Been a really LONG time since we have eaten here so decided to stop in once again and give a try .. our waitress was friendly and did a great job- the fresh bread with olive oil very good my husband got the spaghetti Bolognese his favorite and was not impressed -- our 2 dishes were swimming in sauce my guess to make up for the lack of meat - i had the tortellini with peas and prosciutto in a cream sauce swimming in sauce again to hide the fact there was 4 minute pieces of ham in this dish - the waitress did take off 10% of the price ($1.70 ) off a $17 dish -- it was very overpriced for what we got and its now on my been there done that list -- salads that came with dinner good but small and if I got the grouper francaise which was my first choice for $21.99 i would have had to pay $1.50 up charge to sub out pasta for veggies -- disappointing meal read more

Ate there twice recently. Once for pizza and once for a few pasta dishes. Both were awesome! Pizza had a thin crisp crust and delicious sauce and cheese. My party of 6 just flew in from the Midwest for a family vacation, and we didn't know where to eat. This place was right by our hotel and still open at 8PM. Service was great, and very attentive. We ordered pepperoni pizza, primavera pasta, and two chicken dishes--the parmigiana and the piccata. It all tasted delicious. We also ordered dessert--tiramisu and a frozen limoncello sorbet. When asked if they make the dessert in house, they said no, but dessert was the only thing they don't make. They just have the grated stuff that you get in any pizzeria which I think is a copout. Even Olive Garden has freshly ground Parmesan cheese. In town visiting a friend from Chicago. This restaurant dining area has very upscale feel for a restaurant in a shopping plaza. We were greeted, sat and served by friendly accommodating staff. Our waitress bought out fresh bread, (We didn't ask, but tasted like it was freshly made.). with olive oil, vinegar and spices in a dish for dipping. We ordered calamari , and cheese sticks as appetizers. The calamari was fresh and melted in my mouth. The cheese sticks were huge maybe 4 inches long by 1 inch thick with a light breading. We also ordered a meatball pepperoni pizza sauce and the toppings were fresh and seasoned perfectly. I plan on returning on my next visit to try other menu items. read more

They ask you to tip so I assumed it was going to the driver, then later I come to find out (after reading it again) that the whole tip went to the restaurant and not the driver! The fact that this place does not have more stars is beyond me. This place is absolutely delicious!! The first time my brother and I went here we got a pepperoni roll and a pizza. This time we decided we were going to try some pasta. The pasta fagioli soup was so nice my brother had a nice size house salad. The waitress was kind enough to have the kitchen make a chicken scampi which was my brothers favorite and I had the seafood Italiano. Finally! Pass by here every day finally stopped to try it and I am so glad I did. The interior could use some touches to give it the lovely atmosphere that the food deserves. My mail started with homemade Italian bread served a balsamic basil olive oil dipping plate in the shape of a heart. Nice way to start off my meal! Although the pizzas that I saw others enjoying looked very, very good ; I choose the chicken piccata. It is usually served on pasta but I asked for penne on the side with red sauce and they' very graciously accommodated my request. It is served with your choice of salad or soup and I chose the salad which was nicely adorned with roasted red peppers and olives . My chicken was wonderfully tender with a lovely buttery lemon sauce studded with capers. Very good! The next time I come back I can't wait to try some of seafood dishes that serve . Give it a try I am sure you will like it. Update! Oh my another place where it just depends on the day you go. So this night I had chicken Parmesan an easy dish to make . The chicken came out too brown, almost black it looked like it had been fried and then refried. I am not saying they did that I'm saying it looked like that and the edges of the chicken were in fact black and burnt. The salad was delicious as usual and my friend enjoyed his dish I did not enjoy mine. I did not eat it. It just was not good. I ate everything but my chicken I did tell the waitress that I felt that it was way overcooked I didn't want it for free I simply wanted them to know it just was not good I had asked to see the owner they said he was not there I actually had seen him there . The last time I ate there I was so complementary he offered to sit with me and was very chatty the food was not up to par tonight and he just did not want to deal with it. This is substantially lower than my opinion of this restaurant. We tried again ! Feb 2019 They changed their awesome salad to iceberg. The piccata & grouper francese was heavy handed lemon and almost inedible. Waitress offered another side of pasta w/ red sauce since the gross lemon sauce tendered the 1st batch inedible pasta but they reserved the original pasta mixed up with red sauce. Ugh. Went there with a party of six for a family lunch. My mother had been there a couple of times and wanted us to try it. The place is casual with an open kitchen to watch the pizzas being tossed. The service was very friendly and competent. I had the eggplant parmesan sandwich. It was very good with a delicious toasted roll and tasty sauce. I really liked it. My sister had a meatball sub and liked it. Two people had spaghetti and meatballs and gave good feedback. My daughter had a slice of pizza. It was huge and she loved it.
