I am very fortunate to find this place for my laser hair removal. It is hard to find a place where…read morethey also treat darker skin tones well and take the time to explain all the procedures step by step. Everything is tailored to your needs and you and the doctor discuss the right amount of treatments for the best results. I have been going back here several times already and each time I was treated wonderfully. After the first treatment I already saw results but by the third you clearly see so much improvement that you wonder why you didn't go here earlier. The pain from the procedure is minimal(I did my neck) and the aftercare steps are very clear. The place is of course licensed and won awards before which you can see for yourself when you go in. Very clean place. Dr. Ram and the staff are so caring and welcoming, that I will always go to them for other procedures which they provide a wide range of. Go check them out Update: It has been a couple more months now and my neck still has no hair in the spots treated. Well worth the money in my opinion, the hassle of shaving it every morning was tedious and very hurtful with the razors, it pays for itself in the long run. I am certainly going back a few more times though to continue the rest of my treatment, just been on vacation so wasn't able to get my last one in time. The crew is very helpful with working with your schedule and fitting you in on certain days which I am very thankful for. Many deals and payment options for the laser hair removal as well, and if it is your first time, certainly try it out, it is cheaper and very effective. You can stop whenever but you won't after you see the results so quickly. Be a better version of yourself and keep in mind that they offer more than just laser hair removal.

They deleted my Google review... so here it is again:…read more I had a very negative experience at this laser hair removal med spa and ultimately decided to stop going. During one of my sessions, I was severely burned in a specific area, which was very painful. The injury made me lose trust in the amount of safety I had during treatments. I am unsure still why it occurred because I was told that the puss open wound, was due to a hair that was ingrown and became infected... which I quickly learned was not what was going on. In addition, I felt uncomfortable with the staffing of technicians situation. While many other females worked there, there was only one laser technician available, and he was male. He performs Brazilian laser hair removal on female clients, but when I checked the website after a few treatments and curiosity, did not offer the same service to male clients, which in hindsight sight felt unprofessional and inappropriate to me being that if a female wants a Brazilian, she has no choice but to have a male technician. An hour before my appointments, I applied numbing cream on my bikini line and my entire Brazilian area with plastic wrap over the areas. At the beginning of my appointment, he wiped my numbing cream off from my Brazilian area very invasively without even asking if I was okay with that or giving me the option if I could wipe it myself before the lasering. The reason could be so he removes all of the product off completely before lasering, but with ONLY a male tech available and as a female patient who is basically blindfolded being touched in that vulnerable way, I should have 100% been given more options for my comfort. I was asked to remove my bra while wearing a medical gown that opens in the front. The laser treatment was only for my underarms, and the area was fully accessible through the sides/sleeves of the gown. There was no medical reason for me to remove my bra. As a result, my chest was exposed, which made me feel very uncomfortable and vulnerable. This situation felt completely unnecessary, and it could have been easily avoided. Between the physical injury and the discomfort surrounding the treatment environment, I chose not to return again. I would strongly encourage others considering this spa to think about your comfortability levels when getting vulnerable areas lasered by a male technician, to ask detailed questions about safety protocols, and how client comfort is prioritized before making an appointment.

UPDATE: DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR DEBIT CARD! Please,…read morealways use a credit card so you can easily dispute fraudulent charges. I did not go to my appointment, I understood the 50% charge, that's fine, whatever, even though I thought I could get a regular massage and then was told I couldn't after the fact(story below). However, they charged my card as opposed to my already paid for package(that is set to expire shortly), when I called to correct the charge, I was informed it had to be charged on my card, that I couldn't use my package that would've paid for the whole service to cover half of the cost of service as the penalty. I asked for language in the contract to point to the explained this policy, they insisted it was there. After reading through EVERYTHING this is not stated anywhere, I work in contract law and am good at reading these things, it isn't stated anywhere, so they blatantly lied and the manager refused to speak to me. There is no one in corporate to speak to either. So, not only am I out the two packages I can't use (almost $200), I'm also out (fraudulently) $52 on top of that. I've spent $1,000's at this place over the past decade, I will now never return and I am reporting this franchise for fraud through every possible avenue i have available to me. BEWARE of giving these people you're information. FIRST POST: Don't mention pregnancy if you're only a few weeks and want a massage, ask your doctor first, if they clear you, don't mention it. I stupidly did when making an appointment, thinking "ah when I hear back from my doctor, I can easily switch back" I was lead to believe I could just have a regular massage (since I was waiting to hear back from my doctor to be sure) WRONG. Was told at first it was fine, I received a call back saying they will not, despite my doctors clearance, give me a regular massage. I made the appointment same day, so I am stuck having to pay for the appointment. On top of that, I have to pay extra for a crappy prenatal massage or I can't use my remaining credits that expire shortly and a refund or courtesy extension was denied. Go to an actual professional if your pregnant or don't mention a few weeks of pregnancy. Also, be very clear when making these appointments, if you get misleading information and then want to cancel because you were mislead, you will still be required to pay 50% of the total cost for the appointment!!

First things first, it is incredibly hard to find a surgical dermatologist. In this field it often seems like aesthetics over everything. Before the pandemic ruined everyone's life I was being seen at 2 practices in north jersey - the first one didn't seem to understand why I would be bothered that my alopecia spots weren't healing and the second practice stopped taking insurance after my second appointment. As each injection is hundreds of dollars lmao that promising relationship ended quickly. Healthcare for the rich indeed. For the last 5 years I've been managing the patchiness on my own to inconsistent effect. Recently, another unrelated issue requiring surgery kicked me into high gear to find a new provider. I sought recs from my local FB group, friends and family, etc but they all kept leading me down cottage skincare and other lanes. It was actually a good old-fashioned Google search that led me to Dr. Patel. Bravo on winning the SEO game! From the moment I called (and rescheduled thrice due to car trouble - dang it MINI), the office was welcoming, accommodating, and scheduling relatively quick appointments. On my first visit, Dr.Patel and his team were thorough, curious, and caring. I felt so comfortable with them and I felt like I mattered. In many ways women become "invisible" after age 40 - add race and body size to the mix and it can be difficult to get the care and compassion needed to navigate health challenges. Dr. Patel suggested I get a full blood work up - and actually caught my low iron and anemia. So many somatic mysteries cleared up just because someone listened and cared. I have a surgical procedure scheduled in a few weeks that will bring me immediate comfort and the topical meds and injections Dr. Patel is giving me have restarted hair growth in some persistent patchy spots. I'm very thankful I found this practice!

Review also on Google…read more Got a mani pedi done. If you put a google review they give you 10% off. If you want to get the 10%, make sure to do it on separate transactions if you're with a friend. I did feel a little awkward because I got a mani and pedi and had accidentally splashed some water during the pedicure and a piece of the sink/tub fell off. I did feel that after the splash she was a bit rough on my callus and hands where I got a little bit of a cut on my finger. She also shook the callus cleaner and skin came out BEFORE starting to work on my feet aka someone else's pieces of skin. I saw another Google post and 100% agree. This place doesn't seem to be 100% on top of sanitation. I apologized profusely because I felt bad about the splash, but I was not 100% happy about the rough service.I honestly should have just given 15% but because I know it's around the holidays I wanted to be nicer. At the end my gel mani also looked lighter color than the sample nail. She said it was too late unless she took it off. I thought adding tips or extra layer could help. It could be the style but it definitely looked lighter than the sample nail. My 20% tip would have been $17. I ended up giving $25. The tone dramatically changed and she came over to check on me and unrolled my pants. It was a little awkward on my end. I hope they can work to improve the customer interactions.

I called and made an appointment for an acrylic fill. He asked if any nails were broken and I said…read moreno, but some were lifting. this was not a problem to him and he restated back to me to confirm time and that it was an acrylic fill. I showed up for my appt and was sent to a lady and never given an option or chance to pick out my nail color. it was my first time here and I'm in from out of town. They started to remove nails and buff them with the drill and my nails were burning and I kept pulling away and stating that it was hurting. She continued to do what she was doing despite me stating I was in pain and pulling away. I had to get up and go to the bathroom because I started crying and didn't know what to do and was in so much pain. I went back and sat down and stated she was now conducting a service on me that I was not only not familiar with, but that I also had never asked for. Mind you, I've been getting my nails done for years and have received tons of different services. she then told me I had to do this service and that I couldn't get what I had made an appointment for and asked for which was acrylic, but failed to communicate to me before she started doing it and never asked if this is something I was okay with. I sat at the table with my hands in hers crying in pain and unsure of what to do as I continued to tell and show her I was in pain. i didn't know if I should leave and excuse myself from the service and then be left with nails I wasn't sure how to care for or remove and go to a different place or just let her continue and hope they'd turn out okay and that the pain would stop. It eventually did get better and she thanked me for "patience" and said next time to book the service she gave me that day and said it would be better next time like there would ever be a next time. Then they tried to charge me 105 dollars for a service I never asked for and for an experience that honestly completely traumatized me and caused/ left me in so much pain. the pricing on the screen did not match the price he stated so I questioned it to which he then explained it to me but it still hardly made any sense. I explained I wasn't comfortable paying this amount as I received a seevice I never asked for and cried in pain almost the entirety of my appointment. He brought the total down to about 89 dollars and I paid it and left. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I'm not one to ever leave a review let anyone one of this depth and negativity. I however just wanted to thoroughly explain my experience in hopes of this NEVER happening to anyone else. I am beyond disappointed and frustrated and feel completely violated and dismissed. I will never be attending this salon again.
