I left several messages for her and she has never returned my calls. When I decided to switch to another dentist, I have never been able to obtain my records. They claim they don't have them despite the fact that I personally brought them when I switched to this office. I know that the staff is mostly concerned about how much money each patient can generate. Stay away!!

The Rochlen's office is clean and well equipped and *doesn't smell like nitrous oxide.* The staff are all friendly and professional. I see Dr Michelle Rochlen most frequently but her Dad, Dr Gary Rochlen, has also treated me--always without fuss, drama, or pain. When I broke a tooth during an extremely bumpy flight one afternoon, Dr Gary stayed with his assistant and saw me that day even though my arrival time made him late to a holiday dinner with his family. He tried to save what he could, but ultimately had to get that tooth started for a crown that evening. Dr Michelle met me at the gym one Saturday for a quick peek when I thought something terrible had happened. I'll never forget these events and will always be grateful to them. Patients first. At the same time, I've never had the feeling that I was paying for someone's lavish lifestyle at this practice. Work is recommended *when needed,* NOT for an upsell. Every hygienist and assistant I've seen - and I've been coming here for years with my weird teeth - has been gentle and thorough. I always feel a bit guilty eating that first meal after a cleaning and ruining all their work. Front office staff are all fully engaged and prepared to deal with any issue you might bring. After having issues all my life getting quality restorations (fillings and crowns) I found this place. Friendly staff, great quality restorations. Silber's assistant Sharon is so good at making temporary crowns, I'd be inclined to leave it in, if not for the material and cement not being permanent, lol! I've had small issues with repairs not holding up (rare occasion) but I attribute that to not wearing a bite guard at night (I'm a grinder) and if you have crowns that's a must! And everyone's mouth is different, we all chew differently. Your teeth also move around throughout your life (muscles and tendons reposition and re-tension). Plus, the deeper the filling, more likely for issues. And the more times a tooth has been worked on, it becomes more sensitized and the work becomes more complicated. He never pushes for more work than is necessary. He's made sure I'm pain free in any case. Even gave me a free replacement crown when it cracked (I have a heavy bite and wasn't wearing bite guard at that time). If you ever have discomfort after a restoration, just go back and they will do their best to make it right for free.

Once I was able to go, I called the office in March 2024 to schedule a cleaning appointment and was told I couldn't due to a hadn't had a cleaning in two years (it actually wasn't 2 years but getting close to it). I spoke with the office manager and she informed me that it was the office policy that one would have to see the dentist first at a separate appointment before scheduling a cleaning if one had not had a cleaning in 2 years. I have never heard of this type of policy!! Again, I was a patient there for over 50 years. I asked the office manager to look at my chart and my situation but she didn't care. She just kept saying "it's the office policy". I was frustrated and hung up on her. The next thing I know I received a letter from the new owner of the practice informing me that I was dismissed from his office. I did nothing wrong to deserve this. The only thing I did was, I told the office manager she didn't care. Which she apparently did not. I fully know if it was the past owner, which I loved, she would of looked into my situation and I would have been seen for a cleaning without being seen first by the dentist at a separate appointment. It's a shame this new owner, not even knowing me, decided to dismiss a long time patient all because I said the office manager did not care. On a side note, I was able to schedule a cleaning appointment with my husband's office the next day without seeing the dentist first at a separate appointment . They had never heard of an office having a two year cleaning policy. I guess everything happens for a reason and the moral of this story is: if you don't care that an office manager or new owner of this office does not care about their patients then go there.
