There is always tons of produce, plus other offerings such as local baked goods, eggs, and other food / drink items. I would say about 1/2 to 2/3 of the market is produce and the rest are the other types of vendors. I love that there is always good deals for fresh fruits and vegetables at the market and everything is reasonably priced while still getting to support local vendors. All the vendors are friendly and helpful when buying from them. There is a large variety of unique veggies including ones we see in most big-chain grocery stores but also more unique Asian veggies and unique mushroom varieties. I highly reccomend stopping by if you get the chance!

So I stopped over at my friend's place a couple of days ago and she let me try the most AMAZING homemade hummus and I was ridiculously surprised when I heard that she got it from the Stockton Farmers' Market. I had gone to the one at the Stonecreek Village on the weekend and was EXTREMELY disappointed. But that's a completely different story. So I decided to check out the one at the Weberstown mall, hoping that it would be different. And boyyyy was it! And thank GOD it was! It's located right behind in the back parking lot of the Weberstown mall and the parking is super easy to get as it's right next to the huge cluster of tents in the UEI college parking lot. From ice cream to baked goods to olive oil and philly cheesesteaks and hotdogs, they have EVERYTHING here! I found Hummus Heaven almost instantly! There was some dude playing the fiddle passionately while singing right in front of his booth (really strange in my opinion). He had a huge variety of homemade hummus types from lemon, beet, to artichoke. Anyway, I want to go on and on about Hummus Heaven on here, but if you're still curious I've written a separate review for his yelp page. My favorite is their variety of delicious fruits. I went to the tent where it was $1.50/lb for a mix of fruits including white peaches, nectarines, apricots, plums, etc. They were all sooooo ridiculously sweet and cheap at the same time! I paid $3.75 for 6 different fruits! And they give you a bunch of samples if you'd like. The people who work here are super friendly too. I'm really sad I didn't discover this place earlier because it's so awesome! They're here over the summer months from 8 am to 1 pm and it's not too crowded. Come get your veggies, fruits, ice cream, olive oil, whatever you want here! They have practically everything and it's great!

If something is $2 a lb, and it comes out to $2.14, they'll just round it to $2.00 even if it loses them 14 cents. Majority of things sold here are organic, but even those that aren't are held to California's extremely strict agricultural standards. I was so happy when they started staying open yesterday round. Sure in the winter rainy season there are less vendors, but many still show up every Sunday and Thursday. The fruit here lasts longer than that bought in the stores. I'll buy strawberries at target and the next day, there'll be mold on them. At this farmers market, I'll buy strawberries and they'll last until the farmers market on the next Sunday. Seriously, the fruit is so big and juicy. The fish is so fresh. The vegetables have that perfect crunch. Even if I don't need anything, I'm always stop to get a bundle of fresh cilantro. It helps make any meal better. It's a really nice open air market.

Customer service is great as well. I havent gotten the gentlemans name who works the counter, but he is always super helpful and is in a forever great mood. The guy behind the booth, I believe was the owner and he was explaining that their olive oil is custom pressed from their 100-year-old manzanillo olive trees which gives it a unique flavor, he also explained that the trees are dry farmed which contributed to the flavor too. I agreed and went on Tuesday. When I arrived the place was very hard to locate. There is no sign or anything, it seems to be a private house. I called the number provided on their website and spoke to the lady again and she said they aren't open to the public and that they only accept cash and wanted me to leave it under the mat. Then why tell me to come Tuesday and that it was preferred to you?? She then said she would give me a call back to let me know if anyone else is there to help me. She never called me back, I gave her a few calls trying to reach her and it seems like she blocked me or is refusing to answer my calls Is that how you treat costumers? I normally don't write reviews but this was the worse experience I've had. I drove 45 mins plus for nothing and just to gain this experience. Do not tell your costumers to come on a day where you aren't even present and then GHOST them. You lost my business along side multiple family members and friends. I hope you fix this problem and fix your website so it doesn't give FALSE information to future costumers. Please fix yourselves and this problem.
