My wife and I enjoy wine tastings and visiting wineries, so we were excited to finally have a night to check out this local wine market. Unfortunately, the service brought your score down. We had a reservation for dinner and the young lady who initially met us, did not even ask us this. She greeted us with, "we have an event going on, so seating is tight." OK - Well I have reservation. That seemed to help her find us a table. When she sat us, she handed us one menu for my wife and I. No wine list, (at a wine market) and no introduction. After 5-6 minutes, our server came out and said hello, but did not bring water or the wine list still. But, she did inform us again about the event going on. WE know restaurants are busy on weekends and even more so in the holiday season, but the constant reminders of "The event" does two things, one the servers are creating an excuse to say, you are going to receive slow service, and two, it felt like, how dare we show up during an event night. Finally on our servers 2nd visit, we were able to receive a second menu and the wine list. We ordered the 6 piece charcuterie and two glasses of wine. The server who made the charcuterie board, was very pleasant and proud of her creation, and rightfully so, the board was beautiful and delicious. We enjoyed our wine choice and decided to buy a bottle, our server, had zero wine experience. She did not present the bottle to me, (I have the wrong bottles brought out on a few occasions, and this is just a common courtesy) she uncorked the bottle, did not present the cork, she poured from the bottle into glasses that already had wine, granted we ordered the same wine, but at a wine market with a big event, maybe two new glasses should have been brought out, just in case. Then after she poured our glasses, she DROPPED the cork on the floor, picks it up and sticks in our bottle. Do your servers do that with silverware? Then she began to walk away with our bottle, I asked her to please leave the bottle on the table. She was seemed like that was an odd request. Overall, if we could give half stars, I would say 3.5 for the review, it was saved by your charcuterie server, as well as the taste and quality of the meats and cheeses, as well as the wonderful selection of wines. We will be back and hopefully, you take these comments constructively, and have your servers trained up a little more to be assets to your establishment. read more

Finally made it to this local market and eatery to catch up with a fellow Smyrna Mom. We were looking for a local place that wasn't loud, a drink and light bites so we could talk. Mission accomplished! Andrew was extremely helpful in explaining the menu, the wine selection, how to order wines (glass, carafe, bottle) plus tastings & memberships they have. I ended up ordering a Petite Syrah and my friend went with a Moscato. We shared the charcuterie board that was a mix of cured meats, cheese, fried fruit, crackers and preserves. We added the smoked salmon as an alternative to the pork. It's like a deconstructed bagel - smoked salmon, cream cheese, capers & chips. Both were delicious and just what we needed. They also had a trio play at 8 PM. Very nice touch and added to the atmosphere. Plan to come back every month to try the entire menu! read more

So I ended up going for an event and it was a really good situation. It's in a very nice area, it's not that large but it's a walkable area that has a lot of different things around it. If you want food or if you want beer or whatever, a lot of stuff is in this part of the city. Then I really have food like that but they have plenty of wine and beer to boot. They have a really good selection. The owner came to talk to us and explained everything that was going to happen as far as the wine selection so you really got a good explanation and that was really good. Actually, the owner Came and talked to every table. Which I thought was awesome customer service. It's very nice when you walk in the door. It's all very clean. They have a bar room to the right, and if you keep straight you'll see another bar with tables and there's some couches in the back. So there's plenty of seating and standing room. They have a cooler with all types of can beer products and bottles of wine. There's not much of a menu but they can explain it to you when you go up there so it's kind of a one-stop shopper whatever you need. read more

What a chill place! The setting calls for a relaxing afternoon with friends. Here you come in and find a place to sit, order wine. The staff is very knowledgeable and give great recommendations. We went on a discount night, but honestly it wasn't great. The flatbread was over priced for being basic. And the wine specials were not good quality. I think we just went on a bad night because everyone else still seems to love it? The waitress was amazing but the food was not and I've had better wine else where. I got a chance to head here yesterday after leaving the office looking for Reunite Lambrusco and Vinho Verde which were recommended recently to me and they did have any more of either but the other made excellent recommendations for other options. I didn't feel like he was trying to recommend the most expensive options. He legitimately wanted me to know what I was purchasing, and I appreciate that. He was very kind, professional, and engaging, and they have such a beautiful set up here. I felt like I was in Sonoma again visit the local wine shops there. This place is amazing, and I'm so glad it is very close to home. Gave this place a try in April w/ a friend and hands down fantastic experience. The location is easy to access with ample parking and once you walk inside, multiple seating options are available. Everything from a seat at the bar, to high tops down to sofas to set the mood for a more intimate vibe. Great location to go with friends or a significant other. The menu offers daily specials as well as nightly staple items. Wine classes are also offered. The team as a whole was knowledgeable regarding wine options, varietal details and notes. The chef has a creative menu that offers something for every palate and was considerate to remove items for an allergy sensitivity. I attended opening night and it's so great to have a neighborhood wine place again. It's located in Smyrna Market Village in the heart of Smyrna. The staff is very friendly, the wine is awesome!! And Anthony, the owner knows his wine! Ask him anything and he will find a wine you will like. The place is set up as a great spot for friends to connect and meet new ones. I've been to The Vineyard Wine Market a few times now and love this place! If I didn't live so far, this would be my go to spot for not only drinking wine but also to learn about wine. First of all, the staff there is excellent! Very attentive to each customer and knowledgeable! The owner, Anthony, is fantastic! Within seconds of talking to him, you can sense his passion for wine and also for his customers. He also makes wine tastings entertaining and enjoyable! One thing I love about this place is that is not your typical wine bar! It has so many different levels depending on what you are looking for. They have a wide range of different wines by the glass AND the prices are really good! Their menu even has the ratings for the wines. So it's a great way for people like me to try different wines without breaking the bank. Also they have different specials going on like $3 Tuesdays and $5 Sangria and Mimosas! For people who are seeking to learn more about wine or just converse with people about wine, this is the place to go! They host different and unique tastings a few times a week!! I went to a few of the Blind Tastings for Napa Valley Cabernets and my friends and I all loved the experience. It was great to see people sharing and bouncing ideas and opinions about the wine. It was such a great way to learn and also train your senses! And of course Anthony made it fun! They also have a Wine Club that meets every month too! This place is a new favorite for my husband and I! We went for a wine tasting event and were incredibly impressed with the selection. They have events going on constantly, the prices are very reasonable for these events as well, especially for the amount of tastings that you get.
