Absolutely amazing experience! Dr. Simmons and her team are truly exceptional in every way. I have to credit Dr. Simmons for the success of her team because it all starts with her and the tone that she sets in the office. My tooth broke last night while eating soft Thai noodles of all things, nothing crunchy or hard, I called didn't think anyone would be there but they were and were willing to see me if I could get there right away last night but I couldn't so they took me this morning at 7 AM and Dr. Simmons and her team worked their magic. They were able to get the crown back on the tooth but there actually wasn't a tooth so I'm not really sure what they did except work magic. And magic it is because I am hands-down a dentists nightmare and gag horribly whenever work is done on the back molars. They were all so patient, including Dr. Simmons, just kind and gracious and wonderful and within 31 minutes I was out the door with a caution not to eat or drink for 10 minutes. I just moved to SoCal from New York City and badly needed a root canal and a crown. I was so nervous to find a new dentist. So grateful that I received a recommendation to see Dr. Simmons. She is on-time, professional, thorough in her explanation and I never felt rushed. The equipment is state-of-the art and super clean. The office is conveniently located near the 5 and Sante Fe Road and is decorated in a soothing and tasteful manner. The root canal went just as planned and was not painful. The staff: fabulous!! They are caring, professional, and so lovely. They had balloons for me on my bday and all sang hb before my root canal- So unexpected! I have been going to Dr. Simmons for several years now. I have been so impressed with her that I decided to switch my boys Pediatrics dentist to Dr. Simmons as well. My two little guys love her and the entire staff. Everyone is so friendly and courteous. Dr. Simmons' work is second to none. She is a perfectionist and she really enjoys what she does. The staff is professional and they are constantly striving to improve their business. They are flexible with my busy schedule and I never have to worry about the accounting or contacting my insurance. They take care of it all!! I absolutely love Dr. Simmons and her staff. I came to see her when I was in the middle of a crisis - or at least, a little one. I had tripped and chipped one of my front teeth. Take my word for it when I say that I am very, very protective of my teeth and have worked hard my whole life for them to look good. I was heartbroken. I was even more heartbroken when I priced out possible fixes. Fortunately, the problem turned out to be much more simply fixed than I had feared. Dr. Simmons fit me in as soon as she could and had everything fixed inside of an hour. And it looked beautiful and natural. Almost as much as her skill, I appreciated that she and her staff were very, very patient with a brand-new, somewhat irrational in the moment, panicked thirty-year-old. I immediately switched to her for all of my dental care and I always encourage people to come see her. She's meticulous and careful. She tracks everything that happens in my mouth with an extensive computer file and compares it visit by visit (I've never had a dentist do this before). What's even more amazing is that Dr. Simmons actually will remember things about my teeth, such as a repair she did to the side of one of my teeth to combat gum recession (not the front tooth, though she remembers that, too, and came in just to check on it at the beginning of my first cleaning at her office; she was panicked something might be wrong!). All of her staff have been kind, professional, warm, and organized. It's also a nice, sparkling clean office with new equipment. And, I won't lie, it's comfortable, too. It's nice to be able to watch TV during a cleaning. I'm not afraid of the dentist, but I still appreciate the distraction. read more

I went in for a consoltation for invisaline which should of been free I had gone to 3 others orthodontist all which were free and they gave me more information and help then she did.. but she charged my insurance for something she did not do which was an oral exam. read more

I just had to Yelp Dr. Simmons Dental Practice. My family had been going to Gentle Dental which was not really doing it for us. My neighbor Mark suggested Dr. Simmons so we gave her a try. Night and Day!! It's great because the business is done the old fashioned way but has all the modern tools, equipment, Dr. Simmons/Staff Knowledge, followed up by excellent customer service including billing. All Bills are accurate and done properly as it relates to ones dental insurance. It goes without saying that none of us really enjoy our trips to the dentist. She views each patient as an individual and she has never recommended or pushed for treatments that were not necessary. Dr. Maricela Simmons is a really nice person and her staff are super friendly. However, I was disappointed every time we went in for a cleaning. The hygienist seemed to race through and was done in about 20 minutes. At first I thought this was great that she was able to finish so quickly but then I always noticed that my teeth never had that super clean feeling you get after going to have your teeth cleaned (you know - when you roll your tongue over your teeth and they feel so smooth). I started going to another dental office and they spend almost an hour and I'm back to having that super clean feel when I leave the office. As I said, everyone there is super nice and I feel bad not giving them a better review, but at the end of the day I want super clean teeth and I didn't feel I was getting that. read more

They have been very accommodating when I had to bring my young son along for my appointments.
