I stopped in for a hot chocolate on a Sunday afternoon. I was impressed by the quaint, cabin like atmosphere. There were folks working on their laptops presumably focused and productive on their studies enjoying the warm toasty atmosphere and laid back environment. The server was kind and not too busy to stir up some of that great hot cocoa. I even added a cookie to go which came in a styrofoam container. The pastries looked good too. I finally came here today after driving by! My boyfriend insisted I go there and get the cinammon rolls because they are 'the best he's ever had'. They were pretty good. I will say, it was warmed up and the frosting kind of lost shape, so if you want the full frosting look, don't get it warmed up. I got one to bring home for my boyfriend and he said it tasted a little stale, but that may have just been because it was really cold in the case. I had the creme brûlée coffee and it was pretty yummy. The ambiance was nice. There were a lot of people reading in there. It's got the 70s vibe I love. I will be back! read more

I came here on a whim after seeing the pretty cafe and drink pictures. I decided to get a white pumpkin latte and wasn't amazed. Their seasonal menu has several pumpkin and fall themed drinks but I think I should have gone with the pumpkin spice chair. There's a lot of seating inside with some chairs outside. Outlets are alongside the wall and one is by the couch area. Some didn't work or were too loose for the plugs. There are individual gendered bathrooms and a drive through for food and drinks which is unique. However, parking is tight right by the cafe, but they have additional parking across the street. Service was fast, and he refilled my water bottle for me. There is WiFi posted, but the network isn't the same as the one they put on their sign. read more

I wanted to try a local coffee spot in Marietta, and the Marietta Coffee Company fit the bill perfectly. It was quite busy on a Sunday morning, with plenty of people occupying the tables and lounging, and barely any empty parking spots. They have a drive through, which you ordinarily do not see with independent coffee shops. They have a front and back porch for outdoor seating, and indoor seating consisting of several couches up front and tables of varying sizes. Decorations were cute, with a random selection of mugs on the wall that they allow you to grab to have your drink in. They have a small selection of pastries on offer that they purchase from local bakeries. We went with an iced white mocha and a vanilla latte, and a cinnamon crumb cake muffin. Both the drinks were decent preparations...nothing groundbreaking compared to other coffee places, but solid in quality and not too sweet. The muffin was also tasty with just the right flavors and not too much sugar. Overall, all the items were a good 3.5/5, but rounding up my overall rating thanks to the very friendly baristas and welcoming interiors. Marietta Coffee Company is a good local coffee spot, and one that I wouldn't hesitate returning to when needing a caffeine fix. read more

Early on a Saturday afternoon, I came to Marietta Coffee Company by recommendation of Mac at Crawford Auto Repair. I wanted a hot chocolate and a croissant. He said he knew just the place for me to relax, take a load off, and get exactly what I wanted. He pointed just behind his business and I walked over. The employees and patrons were all quietly at work. I placed my order and was served quickly. I ordered: Hot Chocolate with Cinnamon and Whipped Cream (Initially it tasted like a warm milk latte. However, I had them add two extra pumps of chocolate syrup and all was well.) Banana Nut Muffin (Had it warmed up, it was decent enough) Overall, I had a good experience here. Not overly crowded. Both items were each about 4.50 - not cheap, but not expensive. Definitely, what you'd expect. This is a great place to grab a warm drink, a pastry, and read a book/work/study for a few. read more

Marietta Coffee is located on Roswell Rd in Marietta. There is a window you can drive or walk up to and place an order. You can also go inside to order with the back and front porch available to customers. They have a pretty standard coffee menu filled with hot, iced and other coffee options for your caffeine fix. I normally get White Chocolate Mocha elsewhere so I went with the White Mocha. You can get a small or large as far as size options. You can get a light pastry as well. White Mocha was pretty good. It wasn't too hot or cold. It was perfect temperature. Just the right amount of flavor and sweetness. I'd definitely order it again. I would also go inside to look around. read more

I have been going to place for years, recommended to friends and family, until today. My sister just visited this establishment 11/27/24 around 11:00am. My sister received the incorrect size that she paid for, when she expressed that her drink was a 16oz not a 20oz the manager Julia immediately rushed to the drive-through window and gave her the most nastiest attitude?!?! There's a definite need for a coffee spot in this area, but I'm sad to say MCC is an average experience at best. While I respect the attempted eclecticism with the mismatched coffee mugs and array of bakery items, there's little to nothing memorable about this place. Admittedly, the mismatched furniture all feels like worn down Big Lots type couches and sofas. (Plastic, faux leather style). The acoustics are terrible, which aren't ideal for in person or virtual meetings. The staff seem apathetic and aren't articulate in helping with recommendations for coffee drinks. My coffee was pretty watery tasting. Parking can be tight if folks don't pull in accurately. All that to say, I live about 10 minutes from this spot and I pass several other coffee shops before I get to Marietta Coffee Company, so the likelihood I make it a point to go here is pretty slim. read more

I am a loyal costumer at this location but today will be my last time supporting this company. I was racially profiled to the extreme this morning for simply disliking the smoothie that they made. From the time I ordered my smoothie I felt the employee was dismissive but didn't pay it any mind. When I came back into the shop to get my smoothie remade the woman clearly was not happy and slammed my money on the table and told me if I come back there she will call the cops on me...what?? The two women that work mornings are the shining stars here. Becca and Juliette are always smiling and they make you feel very welcome. Unlike chain coffee shops, the customers coming inside are as important as the drive through customers. This place is a bit eclectic. I got a latte, it was alright - I'd say 3/5. My wife got an iced mocha. I watch him make it and it was basically just chocolate milk. We got the feeling he (attendant) didn't want to dirty up the blender as it was 10 minutes before closing and his girlfriend was there waiting for him. My wife said her iced mocha was really not good - not iced, and no whip on it. Just my observation, but the service seemed rushed and that really impacted the quality and the experience. read more

I see a lot of lower reviews because of bad espresso drinks, (mocha's, fraps, whatever) and ambiance. If those sort of drinks are your thing, look to those since I don't ever get anything but coffee, black. As far as coffee goes? It's good, nothing special, but more importantly, it's not *bad* coffee. I come here to read mostly, sometimes get work done. Having the option to sit on the front or back porch is great. As for ambiance and acoustics, part of the drawback from having so many windows is the noise will get to you. Is that their fault? I mean they could cover up a few windows and pad the walls sure, but then it's not a coffee shop, it's a dungeon. Come here for good conversation or be prepared to wear headphones, but for what it is, it's a 5/5. Service is always on point, I'm not sure I've ever met anyone here that didn't at least pretend to want to be there. I ordered a cortado and a chocolate croissant... the croissant was like eating an eraser. I took one sip of the cortado and had to throw it out... It tasted and smelled like battery acid. The employees are not entirely friendly and the atmosphere is very run down. They need to train their baristas better on how to make espresso. I would recommend other cafés in the area. Even Starbucks is better by a landslide. Edit: Forgot to mention my cortado was only half full. Not even filling the cup up all the way is especially slack. The best thing about Marietta Coffee Company is the low prices. You can get a 16 oz. for less than what you would pay in Baltimore for a 12 oz. My friend had a lavender mint tea which she didn't end up liking, while I had a normal and French vanilla-flavored latte with almond milk (my second choice in specialty lattes since the White Mocha flavoring was out). I liked that there were outdoor and indoor seating options and there's a drive-through, which is convenient considering there was limited parking. Service was quick and friendly. I visited Marietta coffee company late last month, so some of their safety procedures may have changed by now. I was driving up further north, and found Marietta Coffee Company on Yelp when I was in search of a nonfat iced latte. Surprisingly, not many coffee houses have nonfat milk readily in stock! I was able to pick up that MCC has nonfat milk from a keyword in someone else's review. Pretty cool. The menu at Marietta Coffee Company is pretty expansive! They have flavored drinks, espresso drinks and a bunch of different types of milk (dairy and non-dairy). They have a decent case of pastries and other sweets. Some of them looked pre-packaged, but some looked very fresh/local! I have to admit, I didn't order anything but the latte, but I wish I could have! The lemon cake looked allllllmost good enough to break my diet, lol. The atmosphere is absolutely adorable. I'm not sure how busy it gets at peak times, but it looks like there would be ample space to socially distance. Before you even walk in, they have a whole sanitation station with a huge pump of hand sanitizer and napkins. read more

Visited here on a Sunday morning. It's a quiet dim lit coffee shop. A couple people were there studying . I ordered the French vanilla ice coffee with soy milk and it was bit too sweet but still good. However when I mentioned the drink was too sweet and I could have a little extra coffee and she said it's a up charge to add more coffee. I didn't want to make her remake the entire drink so to me made more sense to add more. But hey it is what it is. I would visit again and probably just be a bit more specific knowing that they make their drinks a little too sweet. read more

I came by here with a friend to catch up and this is one cute place! They have indoor seating along with an outdoor patio with shade and even a drive through window! I went with my go to order which is an iced chai latte and appreciated that it was not too sweet and the chai overall was great! My friend also got a chai latte and we split a guava pastry. They have all types of toppings and add-ins for your coffee, and fun places to sit while you're drinking it. Negative: I saw the employees making my Hot Chocolate, and it was literally microwaved. The location was clean, all staff were wearing masks and gloves and everyone sitting inside were abiding by social distancing and sitting 6ft apart. I have always loved this spot but afraid I may have to look around. It's turning into the new "college hipster spot". The staff and owners are amazing and the coffee is also. My one big drawback is the newly installed "wall bench seating". No one likes to be that close in proximity I'm afraid and it totally eliminates the plugs for the tables now because they all line the windows. Tom is a great guy and I wish him success! p.s.
