I was running about 3-5 minutes behind and called to let them know. The lady on the phone told me that my appointment was canceled because I didn't confirm the appointment within 24 hours of booking. I mentioned I had even filled out their consent forms after my appointment was confirmed, but supposedly they filled my slot already. Nothing I received stated I had to confirm this - nothing on the appointment page, nothing in the texts or emails, nothing at all. I immediately pulled over to see if maybe I missed some kind of communication stating my appointment was canceled or that I had to confirm anything or my appointment would cancel. Nothing. I tried to call back to double check that maybe they got me mixed up with someone else, but no answer. As I write this review (5 minutes past my appointment time) the link I received still shows my appointment was at 3 PM today. Though the lady was super apologetic, it doesn't help me get back the time, gas, or money I wasted buying the Groupon and driving out to Georgetown. I felt like I should warn others about this unwritten cancelation policy, and that if your appointment is canceled on their end it isn't communicated to us as potential clients. *I did get a refund from Groupon, but not back on my card. They would only refund me in Groupon Bucks. * Clearly my appointment wasn't canceled and they just didn't want to either service me because of my Groupon or just didn't want to fulfill their last appt of the day (maybe even year, since I believe they are closed on Sundays). I just received a "thanks for your business email"

She took my worst and found a way to make it my best! She is definitely living her calling, but honestly she's probably great at everything she does. She's just a spectacular human being. I have thick curly/wavy hair and I've certainly had more bad cuts than good. Jenn wasn't put off at all and not only knew how to cut it for when I want to blow it out and straighten it, but so that it will look good when I air dry it. She was able to start the appointment a tad early, which I appreciated. She asked me what I liked about my hair and what I wanted to do. I told her that I like how my hair looked, I just wanted to blend in my natural hair with the colored hair. She took that information and got right to work. She was easy to talk to; it was fun sitting in her chair for a few hours. She updated my hair and gave me a fresh look for my upcoming events. I would highly recommend her.

I had originally asked her to just fix that...the color was brassy. Then I went back and had her put low lights throughout the blonde and cut my hair. She made the top layer of my hair so choppy it wouldn't even straighten. I went back again to tell her I wanted the brown out of my hair and wanted it all blonde again. So she put highlights in it and my hair turned brassy again and she said that "my natural brown wasn't lifting out" well the brown in my hair wasn't natural anyway she put it there but blamed my hair. I trusted her one last time because I am new to this area and didn't know anyone else good and she was highly recommended so when I went back the last time she bleached the entire top portion of my hair then as she washed it out put two different toners on my head and when she dried it my hair was gray/violet because that was one of the toners color she used. She then did a bleach rinse which turned my hair a reddish ash strawberry blonde. Then she toned it yet again and it is now ash strawberry blonde and extremely dry. I had to cut off over 5 inches of my hair because it was damaged. While getting it cut the girl noticed I have a halo of blonde into my brown where her foils bled and she never told me. All she kept saying was that my natural brown hair wasn't wanting to be blonde. All she did the entire time was blame my hair and never once owned up to a mistake she clearly made.
