I recently called in an order Friday June 4, 2021 only to be told that a gift certificate could only be used for pick up or in store dining ( not available during pandemic ). Fair enough I proceeded to pick it up in the establishment. The bill came to $45.65 my gift certificate was for $50. I presented it and the woman at the till said thank you you are good to go. I said but what about the remainder of the $50 . Her answer was the whole amount has to be used and did not offer a credit note for the balance. Sorry but to me this is outright theft. VERY DISAPOINTING BUSINESS PRACTICE!

The place was empty when we rolled in. I think a lot of people opt for pick up or delivery since the ambiance isn't that inviting. There were plenty of tables to accommodate large groups of people. They had a chalkboard displaying display specials by the entrance to the dining area. It was a couple bucks off the usual price of the dish. I went with Thursday's special - Poon Ped with rice for $11. It was a chicken dish with onion, celery, broccoli, baby corn, and green peppers in a spicy sauce. It was spicy, but not overly spicy. The sauce was good, nothing exciting. All the veggies were fresh and crunchy. Although they have mixed drinks on the menu, they only offer wine and beer. The lady working here was very nice. Our check came with fortune cookies and Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pies. I thought it was a nice little end to dinner.
