I've been seeing Cheri for a while now I think I've gotten my hair cut by her 3 times already over a year time span, she's always so professional and nice. These ladies were so amazing and Cheri made time for me in between her appointments to give me a lash lift and a much needed cut. I love this place! I've lived in Killeen for almost 10yrs and it was really hard trying to find the right place and right stylists because the ones that I did find moved away or changed occupation. The ones I've been finding are very picky on what type of hair to work on. My hair is JET Black and is really thick. It's usually really long like past my bum long. Most of the time I'm only requesting to get just a simple trim, yet I get that face like they didn't want to work on it. ‍ trust me it was difficult! See how misleading this is.. 1st pic taken by owner Cheri after service with her. All others are pics taken of under the top layers. So when you look in the mirror or the 1st pic you expect it to be the same correct? You have a professional who is an owner do it. Then..... 2 washes with purple shampoo and WOW! This is what was hiding under my top layer of hair after receiving an attempt of an all over bleach stage 1 of lifting. This is not even justice of the blotchy cheetah hair design left. I am very disappointed due to the confidence and pride that was shown behind the award given. Must of been for the waxing service only. I asked for a refund after a $300 payment and was told to trust her again to fix it?? I should of never of left at this level of service. I have to walk around with this and chop my hair off now... would you trust it to attempt to fix this? Should of been done the first time or expressed what it looked like before allowing me to go home with this. The top is not like this. The part you can't see in the mirror is. Very dissatisfied and highly advice you to go elsewhere. Even a refund isn't justice for this. No responsibility even acknowledged just excuses and blame. Blaming my surgery that was weeks ago that it had a chemical reaction and it's my fault I must of done something.. there is no balance in this hair nor is this quality of a professional salon. Also, came in for a consultation to set expectations or fear to have her personally see how my hair was not damaged and expectations of the goal of the end result and while I was in the stages along with my personal pics of the color of those stages and end result before making an appt. Also she told me it would be $150-$200 for the appt So with the voucher I should only have to pay the $100 plus $50 for the difference if charged $200 after mentioning the voucher she then said she doesn't know any offers on here even though she comments and post on here. She then said it was a price only after I re-mentioned how I found her and showed her even though she set expectations of everything at the consultation before scheduling. So not only was this poor quality, the consult was a complete waste of time. She has had a hard life as she talked about it during the appt and talks about her beliefs and religion so why is there so many deceitful in the encounter of the apt and now when I express how unhappy and disappointed and embarrassed with my service received. Update: so she said one price and ran my card for another and knew only after I had left because she ran behind. I called her informing her how upset I was about ALL of it from my cheetah print hair to her running my card for a much larger charge than she said she was running it for and had the audacity to ask how much to add for a tip? I did get it toned a way darker color to make up for the inconsistency of product applied to my hair. Of coarse coating an additional charge and time spent. She then said I voided her work and she doesn't do refunds! Not once did I see it posted anywhere. She denied over charging me like I can't see it on my account. She not accept the responsibility that she destroyed my goal and how she did however try and "educate" me of how she was able to accomplish such amazing work. Lol the top half is another woman's work that she's trying to betray as hers.. umm no ma'am yours is the other pictures of how my hair is from my natural color to here. I went to a few places that were unbelievably shocked of how she managed to bleach certain spots and not the others in the amount of time she took. The owner who did my hair spent most of my visit talking to me about her marriage issues/ divorce so much so that the hair cut I asked for isn't what I got. I didn't want choppy layers but that's what I got. I honestly just wanted out of there so I didn't even complain. 2. Keep your religion to yourself I didn't come here for a church lesson. I felt like this whole part of the conversation was very unprofessional. Now the facial was cool but again she just kept talking about her Relationship issues so it was hard to really relax. Worst Brazilian wax experience I've ever had. I wasn't made aware that the only Brazilian was service available was the sugar wax. It was excruciating, she didn't trim my hair down before beginning even though I requested it. I had to stop her and literally sit up on the table and trim my own hair. My Hair Stylist was Cheri Rogers! She was absolutely professional, early and sweet! I arrived two hours early and just finished eating in my vehicle. Cheri came out and stated she could take me early so less time I would be there for my very first Brazilian Blowout on my long 4c hair (see attached pictures). She was able to make good conversation and walk me through each step. The walkthrough was very appreciated, because I was super ecstatic and nervous for my first Brazilian Blowout. My appointment was in the early afternoon and went into the evening, because of my long natural thick Dominican hair. There was another stylist there, I am sad to say I cannot recall her name. She was super sweet too and was also able to make good conversation. It truly felt like a ladies elegant hair salon and relaxation. You know how we see on tv the ladies laughing, smiling and talking? This was precisely similar. I was also nervous at first because I didn't see anyone who had my texture hair on google or her website. However, from that initial phone call she assured me she has done them so many times on my type of texture hair. That helped me feel better.
