Unfortunately, I have to agree with the majority here that whatever her name is can be incredibly rude. A few months ago, I went to my FIRST estate sale of hers and was confused about the pricing since items had no prices on them. I asked about a price of something, and she was so condescending and snappy, telling me to read the signs. Ok, sure.. but I was so flustered with her rudeness I sort of just stood there, was reading but not comprehending..she made me feel like crap. I have been on an estate sale kick and stumbled upon one of their estate sales today. Upon entry, I immediately witnessed an awful interaction. The woman at register, likely this infamous Jennifer, yelled at her employee Jose for not informing a customer about the moving company when the customer had asked. This scolding lasted almost a minute and was across the entire foyer where more than a dozen people could hear. It was awful how she humiliated that young man. I didn't feel comfortable supporting her business after that. Since I had just entered, I decided to peruse the estate sale a little for fun (they have a $75 minimum for card) and didn't see anything that struck my fancy. Prices seemed average or a little expensive. My friend does love her sales and says that she gives a good deal if you buy bundles of stuff. read more

We Visited a sale hosted by this team today. They had a sign that stated if you were rude you would have to leave. (Not exact wording but that was the jest.) The rudest person there? The person ringing us up. You couldn't ask a question, due to expectations of reading the 6-8 posted signs in the first room. Plus the 3-4 signs going up the walk way. I guess instead of being their to actually purchase ...you need to read all their postings. She then proceeded to berate people and state: "they couldn't do the same thing as 4th graders...read and follow instructions." She used the same amount of words to be rude as she would have used to explain what she wanted. If a person is that miserable doing a job-you should really contemplate your life choice-to find a new job. How hypocritical? -you can be mean to anyone and everyone-yet if a customer is...you kick them out?!? Be mean on your own time-people are there to give you money to do a job. Customer service-?!? You can keep the sarcasm. You can spread joy and a smile or being irritated-choose joy. I was compelled to look on yelp to write this. Then I noticed the other reviews...wouldn't you know...evidently this isn't just an "off day"- she's just rude. Being nice is free-and contagious. The person running the front checkout desk, who I'm assuming is Jennifer, the owner's daughter, is unbelievably rude. The second you walk in, she's already barking at people not to touch anything on the "sold" table because it's sold. Maybe here's a thought: don't put the sold table right at the entrance where people haven't even had a chance to read your (confusing) signs yet. While we were in line, she went off on a woman who was clearly struggling a bit with English and just trying to figure out how to pay. Instead of helping her like a normal human being, Jennifer just pointed at a sign and told her to read it. When the woman asked if she accepted Zelle, Jennifer refused to check her out altogether and called someone over to put her items back. No patience, no basic courtesy, nothing. She kept snapping at people the entire time we were there. Sure, the deals might be decent, but it's absolutely not worth dealing with someone who treats customers like that and acts like the only way to feel in control is by talking down to them. I was excited to go to the sale because I make jewelry and in the pictures there were a lot of beads. I asked a very sweet girl if all of the beads were different prices, and if she knew how much they were. She was very timid and said to please go ask the lady upfront. So I got a couple of boxes and went to the front to ask the lady. She says I don't give prices until you're ready to check out. I said OK I just wanted these two boxes and inquired about a price. She said did you not hear me? I said I don't get prices until you are ready to check out. I told her I was ready to check out. I won't go into any more detail because I am literally traumatized from the experience. But I will say that I was kicked out of the sale and told she was not going to sell me anything because I was rude. I was not rude at all. She was the rude one. I've never been treated so poorly in my life. She is a horrible person. She is ugly on the inside and out and she does not need to be running any kind of sales like this because she's definitely not a people person. Please do not use this company. I wish I could give zero stars. When you see an estate sale run by this company, RUN the other way, you will most likely get screamed at. So embarrassing, unprofessional, and childish. Today I attended one of their estate sales and wanted to ask about the price of a rug that had no tag. When I approached the register, I was told I couldn't have my bag with me, but it was impossible to have a normal conversation. The team does all the work, pricing, staging, selling, collecting the funds, and issuing a check for the proceeds. Jennifer also arranged for the house to be emptied and swept after the sale. We were happy to have an empty and swept house ready to put up for sale instead of one filled with clutter and dust. She called me dumb and told me I had one second to get my child off the property or I will be escorted off premises by her security. Everyone came up to me and apologied for the way she behaved towards me and were shocked that I kept my composure because "they wouldn't have been able to bite their tongue like me." We were very happy with the sale the BEEGLE ran for us. It was an emotional experience because we are selling 30 years of memories for prices which seem not aligned with OUR feelings. Here's a news flash....that is what we hired them to do! Your memory is not "the thing" and you cannot take it with you. So if an ESTATE Sales pro is hired to get you out of "the stuff", you have to hold your breath and let them do their job. In our case, that is EXACTLY what they did. You hire a realtor to get. Similarly, you hire a realtor to get you out of a house, and you can't freak out at the last minute and decide to take the front door with you. The process was organized. On prep day one, they came in like an army and emptied cabinets, drawers etc and reorganized the contents into groupings to help it sell. Prep day two, they priced and photographed everything for advertising. Jennifer ran the operation like master Sargent knowing exactly what needed to be done and when...right down to the boombox with high energy music. When it was over (two days) I was amazed. We saw a couple of items that we thought were incorrectly priced and Jennifer was open to the conversation. In one she changed the price and another convinced me that she was right. At the end of the day she does this all the time and knows what sells and at what price. She was right. Her relationships with charities had a church team follow the sale and take everything that they could sell as a donation. I was thrilled because the alternative is the dumpster and what a waste that would be....not to mention the tax credit for the donation. She referred movers where they were needed. She helped get items that didn't sell to a consignment location to try again to rehome them. I would recommend BEEGLE. I would also recommend that any person planning to have an estate sale prepare yourself for the emotional impact of watching your stuff and the associated memories go away...but that is the idea, right? I recommend that you prepare yourself for the event knowing that the items are having a new life with someone who will love them as much as you. If you struggle letting go, get as far away from the process and possible and trust the BEEGLE team to do their job. If you can't let go, buy a bigger house or a climate controlled storage barn. read more

I honestly wish I could give zero stars cause the woman running this was the worst,most hateful, rudest, unprofessional woman I've ever met in my life and I just turned 50 years old. I wouldn't use her or this business even if I had no other choice. While I was at her estate sale she threw me, my friend and at least 12 other people out of the sale for asking questions because things didn't have prices. She makes everything under $75 cash pay only so she can pocket the money!!! She is inexplicably abusive to buyers. She posted dozens of neon green signs in the home, about half of them threatening to kick out anyone who is rude or argumentative. I wondered why that was necessary, as estate sales don't usually draw a disrespectful crowd. Then I witnessed her kick multiple people out for random, non-rude things - like asking her to repeat a number because she didn't hear her, and one couple questioned why they had to pay the credit card surcharge in cash instead of on the card, so she threw them out. She threw out a husband while the pregnant wife was paying then he stepped back over to carry the items because his wife was pregnant and she told him don't touch them (he owned them!) or she'll call the police. She yelled at me for looking at (not even touching) the table of sold items, so I apologized for not realizing they were sold and she yelled "can't you read?" (There were 40 neon green signs with lengthy instructions all over the home and I must have missed that one!) I watched her mistreat so many people and have her "security guard" physically escort them out, that I just left. People were congregated on the sidewalk outside talking about her behavior and warning people not to go in. The estate sellers should get their money back. And she should retire. Avoid This Company - Incredibly Rude and Unprofessional. I had a deeply unpleasant experience with this estate sales company and would strongly advise others to steer clear. While I fully respect rules about not allowing children inside the sale, what happened outside the home was completely uncalled for. My wife was inside shopping while I waited quietly and respectfully outside with our young child. I was holding him and we were not causing any disruption whatsoever. Despite this, we were approached and told--very forcefully and rudely--that we had to leave. There was no courtesy, no basic human decency, and certainly no professionalism. It's one thing to enforce policies. It's another to go out of your way to treat people harshly who are doing absolutely nothing wrong. Today was my first time at a Margie Beegle sale and it was an utterly unhinged experience. If you pick something up but then decide against buying it (in my case a $15 salad bowl) she verbally attacks you in a *ridiculously aggressive* manner and threatens to arrest you. She has a fake cop at the door and if you break any of her 100 arbitrary rules she throws an ugly scene and threatens to have you escorted off the premises. If you are thinking of hiring her, know that you will likely lose a lot of business due to her paranoia and rudeness. Not worth your time and money. We waited in line to see if we could enter the estate sale with a baby in a wearable baby carrier. We were told the baby wasn't allowed and we said her dad is coming to the line to take her to the car. Let me start by saying our beautiful and fun morning was completely sidelined and ruined by the most vile, nasty, disrespectful, and hideous owner of an estate sale business. My husband and I are not new to the world of estate sales and will always be cognizant of the rules and expectations of each sale. Walking in to the circus sideshow that is a Margie Beegle Sale, we were greeted with the owner/cashier sitting behind her card table berating two women who failed to read or know about no credit card usage for sales under $75. An honest mistake, but did not warrant the verbal abuse onslaught they received. That should have been our clue to turn around and walk out. After a quick walk around, I picked up six items, and when I got into the view of the owner, she barked at me to put them on the "SOLD" table, which I did. A few moments later, a man and his wife were escorted out of the sale for breaking their strange and quite unreasonable rules. At that time, my husband had seen and heard enough and said he did not want to give them a dime of our money. I decided to keep two of the items and picked everything up off of the table to put them back. I passed a women who grabbed my arm as I walked into another room to put two items back and tried again when I returned the other two items. I told her I was not going to purchase them, but asked how much the remaining items were that I wanted to buy. She was ridiculously quiet and mumbled something indiscernible and pointed to the owner. I walked over, and the nasty owner boomed out, "officer, please remove the lady in the blue hat and this other guy out." Talk about being stunned and humiliated. My husband spun around and said, "what did we do?" Her reply... "you broke the rules." Apparently, the "SOLD" table means anything you place there, you must buy - it is not a "HOLD" table like every other sale we have visited. The irony of it is, you cannot walk around with your potential purchases and go room to room carrying them and deciding if it is indeed what you want to buy. Nope - onto the table it goes and it's yours. No ifs, ands or buts. The only other option is to be scolded like a child and removed from the premises. Horrible customer service. They are so rude! I had an experience where I placed a couple items on the hold table and when I was ready to pay, I decided to put one item back. Zero Stars. Let me guess - you walked into an estate sale, were insulted for no reason by the lady at the counter, and here you are reading other people's awful experience. My experience today: my partner and I walked into one of their estate sales. My partner brought two items to the cash registry; one of the items was not priced. When the lady at the registry gave her the total, my partner asked if she could put one of the items back. The large blonde lady at the registry then proceeded to call her "stupid" for not reading the rules and called the security guard to escort her out. I asked why she had to used such a derogatory term and she replied something along the lines of "she is stupid, and that's what I am going to call her".
