Dr. Goodman is rude and doesn't listen when you speak. He will speak over you and not let you talk. Outside of Geri, his office staff is also rude. Not sure if he cares about his patients at all. He should have retired long ago. I have much more to say but I choose to be professional. read more

One star may be generous..... First visit ,I was forced to take a urine sample...lack of trust right there,he said it was only to test my sugars - B.S !!... later was misdiagnosed for something he "thought" i had but then had to go to the E.R. No apologies for that - got a pompous attitudinal response instead. Then I was scheduled for return visits every few months...(for what???!!) so he could get a paycheck. Then I was trying to refill prescription which I didn't know expired.....His secretary denied my refill because I had not visited in a while. Totally embarrassing! Horrible! For a year now, on several doctor appt occasions he is rude, disrespectful, doesn't let you talk, voices judge mental remarks about people including my family members, he was verbally abusive to me yesterday during my 14 year old son's appt that was the last straw! Also, he insists on making follow up appointments constantly and seems like it's just for the money, and threatened us that if we don't come he'll stop prescribing our medicines! read more

He's a great Doctor, he can be a little harsh but he gets the job done. What I liked most about him is that he tells it like it is. Really great staff there too, I felt like part of the family. Plus he's the only doctor in Rohnert Park that takes Tri Care insurance. read more

I was going to Dr Goodman for two years before leaving the area. He is a great doctor who seems to really knows his stuff. He tells it how it is which I thought I would hate but i grew to like his frankness. He has a great staff. He also is great at referring you to a specialist if you ask him to. I know some doctors aren't very willing to but he seems to be fine with specialist referrals. read more

Dr Goodman was my doctor for many years until this Tuesday when he demanded a $100 no show fee. It was not done on purpose and really cant remember the last time or if I've EVER missed an appointment. He knew I was out of medication which is critical for me to take. After several phone calls later I finally found a doctor available and was able to get me back on track. His practice is dated, they do everything old school, they don't take cc, you can't pay online, and mis-diagnosis problems. He also had me come in every 4 months which was unnecessary because my dosage never changed. He just wanted the money. Now I hear he charges you if you want your records transferred to another doctor. It's time for him to retire, because he is not that great. Not sure why I stayed there so long!!! read more

I will not return to this doctor, some reviews say he is frank and tells it like it is...I say he is rude and dismissive. He doesn't LISTEN and was no help to me at all. I would agree that he is a bit abusive. Don't dare question him ! He belongs to the Doctor is God category. I can't think of anything good to say about him. I started with Dr. Goodman after the Affordable Care Act forced me to find a new doctor. He is great. I finally feel like someone is taking an active interest in my care. He is direct and clear about everything. Not to mention that everyone else working there is just great. It's a great small practice and I feel lucky to be able to go there. read more

I would not recommend this Doctor to anyone. He is rude and mean. He was verbally abusive to me in a situation that was unprovoked. He insulted my fiance to my face. He refused to authorize a very medically necessary procedure. We had to get another general family Doctor to authorize an operation which Dr. Goodman refused to consider. The operation was successfully done at UCSF. read more

Dr. Goodman is a very angry and rude person and I can't recommend him, there are so many better doctors in the area, don't waste your time.

I will not be going back to this doctor. He is rude and does not listen to you. He did not address the issue I came in seeking help with, he was insulting and I would agree with Hiliary L. : abusive. If you want to be treated with disdain, he is your man. As for me, I will seek help elsewhere. I want to be treated with respect and listened to in regard to my health. If I could have given him a 1/2 star, I would have done so. Stay away unless you like someone to treat you like crap and then charge you for it. read more
