The view is AMAZING They have an amazing semi sweet reisling - nice crisp taste Service is good and they have it figured out for when they are busy

This is probably the fanciest vineyard I've been to. The building looks like a castle, the outdoors has amazing scenic views and the staff provide butler-like service,so the high price of wines on offer is well justified! Flights are pretty expensive ($24 for 3) but you get full glasses of select wines rather than tiny plastic cups,so it's worth it. Besides, all their wines are organic and the selection is quite big,so there's something for everyone. I personally really liked their semi-dry Riesling! Outdoor patio is friendly for a visit with pups! And one fun fact-we arrived as soon as they opened on a weekday by 11am,thinking we'll be the only day-drinkers there, but surprise surprise-there were at least 6 other cars full of wine enthusiasts haha. In a nutshell,I'd love to be back-and a special shoutout to Renee who helped me pick the wine I'd like to have a full glass of.

This place is so nice and the inside is so cozy. Definitely has an old world feel with a hint of modern. I love the cork mural behind the bar. There's a beautiful view when you sit outside. my husband and I got 2 flights to taste a variety of wines. So good. So relaxing to just sit and look at the water and rolling hills of grape vines. The only gripe is that below is the road and you can hear traffic but other than that it is a wonderful place!

This vineyard was recommended by an Uber driver in the area. The owners are the brothers from the show, "Oak Island." This place was huge and beautiful with beautiful views and delicious wine. Highly recommend!

Mari Vineyards is one of the most beautiful properties on Old Mission Peninsula! The wines are a bit pricier than at some of the other spots, but the views and priceless and the service is very professional.

This is my favorite place on the peninsula! It is so popular that it is so hit mess on tables and service. if you catch it just right when you get a nice table by the fire, it's one of the best experiences on the Peninsula! if you catch it when there's two tour buses there and a birthday party next to the fireplaces you won't be impressed Food/appetizers is good here and the wine is good and fairly priced. Timing is everything here .

Mari Vineyards is one of the most beautiful places. The view alone is worth a visit. There was plenty of seating and all with a beautiful view. Everyone really enjoyed their wine and the relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Nice view, friendly staff, over priced for what it is in my opinion. Plenty of outdoor seating, flow of the entry to the hostess station to the bar was inefficient.

    Archway to outside seating.

Beautiful winery! Cherry wine was delicious! Easy to find and not too far into the peninsula.

The service is spectacular and the wine is bar none the best. So many distinctive and unique choices. They also have one of the best views on the peninsula, and if you are there in the winter when it's cold and snowy the dining room is so cozy.

They have a great view, good charcuterie board, and a few good wines. I wouldn't say their wines were very good and had little flavor. The service really wasn't friendly or over accommodating. When you get there you stand in a line and they take their time to just ask you what you want. There's not really a lot of help to it, or guidance on what to do. The outside chairs could use some work- if you sit on the picnic tables it feels like you're going to crash thru. The chairs then block the view to you and it's on a steep hill.

You come to MV for the gorgeous setting, not the overpriced wine from grapes that aren't from Michigan. The building, land, and views are stunning. The wine's not bad, honestly. It's pretty tasty. Most of the bottles are out of a teacher's budget :-( I really love getting wine that's all local, so to find out that they aren't a truly Michigan product was disappointing. Will it stop me from visiting when I'm in the area? Most likely not. It's too beautiful.

Beautiful winery, inside and out. Views and style were amazing. Wasn't a huge fan of the wine for the price.

Ask the Community - Mari Vineyards

    Are they dog friendly?

Hi Cassidee! We welcome dogs on our patio so long as they are leashed and looked after. There is a dog run area with waste bags across the parking lot from our building, and we have water dishes and treats available!

    Can you ship to NY?

Hi Valima! We can. Any orders you'd like to place can be done on our website.

Are these wines available in Washington state. Specifically, Western Washington/Pacific side of the Cascades? Kathleen Guest

Hi Kathleen! At this time we are unable to ship to Washington state. We recommend following our Facebook page as we will update ship available states there. https://www.facebook.com/marivineyards/

As you enter you will encounter all things cherry as there are many different foods, drinks, and other items for purchase. It may feel a little overwhelming with the amount of things in the store! My family and I got to enjoy various samples of all things cherry, my favorite being the cherry gummy bears. We headed over to the wine counter in which we did two wine tastings for $1 each. The staff member who served us was knowledgeable and informative. Both of the wines I got were delicious! Overall we had a great experience and would encourage anyone to make this a stop while visiting the downtown Traverse City shops!
