I love that they have a couple TVs by the bar area to play sports on but not necessarily around the whole restaurant... so you can really pick what type of vibe you want depending on where you sit. Please note that the parking is mostly street parking here! I ordered the smoked Gouda smash burger which came with fries. It was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I did order a plethora of sauces since I'm a sauce girly. My favorite sauce had to be the dark beer mustard and the BBQ Ranch (this was really surprising for me but the dill in the ranch took the cake for me)... but honorable mentions go out to the garlic aioli, smoked paprika aioli. Fries were cooked perfectly. Beer was delicious and local! THE PICKLES HERE ARE AMAZING AND MADE IN HOUSE. My friend and I stopped here on a Sunday for lunch CJ and were looking to remember a friend and her love of mac and cheese. This place did not disappoint. We were seated immediately in a booth and our server, Tyler, gave us great recommendation as it was our first time here. The fried green tomatoes were outstanding! I picked the Bohemian because I am one of those people who like beets and veggie burgers. I had a side of mac and cheese which was excellent. Food, service, and ambiance are all a solid C. The bathrooms needed cleaning and the paper towels were out. The flavors on the blue cheese and bacon jam were underwhelming and way too sweet. The brussel sprouts (usually my favorite vegetable) were not worth eating. The tough ends were not cut off. They just tasted steamed and flavorless, and the bacon on them was soggy too. We are in Marietta visiting my son, and strangely enough discovered stockyard because we were visiting a coffee shop across the street which we found on the Marietta-Opoly board game lol. First off, I love the history of this building... 1800s, supposedly the jail at some point long ago. You can just feel the history and imagine what took place in there as you sit and wait for your meal. The staff are all fun and attentive, and our server -- who was also tending bar that day -- was amazing! We were there early enough for the half priced apps, and weren't hungry enough for a full meal. I ordered a side salad with ranch, and we split the smoked nachos. When they came out, it was a huge portion and enough for both my wife and I. The only drawback is that they didn't have any sour cream that we could add to the nachos... It may seem trivial, but I've never needed anyplace that didn't have sour cream for the nachos. Because of that, I will give this a 4.75 stars. We will definitely be back! read more

If I can give this place a 10/10 Í would. I LOVED this spot! We came in right on time for the spirited happy hour. We ordered the loaded pork nachos and honestly I'm so impressed. The chips were homemade thick cut potato chips that were light but perfectly crispy. They did NOT get soggy at all while we were eating it. It was the perfect balance of fresh and hearty with the gooey melted cheese that wasn't too salty, it complimented the tender pork and the pico gave it that fresh touch. Also the BBQ sauce is spectacular. The dirty south burger was super super flavorful. Not salty at all, it was perfectly seasoned. The Mac in cheese and bbq sauce on top were amazing. One of the best burgers I've ever tried. The fries were my favorite but you can tell they are home made and cut. I also ordered a side of roasted bacon brussel sprouts. I personally didn't care for it or liked it. They weren't bad but wasn't what I expected, I wish they were crispier and came with a sauce. I didn't ask for a sauce with it but maybe the garlic aioli would have been better with it. The chocolate lava cake was rich and decidant. I won't not compare it to Chili's. It's not gooey on the inside but it is light and fluffy, the more of vanilla are noticeable and the brownie was crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy. Maybe a little gooey on the inside. I really liked it. To top it all of our server, Tyler was spectacular. She was really nice, very attentive. We didn't have to as for a refill she, gave us recommendations and was so friendly. I love this place! I have eaten there many times. Everyone seems friendly who works here. If you want to bring your pup, there are tables with umbrellas on the sidewalk, or inside, there are booths, high tops, and bar seats. They used to have an amazing ahi tuna salad and sandwich, and even though it was gone, they had other items I enjoyed. They make a very smooth old-fashioned. The blackened salmon ceaser is fantastic, and so is the Southwest chicken cobb salad. If not having a salmon or salad, I love the Gouda Mac and cheese. read more

BBQ. M&C. Burger. Stockyard Burgers and Bones is absolutely my favorite restaurant in Marietta Square. All the food they do here is fantastic, and I've tried a lot of it: The Dirty South, Stockyard Tots, Pork Belly Bites, Roasted Bacon Brussels Sprouts, and the Grass-Fed Ribeye. I've hardly been disappointed with any of it, but my go-to is always the Dirty South burger. It's a classic burger- brioche bun- topped with my favorite mac and cheese and drizzled with bbq sauce! I would typically think that it would be too much on a burger... but it's so light and fluffy and gooey and flavorful. It always comes with so much m&c that (by the time I'm done eating the burger) I have an extra side item left over on my plate. The fries are also some of my favorite! They are perfectly salted homemade fries with a crispy exterior and a soft interior. This meal doesn't come with this sauce, but I always ask for the Apple Butter BBQ on the side to dip the fries. I've never had a sauce so addicting before... yum! I've had a lot of different service at Stockyard, and they're usually super personal and attentive (Ive only had one unpleasant experience with a server when they were really busy one night). My final recommendations... If you're GF: check out the Stockyard Tots appetizer, and pair it with your favorite side. The Brussels' sprouts and asparagus are both good, but sometimes a little dry. If you're looking for a unique adventure: The Dirty South will fill you up! If you want a fine date-night: the pork belly bites are a perfect appetizer for two, and the steak never fails! Ok well I'm sorry but no one should have a burger this good. Good lord what do y'all put in that meat?!? That was the juiciest, best seasoned burger I've ever had. First off it's massive and I had half of it left for the next day (let's be honest, I got home and two hours later ate the other half hidden in the shame of my fridge light like a troll). I went with the basic burger - called "not so plain Jane" I believe. Very good. And as mentioned before, the fries are large plank style & a large serving. Wife said they were perfect for malt vinegar (which they happily supplied). I stuck with ketchup & their garlic aioli. She also loved her burger - some fancy type - which is pretty impressive as she is a tough judge of burgers. The dining room is pleasantly & only slightly darkened with decor befitting its name. We have been there twice and both times have been great. First time we sat at the bar. Both bartenders have worked there for many years and were outstanding. We ordered the rib appetizer, a burger and the fries. The ribs were incredible, the burger excellent and the fries with the different dipping sauces were outstanding. The second time we ate there we sat at a table. This time we ordered a full rack of ribs, which by itself was more than we could eat. we also had the bang bang chicken appetizer and fries. Truthful Experience: It was a Friday night and we were very excited to try this really cool restaurant that was recommended to us and look from the outside. That would be a great experience and great vibe however.. The mussels didn't come with lemon( and they need to on the plate) The ribs were great but cold. The burger was like a child's burger in size and very mushy because of the topping runny bacon jam. (Which they comped) Service was good, but then got it bad at the end once I complained. I wanted it bussed so we could enjoy by trying desert ..which we did and tried the bread pudding, which was absolutely outstanding!!!!! probably the best dish of the whole night ... the atmosphere was complete chaos sitting outside on a Friday night with hundreds of people walking by. The table was too close to the curb too close to the sidewalk. Great location but I had higher expectations!! I'm sure it's WAY better than my experience. I'd give it another try sometime! Impromptu visit on a Saturday night at prime dining time (7pm) - there was a wait of about 35-45 mins, however, we were able to cut that in half by opting for a table outside. It was a beautiful evening with low humidity and no bugs... so we were all in. The kitchen was a bit backed up so wait time was a little longer on the entrees than I would have liked, however, the service was great and the recommendations from the staff were on point. We had an array of menu options including a solid old fashion, some pork nachos (app), and the mother clucker chicken sandwich and a fantastic well done burger (I asked for it to be well done - and it was on the first try), Parmesan truffle fries and a delightfully rich brandy topped brownie al a mode. This restaurant is located on a side street off of Marietta Square. They offer both inside and outside dining. We sat at a booth inside. Our server, Mike G, greeted us and asked if we had any questions about their offerings shortly after we were seated. The back of the restaurant houses a nice bar with a great selection of bourbons and several locally brewed beers. I took a photo of the bar and the cheerful bartender came out to greet me and provide details on their extensive bourbon offerings. Will definitely return and try a few. We started with an appetizer, "Pulled Pork Nachos" and they were delicious (they have half priced appetizers from 3:00 to 5:00 pm). My wife who loves burgers ordered the "Not So Plain Jane" Burger and she really enjoyed it. I ordered the "Bulleit Bacon Chicken" which is a grilled chicken breast smothered with bacon and cheese and covered with a delicious Bulleit bourbon BBQ sauce. It was awesome. My only complaint was that the Gouda Mac-n-cheese was not piping hot. All in this was a great first visit to this restaurant and we will definitely return to sample some other delicious dishes. read more

I enjoyed the Yard burger but not a fan of the Jane's not so plain as it was in fact pretty plain... Fries were very good. Love the garlic aioli dipping sauce. Nice bourbons available to drink and the bartender was nice enough to come over to our table and make recommendations based off of what undertones we liked. The brownie dessert was so delicious! This was an awesome place to eat lunch on Valentines Day! Going to the Marietta Square and having lunch with my wife at Stockyard Burger and Bones. I had the valentine day special of pan fried fish with braised collard greens and bacon. This was an awesome meal. The fish was perfectly fried, tender and flaky. The greens were seasoned very well but I had too much of the juice instead of greens. My wife and I split their bread pudding dessert and this was AMAZING!!! Warmed up just right and dollop of ice cream. The restaurant seems small walking in but it has more space towards the rear past the restrooms. Our server was very attentive to us. It wasn't that many people in during lunch, but she was serving a lot of the folks that were in the restaurant and was handling all of us.
