If I could give this provider a zero I would. Not that I needed hand holding, needed to be babied or anything like that. But to be actually be treated as a patient and advised like one. This woman treated me as if it was a bother to see patients for her. As if she was swatting a fly away. It is no wonder that an appointment was an available very easily and she is still accepting new patients. However, I will say her staff is quite pleasant, I wonder how often the turnover is on the staff. I do see some good reviews here. I wonder which provider they saw is because that provider described is clearly nowhere to be found. I can't believe the ratings on Maria Adolfo. I have been in Las Vegas for over 10 years and have yet to find a PCP. I am getting up there in age and decided I probably needed to start with an annual checkup. I arrived right on time despite trying to get there early. It's kind of embarrassing but I could not find the office. I had to call once I was in the complex, even after driving around multiple times. The front desk helped me out by telling me to look for Port of Subs and they would be right next to it on the corner. If facing Port of Subs, it's on the left of it, right on the rounded corner. I went in and filled out my paperwork. The front desk girl was very friendly. I was actually seen within 15-20 minutes of my appointment. Wow! Any other office I've been to in Vegas is like 1-2 hour wait! I was super impressed by this alone. The staff was friendly and professional. Dr. Maria Adolfo was amazing. She took her time and actually listened to me and my concerns. I've had so many doctors in LV that just want to rush me out the door and that can be quite frustrating after waiting 2 hours for them. She was personable and very kind. She seems very concerned with the overall health of her patients. This was my first experience and I really think I have found my new PCP. Very grateful. read more

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with this company has been so awful that I feel compelled to warn others. I've called three times, and each time, the staff has demonstrated shocking incompetence. First Call: I was placed on hold and left hanging indefinitely. No one ever came back to assist me. Second Call: The same thing happened again--placed on hold with no return. It was incredibly frustrating. Third Call: I finally got through to a third person and explained my previous struggles. Instead of addressing my concerns, she placed me on hold and, predictably, never returned. This isn't just a one-off issue. After my terrible experience, I checked their Google reviews and saw how low their ratings are. Clearly, I am not the only one facing these problems. She never once asked me how I was, and I actually needed for her to ask me that question. She talked over me and SCOLDED me for not keeping timely appointments. I always try to see the other side of any situation, but even now, two months later, I'm still feeling bullied and disrespected. Dr Adolfo is very professional, knowledgeable and well informed on current medical practices. She is prompt and doesn't keep you waiting for your appointment. She is on top of everything with openness and honesty. She treats the whole person, not just the symptoms you present. The office staff is courteous and friendly. Making appointments, follow ups are all done professionally. I don't understand some of the other reviews. She is not a hand holder or tells you what you want to hear. Terrible primary care! Do not go! She and office staff are rude and unhelpful. Uncooperative and stalled my referral to see an orthopedist after I broke my leg, which delayed my surgery and treatment. Said I need to schedule an office visit with her, but I will not be allowed in her office, unless vaccinated. Was kept on hold, hung up on, and calls sent directly to voicemail. Had an appointment with Dr. Adolfo for check up. She was nice, pleasant, will not hold your hand, but is honest, frank, and will take care of your needs. Labs, X-ray, she was on top of it. I am satisfied and will keep her as long as I am happy with my new doctor. Her staff was civil and formal, not really friendly. Her clinic is not too hard to find, and has ample parking. This place is the most terrible doctors I've been to ever, they're unprofessional, gives off and idc about you attitude , by far the worst experiences I've had with a doctor who's being paid to "take care" of patients when all she wants to do is collect money. They set an appointment for me to go in and made me wait 45 minutes just to tell me my lab results isn't in yet and when it does come in we can go over it on the phone. Spent 25 dollars and wasted my time, then when I requested for two different blood work and said they put it in, they actually didn't and I only got one lab work, called me to tell me later on that my blood work is in and that Maria adolfo will be giving me a call later in the day at 4. Waited till 4 and nothing.. I called the next day to let them know I didn't get a called and told me it was actually rescheduled till aug 5th, 2 and a half weeks later, so I had to call and find out for myself that it's been rescheduled. I was referred here after going to the ER. My leg is numb and I get shooting pains in my right leg. It's very weak and at times my back feels like it's going to break. I can't tolerate the pain but can not stand pain medication as I always feel like I'm getting sick. I waited over an hour with my daughter. She came in and yelled at me asking why I was there. I explained why. She said "I'll give you pain med and a shot. Besides that I don't know why u bothered coming to see me." Spent less than five min and yelled at me right in front of my five year old. I started crying after she left (which I never do but In so much pain). I just want a solution. She didn't even examine me or anything. I've never been treated so badly in my life. I was shocked when I took the med to the pharmacy and it was 120 pills of strong pain med! And they wonder why people are addicted to pills in America. I plan on finding out the problem and writing someone about the treatment received here as well as the attitude to give someone that many pills, that I barely use bc guess what...... I wish I would have yelped her first! I don't usually write reviews anywhere about my experience unless I'm extremely WOWWED! Or extremely disappointed. From start to finish.... I arrived in the office and stood in front of a window with a receptionist like most medical offices. When I got to the window I said "Hi!", only to be ignored for a good minute. No response. She apparently was too busy writing to acknowledge me even though I was only a foot and a half away. When she finally looked up, it was at the clipboard where I signed in (no instructions from her either). All she said was,"Sandy, fill out this new patient forms and when you're done, I need your insurance and ID". Already I felt uneasy about the appointment. When I was done filling out the forms I was called in by the nurse to a room. The furniture was old and outdated. At first the nurse was cold and monotone until I cracked a few jokes. After that, she lightened up and became more pleasant. She asked me a few more questions and took my blood pressure. That was the extent of any pleasantry I received at the office. Next came in the doctor with her laptop. She asked why I was there and I explained that I needed a new PCP. Also because I'm over 40 and wanted to make sure my body will make it to 60. Lol! I expressed one of my major concerns and she basically just shrugged it off like it had no importance. It was important to me and the fact that she brushed it off completely sent my blood to a boil. I should have left immediately but I wanted to see this thru. I've already paid for the appointment and this could remind me of the qualities I wouldn't want in my next PCP. She checked my heart and also lungs. Then she told me....You need to get a blood test, mammogram, etc... She then gets up with her laptop and was about to leave. I said.... But wait... I still have some more concerns. I told her what it was and she had such a condescending way of responding. She told me to wait for the results. And done. She was out the door. I felt nothing was accomplished. I felt rushed and belittled. I've worked in a doctors office before and I can understand the doctor being frustrated with what seems like stupid or repetitive questions but at least the doctor I worked for answered the questions the best he could. There was no hint of compassion or honest care. It was almost robotic and just plain cold. I'm going somewhere else. Even if they tell me the same thing she did but with a smile? Well then.... I never seen a doctor who do not have sympathy to a patient. In the way of talking to a patient. She's forced my dad to take the Covid-19 vaccination or else she will not release my father form. On the first day we visited her. She was pointing finger to her employee and at the same time she shouted her because she thought my father were already vaccinated. I just moved here in the Las Vegas area from out-of-state. I was trying to find a Specialist Doctor that can continue the same care I got from my original Doctor that I had for over 20 years. I was so happy to have Visited Dr Adolfo's office after a couple of really bad experience from my first local Doctor. Dr Adolfo took all of my old record informations and ordered new Lab works and spend time to compare her diagnosis. She has always given me time during my several visits and always listened to all my concerns. I would recommend her to everyone that needs a good doctor. read more

I am baffled by my visit to Dr. Adolfo's Ft. Apache office yesterday. I can't believe her complete disinterest in my appointment. I can accept waiting 30 minutes past my appointment time because it seems like most medical offices are running behind, however the rest of my experience was unacceptable. A nurse checked my weight, blood pressure, and pulse. When the doctor finally saw me, she came into the room and sat behind her table with her laptop for the ENTIRE appointment. I have never been to visit a primary care doctor that didn't listen to my heart and lungs, check my nose and throat, etc. I described my symptoms to her and she diagnosed me with a sinus infection. That seemed reasonable, but I still don't understand why she didn't look at my physical symptoms. She prescribed an anti-biotic and something to help me when I am feeling dizzy. I took the script to the pharmacy. I got a call later telling me that she forgot to include the dose on the anti-dizziness medication. I received a second call from the pharmacy telling me that my anti-biotic could have a very serious interaction with another medication I take on a regular basis. (I know she knew I was taking this medication because she asked if I was still using it.) The pharmacy attempted to contact the doctor several times today to recommend a different kind of anti-biotic, but she didn't return their call. On my way home this afternoon, I stopped at the doctor's office to find out what was going on with my script. The girl behind the desk told me the doctor would call them at the end of the day. I expressed my frustration with the doctor as well. When I returned home, the pharmacy called me to let me know that Dr. Adolfo had called them and CANCELLED the script for the anti-biotic! The doctor told the pharmacist to tell me to take Sudafed. During the appointment, the doctor had SPECIFICALLY told me NOT to take Sudafed because it can cause dizziness. I have never been treated like this! I will not be returning to her office, and I suggest that you find someone else to treat you medically. read more

The staff was great until I met Dr Adolfo. She did not read my file before she came in she had no idea that I had a broken bone and she basically treated me as if I were a prescription drug shopper instead of being in pain. I was in a car accident a week and a half before I went to see her and all that she read was that my neck had whiplash ..she didn't even realize I had a broken rib when I told her I was in pain and needed something for it at night when I sleep . she almost would not give me anything and then treated me as if I were a druggie when I ask for it and then I said "you do realize my rib is broken "and she said "oh you have a broken rib?" the practitioner knew my story yet the doctor had no idea who she was even treating. This doctor made us so angry!! We we're looking for a new Primary Care Physician but My Blood Pressure spiked to the highest range because of her!! Just came out from her office with my husband in a separate room but we can both hear how rude she was! Her voice was so loud that other staff can hear her too. She threw a fit on me because of my surname on my insurance card and driver's license (i changed my last name on license because i got married) She kept on talking about it that i should change it blah blah blah LiKe a mother talking like a sermon to a 9 yr old daughter. Maria Adolfo spoke to me in a demeaning manner as if I were stupid and I hold an Associates Degree in Health and am also an MA. She was impatient and did not address any of my concerns. She was rude and rushed me out of her office. She does not follow through and clearly makes her patients feel as though she doesn't care at all and are an annoyance. I took my 77 year old mother to see Dr. Adolfo for routine check up this week and was very disappointed and upset with how my mother was treated. Dr. Adolfo sat across the exam room with her laptop on the exam table and never examined my mother. Dr. Adolfo was rude, condescending, and simply acted as if we were a bother to her. She ended my mother's visit with "Can I help you with anything else". Our answer was NO as she really did nothing for us in the first place. It took me a month to get a referral that the office sent incorrectly multiple times. It took dozens of calls from me, my family, and staff at the imaging center to get this referral. The last time they sent it they wrote it in sharpie with an incorrect birthdate and diagnostic code. The doctor is just awful. She is rude, unkind, doesn't listen, interrupts you, and writes reports incorrectly. The office smells, it's visibly dirty, and the bathroom is downright frightening as I had to walk down a dimly lit corridor surrounded by boxes. I have been in the healthcare field for a while and knows a few MDs in the field because of my profession, but I've never encountered such an awful person when it comes to patients. Adolfo has no clue of what caring and listening means or about. She is a typical MD who is obnoxious, rude, and talks down on her patients. I am the living proof with my mom, who is 61 y/o, and only seen her twice. The first appointment is no different, mom thought she'd give it one more try. TOTAL FAIL! The only reason why we switched from Dr Kimberly Adams to her (which is a super bad decision) is because she's Filipino and my mom wants someone who can speak the same language as us/her, so she can speak freely. Adolfo is RUDE and a shame to the healthcare industry (maybe not), but I definitely definitely WILL not recommend her for any of your family members or mine!
