enchilada is juicy and good size and the crispy chicken taco was fresh, crunchy and yum. The rest of the table was happy with they're orders! Next time we will try the table side guacamole. read more

I've been to this restaurant several times and it's always hit and miss. They are a very popular restaurant in Morgan Hill so they get quite busy at times so sometimes their customer service could be lacking. But on most occasions, they do a great job. I understand places get busy and stressful. So I get it. The last time I came here I ordered the mole and it wasn't my favorite. But I have had the enchiladas in the past and absolutely loved them. I've also came here for national nachos Day and enjoyed their nachos quite a bit. But my favorite thing here is their flavored margaritas blended. They're made with a perfect amount of tequila, not too strong and not too weak. They have tasty fruity margaritas that are easy to take down. I plan to come here over and over. read more

Came here on a Tuesday at 5pm. It was busy!! It smelled amazing! I ordered the shrimp enchiladas. I was served beef's ones. My friend ordered beef enchiladas and she got the shrimp. When they put the plate down the server confirmed we go the right plates. They were wrong. So we waited for new plates and packed up the incorrect ones. I ate some of the shrimp ones. Great in the moment. Took the rest home. Shrimp enchiladas do not make great leftovers. The beef ones were hecka great as leftovers! read more

Parking is not an issue because it's located in a plaza & theres plenty of parking, near or far. Inside is beautifully decorated & really huge if you decide to eat inside, plenty of seating also for big parties. Outside is all decked out with colorful flowers & if you can decide if you'd like to people watch & enjoy the fresh air while eating your food & getting your drank on.
