We moved in the area and wanted pizza. So gave this place a try. The best part they delivery you don't have to go through Uber. My husband is picky he's from NY. If you say pizza is NY style it better be! He did ask to make it thin. I had the supreme and he had the pepperoni and side of mozzarella and salad. It was surprisingly good! I ordered a small pizza, wings and a Stromboli. Only was given a small pizza and wings. This restaurant is so quick to take someone's money but not quick to make sure they give you the correct order. Staff was not focus clearly. I didn't realize til I got home. My Stromboli was missing. I Called that establishment and no one answered the phone. Very unprofessional. If I could give them a blank star I would cause a one star rating is a little much for them. read more

I've lived in the area for 2 years and have gone here over a dozen times, their pizza is absolutely amazing and I crave it regularly. My family has gotten all kinds of toppings and no one's ever been disappointed, smiles all around. I've only tried the garlic knots once and they were delightful. The employees are always super friendly and very efficient with completing orders in a timely manner. Not New York pizza at all. It's hit or miss sometimes it's halfway decent other times not so good. It's edible.

Good is excellent, best pizza since I moved to Florida. Service quick and easy. Ambience is what you'd expect in a strip mall restaurant.

This was our first time here and so glad we took a chance on a new place. Ordered takeout which was a medium sized supreme pizza, a Greek salad, and a cannoli. The pizza was very tasty with fresh ingredients, the sauce is very good, and the thin crust was perfect for us. Unless they gave us the wrong size, the pizza seemed extremely large. The Greek salad was really good, but not the usual ingredients I'm used to. Homemade dressing, large portions of tomato, seasoned feta, and black olives with romaine lettuce. Glad to know their restaurant is close so I can swing by and do a repeat order. Now the cannoli was okay, but I have had better. This is one lady's opinion and maybe the next batch will be better. read more

We found this place on Yelp, while looking for something to eat. It was really close to where we were staying so we decided to try it. Upon walking in, we saw what they had on display and ordered something with different type of meats, I can't remember the exact name, but it looked like a stuffed roll a big one. It was very yummy and filling. There were 2 people working and they were nice and fast we were in an out in less then 10 min. We ordered to go. I went into this pizza place ordered the lunch special the customer service was good. The girl at the counter was prompt. She gave me the pizza with one of the slices crust hanging out of the paper bag. This made it hard to carry and place in my car for my ride home. The pizza where do I start. Flavorless and bland. Lukewarm when i got home.I live less than 5 minutes away. This is the second time trying this pizza restaurant and it is by far the worst pizza place I've been too! This is nothing close to NY pizza. When i came in the first thing I noticed was how the staff is unsanitary, same person was handling the money and the food, saw no hand washing going on and the people handling your food do not wear face coverings. One large for 13 bucks and when I asked about sides like garlic knots they said their guy in the kitchen had left since they were about to close even though it was an hour and 20 before they actually closed so they didn't have any sides. What I found about this pizzeria is that the guy who makes the pizza during the day makes a great pie. Real NY style but whoever makes it at night is not so good. So I would say get it during the day but not at night. Of course it depends on how you like your pizza. We like it thin and a little crispy with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. I'm sure the food would've been decent if the server didn't display the most ignorant attitude from the time my family and I walked in the door. It was 40 minutes until closing and before they served us he sat and argued with his employee who was going to ring up the order. I asked for a Stromboli with only steak and cheese and he said he doesn't have that. I said ok if you don't want to make it then just say so. We then asked for a Gyro and asked if the meat was fresh and he said yeah I'll go out and kill it fresh. He clearly wasn't trying to be funny but completely cynical in his response. When we finished ordering he asked for here or to go and we said for here and he said look at 9pm we close and that's it. I said to him look I'm not trying to be here all night, I've been driving and just wanted to eat a couple slices and not hold you up. Which he then proceeded to continue to be rude and say my guy in the back is ready to go. At that point I was at the point of getting ready to get out of character so I just decided that he clearly didn't want my business or money and left. If my kids were not with me I'm sure I'd have choice words but it wasn't worth the energy. Awhhhhh, I love it when places claim to have real NY pizza. Have any of these folks ever even been to NY? lol---No way is this place a four or five star NY pizza place. Now do not get me wrong, it is not the worse pizza I have ever had. (even though the crust was burnt on my slice which is a big "No, No" for me) However, this is nowhere near four or five stars. It is good for NY style I suppose with that extra greesy, oily cheese on top but the crust is bland and the sauce is just average. Sammy's and Pavarotti's are way better. I find it interesting that the real NY places run by Italian families have less stars. Perhaps Floridians like other types of pizza? I do not know and am at a loss here. On the visit I also bought an order of Garlic Knots and they were not great at all. Another thing to note is the location. I dropped my initial three star review to two stars for that. I was warned this is a bad neighborhood. I was literally pretty paranoid walking from my car to the shop. I find this interesting since I do not scare easily. I had to think on that for sure since I live and work in the inner city. On the walk from my car rental to the door of the Pizzeria I was approached by four homeless guys and a shady drug dealer guy who tried to sell me a laptop. (WTH????) The restaurant itself is small and was kind of dingy and dirty upon my visit. What really bothered me though was how unfriendly the staff members were here. If I was on the fence before, the rude staff pushed me over. Customer service counts. I would never go back. Sorry, I love Sammy's and will stick to them especially since the atmosphere is so much nicer. read more
