The Doctor isn't very friendly, but the office staff is worse. Very unprofessional. I won't be back.

If I could go negative a million I would. She should not be a doctor at all. Horrible doctor, unprofessional,disrespectful, rude , cares only about herself and the money, is a liar, talks down on the patient, treats the patient horrible, threatens the patient. She doesn't help the patient at all. You are in the waiting room longer than you are in the room. Got all the proof . Hope she loses her job. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Budman for over 10 years. She is one of the most caring doctors I've ever had. She's thorough and she is preventative, not reactive. I had Kaiser for a long time, which was not only a dreadful experience, but I felt like care at Kaiser is very reactive, they wait for issues to turn into problems and then address them--not my idea of preventative care. Their pharmacies are also human Zoos. There has been a few times when Dr. Budman made comments that people might be bothered by--but I think her comments were valid. For example, don't waste your doc's time by Googling symptoms and challenging their advice. They've spent years in education and practice for a reason. read more

I would never ever go to sutter especially to see Doctor Budman. She saw for three minutes or so and advised me to buy over the counter medication for the cold that I was suffering from. I was billed $300 for that visit from her. I put a case as she only saw me for short time and advised just to get the over the counter medicine. Then they made the bill to $200. Wow FRAUD!! Paying physician $200/$300 for them to say you can buy over the counter medication. I will be contacting medical board about the level of service that I received. There are other better doctors out there. Please research before you use this doctor and hospital. read more

If I could rate her a -10 I would!This woman is dreadful. She has a terrible bedside manner. She comes across as very rude. She treated me like I was only trying to get pain meds like I'm a pill popper! (I don't take meds- even prescribed ones, I hate meds) So ya- rude and treats people like junkies. All bad. I will amd have refused to see her because of these things. I do not appreciate being treated like crap when I'm looking for answers to my health. Horrible person. read more

Dr Budman is a caring Dr so don't want this review to be scathing. But really, the first time you can see me is 27 days after I call and no back up coverage. Time to find a new primary. Recepionist who took the call was so green, and unhelpful, made me wish I would've taken the survey. Also note to office, if someone has been coming for 8 years and painful ear pain, maybe time to refer to an ENT if you cannot see me for 27 days. read more

Dr. Budman has been my primary care physician for well over a decade and I trust her completely, admire her knowledge, willingness to research and thoughtful treatment direction and referral. My complex neurological disease has impacted my general health and Dr. Budman has helped me to manage my symptoms, address my other health issues and is straight forward with her conclusions regarding test results. Dr. Budman also understands my financial constraints and life challenges and has helped me create a treatment plan that is helping - All medical care is being challenged by Covid-19 and by the sheer number of patients each doctor is asked to serve-under stressful circumstance -and I thank Dr. Budman and her team at Sutter for their courage and ongoing assistance. read more

Doctor Budman was my physician for nearly two years and during that time I considered changing doctors every time I saw her. Technically, she seemed very capable and I have no doubt that she is a capable physician in terms of the practice of medicine. That said, I found her very difficult to handle as a personality, and those attributes àre equally as importànt as her skills! My own experience was of a difficult and imperious woman who would often jump to conclusions. Other times I could see compassion at work in her. All in all, I cannot recommend Dr Budman for patients with chronic illness, as she would not have the patience and tolerance to work with those people. I was forced to change most of my prescriptions to my neurologist. Dr Budman felt "uncomfortable" filling my pain meds and was concerned about treating neurological ailments. I have now changed physicians and am much happier! read more

Dr. Budman is an extremely professional physician; her medical training is without questions but more importantly she cares about each and every patient; you can tell when she looks you in the eye when asking for honest answers regarding your history. I had a problem finding a primary care physician; Dr. Budman is not a specialist, however, instead of simply telling me to find someone else i received two referrals from her office to physicians who might be able to help me with my health issues. This seemed to be clearly above and beyond the call of duty; even though i was not going to be a patient, she cared enough to try and find a physician to meet my needs. Dr. Budman & Staff: Thank you. I went to see dr budman for the first time on Monday 4/15. I had not been to the dr nor did I have a primary care physician, so I had a few things I mentioned to receptionist that I needed done and asked if they had a dr that could accommodate my needs and accepted my insurance (I did not expect to get all my needs met with one appointment). They set me up with dr Budman and my overall experience was not good. I agree with another Yelp reviewer stating she treated me like I was after pain medication and lacked bedside manner. She made me feel very awkward and uncomfortable, and dismissed some of my concerns. She talked over me and I felt like she didn't care to listen to what I had to say nor did she seem to take my concerns seriously. The medical assistants were friendly but the dr... not so much. She was very judgemental and I found that highly inappropriate. She also did things assbackwards in my opinion as I felt extremely uncomfortable talking with her while I was in nothing but a gown for the rest of my appointment, when that could have been the last part of the appointment. All in all, I did not have a good experience, I was not impressed, I did not feel like I was taken care of, and I will not be going back to see her or use her referrals. I went to her once after I'd moved to town from So Cal. I had urinary tract symptoms, and she looked at it under the microscope and told me I did not have one. I suffered with symptoms another 3 weeks, and decided to go back to my doctor in Los Angeles when I went there for a visit. He told me that she needed to do a blood test to be sure I did not have an infection....he did one and I did! Never again! She was pleasant enough, but so rushed she did not even have time to hear all of what was going on with me. A waste of my time and money! read more

Dr Budman has been my 96 year old fathers doctor for almost nine years now. I credit Dr Budman as one of the primary factors for that longevity. She is very patient with his difficulty hearing and has fine tuned his medications to the point that he is still capable of living on his own. If you are looking for a primary care physician I highly recommend Dr Budman.....if only more doctors were like her? read more
