Walking around in the square and decided to stop here with a friend. We were seated outside as requested. Once we finished our dining experience outside we were taken to the speakeasy. We sat at the bar. Bartender was nice. Plenty of street parking in the area.

This place was pretty cool. I went here on a Friday evening. We sat outside at a table and just ordered a cocktail. They had live music going on and we were able to enjoy that from the outside looking in. It was quite busy, but someone soon came to take our orders. They ran out of water glasses, so I suggested ours be brought out in to go cups. ( which was no big deal). After enjoying the weather, decided to check out their speakeasy. It was a different vibe downstairs. The mixolofist was cool and informative. We ordered a drink down there. Listened to the dope Playlist and enjoyed each other's conversation. I would love to come back for ladies night.

Nestled right in Marietta Square. This is a super cute restaurant. Walking in feels like stepping into a time capsule not to mention they have a (secret) speakeasy with passcode entry. They also have brunch, lunch, and dinner which is a plus! I really wanted to love my experience here (and the customer service is fine, that wasn't rely my issue) however I feel like the menu was all over the place. I guess I just can't really tell what this restaurant is going for. I enjoyed my meal there, I had a Proper Burger the first time and pot roast the second time but it wasn't anything that I'm gushing over and can't wait to return to. I've been twice now and I think it's a solid restaurant, but I think the menu needs a little revamping and I probably won't be back anytime soon.

Creol shrimp, amazing. Not too spicey, went great with smoked Gouda mashed taters

Food: all of it Drinks: Caramel Belle Service: Vanessa Atmosphere: (A+) Music audible but quiet enough for conversation. Best food on the Square! A quiet secret is the table in back! Best seat in the house, but make a reservation!

This restaurant will be in my rotation because it's so good. Some of my girlfriends had dinner here and it was so wonderful. The service was great. Our waitress frequently checked in on us and gave us recommendations. She didn't hesitate to tell us the truth about some of our choices and I really appreciated that. We started off with appetizers. The fried goat cheese is wonderful and so is the brussels sprouts. The brussels sprouts are big enough to share, but you're not gonna want to because they're so good. For dinner two of us got the short rib bite and my other friend got the salmon. The short rib was very good and tender. The only thing that made me mad is the plate was so small. But the restaurant is top of style, although the short rib bites are labeled under large plates. Just not large enough...lol. While dining, I saw some customers walk around the corner and go down a secret door. Come to find out they have a speakeasy downstairs. I had no idea. We asked the waitress do you have to have reservations to go down there? She said it is recommended but we could just go to the host stand and see if they had anything available. So after we finished dinner, we went downstairs and enjoyed the vibes. I will say it's a very nice speakeasy. And the drinks were good. They're not the same drinks that you can get in the restaurant part. I let the bartender make a drink for me so what I got really didn't have a name. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and the speakeasy to anyone. I'll definitely be going back.

My husband is still raving about this spot the following morning! If you're looking for a cozy neighborhood go-to spot, don't sleep on this one! We were able to make reservations for a Sunday dinner. It's a smaller restaurant, and for a Sunday, it got to be pretty busy. (good sign) The excellent service, romantic ambience, and exceptional food quality totally eclipsed our lackluster greeting. The decor was straight from a 1920's speakeasy a'la The Great Gatsby, and surprise! (to me anyway) there's an actual speakeasy below the main dining area. Our server Marisa was engaging, warm, and very helpful. While I could see her being very busy behind the bar (those espresso martinis!), she was still attentive without being overbearing. Great selections on the menu, whether you prefer tapas-style shareable bites or a larger main dish that's big enough for 2 to share. Reasonably priced, and all of what we got tasted amazing! Full bar menu included several non-alcoholic cocktails and beverages. Who knew? But it looked like the espresso martini flights were the main attraction! We'll be back just to try those!! For our starters, we tried the short ribs, mushroom dumplings, and fried goat cheese. YUMMM!! There were actually a good selection of vegetarian options on their small menu. We chose to share the orange chicken with a side of brussels sprouts, and we were blown away by how tender the chicken was while still having that crispness of the glazed skin. Wow!! Bonus for us was the gentleman who so kindly kept clearing our dishes turned out to be the owner Will! Super friendly and even offered to take us to see the speakeasy downstairs! Just really made us feel welcome. And learning that we could host private events downstairs, we may just make up something to do it. We cannot wait to come back!

Been here twice for lunch and enjoyed both times greatly! First time, I ordered a chicken sandwich and it was so good. Also ordered the espresso martini and wow. They have an oat milk cold foam on top and it is so special. Second time around, I ordered the shrimp bowl. You can tell that the ingredients are quality here and you don't leave feeling gross. This is a good staple to have in Marietta square and I plan to keep coming back!

I ate outside on their patio the other day and was pleasantly surprised. We originally went in the beginning but they've definitely worked the kinks out since and expanded their food menu! I ordered a shrimp po boy which was on homemade bread, decent sized fresh fried shrimp and their house chips were tasty! My dad got a croissant sandwich which he liked too. Service was great, the waiter took the time to ask for all of our names and greeted us by them every time which was kind.

We were a group of 5 and that was pushing it so I'd definitely say no more than 5-6 people. We sat outside and the weather was beautiful. Just a heads up--this restaurant seems to be dog friendly. As a dog owner myself that is something I'd like to know but I understand the hesitation when you're sitting and eating next to a dog. However, doesn't take away from the cleanliness or the service of the restaurant. We ordered the Mezze trio as an appetizer. Everyone loved the hummus however my favorite was the red beet root. I also loved that they can refill the pita bread which went by quickly. Most of the table ordered the lamb skewers which I thought was a good. I'd give it an 8/10. I thought the flavors paired nicely and it was a different taste than the skewers I've ordered before. My brother ordered the salmon and he really enjoyed that. The service was nice however it did take at least 45 minutes for us to get our food which was a bummer. Definitely could see this being a nice, chill lunch or dinner spot.

Over the bar was a large screen TV showing beautiful scenes of Italy, with contemporary Italian pop playing in the background. I started with the soup of the day, which was lobster bisque that was so full of lobster that I would call it a stew versus a soup. The complimentary bread was slightly toasted and topped with aromatic herbs that paired perfectly with the olive oil with which it was served. My entree was a special, and was the short rib. There was nothing "short" about it as the huge beef rib had a bone that overhung the plate that a caveman would be proud to own. The beef was fork tender and the steak knife provided with it wasn't necessary. It was paired with a delicious and sweet wine sauce. And the side was tender gnocchi (al tartufo) in a rich and creamy sauce flavored with truffle. Since they also have Risotto al Tartufo on the menu, that will definitely be on my list for my next visit. And I definitely want to bring my wife to that next visit because the flavor and food were so wonderful, it's a great place for a date night.
