I do laser hair removal here, but this is one stop shop for all your aesthetic needs. But, I am only reviewing laser. You start with low power and progress to high power over the course of a few months. I definitely got reduction in hair in all my treatment areas! Certain areas are not as complete results because of hormones and skin pigmentation, but I love the results overall. The set some expectations, it does require maintenance in the long term, but far less than waxing or shaving. After the initial monthly sessions for a year, I come back once every two to three months. I was also sad to see Kaitlin go and there seems to be a lot of turnover in terms of staffing. After the laser's re-calibration, I can't lie - the laser is at least a 5/10 painful (10 being completely unmanageable pain). But, all the staff are friendly and sessions are quick. I love their end of year special where you get BOGO giftcards, so I stock up and pay for the laser I need for the year. I am a regular here! read more

I had such a great experience with my nurse Kaynaz. She truly did a perfect job with my Botox. What I appreciated most was how much she listened to my concerns. In the past, other injectors made my face feel too frozen and heavy, especially in my forehead, and it just didn't feel like me. Kaynaz took the time to assess my facial movement and created the perfect ratio for my features. I still look refreshed and smooth, but I can move naturally and don't feel weighed down at all. I found Selfishly Aesthetic on Groupon and purchased a 3-pack laser package. It's right on Divis, so centrally located, although parking can be tricky, so give yourself time to find a spot. Very nice and beautifully designed front desk area. Check-in process is easy with the option to sign waiver forms on a mounted iPad. The laser room is in the very back. This is my first time doing laser, and I felt very comfortable. Before your first session, they will call to confirm your appointment. They will give you instructions on how to prepare, and you have the opportunity to ask them any questions or concerns you have! Follow-up confirmations are done conveniently through texts. If you have sensitive/ reactive skin... ask for Nurse Brie! Brie is a dream for anyone who has a lot of anxiety about their skin. I've done 6 sessions of laser hair removal here and the team is extremely professional every time. I was initially nervous to try laser hair removal, but the team is very knowledgable and able to address all of my concerns. I was once more than 15 minutes late to an appointment, but they were still able to fit me in. As for results, hair growth has greatly decreased in the treated area after 5 sessions. I've been to this medspa a few times and I've always had a great experience, but I noticed something the last time I was there that made me quite uncomfortable. When I went to check out I realized that the woman at the front desk was wearing Meta Glasses, the kind that can be easily missed as they look like standard glasses, but that can record everything the wearer is looking at. While I don't know if she was recording or not, just wearing them seemed unprofessional. These glasses could be recording credit cards, and other personal information such as phone numbers, addresses, and even before and after photos. In a medical adjacent establishment like a medspa this concerned me. While she was very nice and probably not recording (at least I hope), I think it would make customers like me much more comfortable if these were not worn when working. I am leaving a 4 star review because besides this I have always had a great experience here, and I am hopeful that a policy could be put into place that employees should not wear glasses capable of video recording while working. I will gladly update my review to 5 stars if a policy like this is implemented. read more
