Marina auto stereo was able to install my subwoofer and amp no problem with an LC2, when I was told by another place that there was no way to install it because of the Genesis factory surround system noise cancellation setting? This is long overdue! I called around everywhere for quotes on tinting my 2018 Honda Civic Hatch. They kept quoting me over $300 because apparently it was a little more work to do tinting on the hatch I don't know if it's because of how the windows are shaped in the back? I called Marina Auto Stereo and they said they have a machine to help minimize the process and quoted me way lower. Although they didn't wear a mask much, (lost a star) my tint cam out hella clean... It was hard but took big boys word for it an waited 5 days before rolling my windows down to get the tiny bubbles out and good luck thing cuz they came out clean. So props for that. These guys do a great job. I had a 2006 Mazda 3, back in 2010 they tinted my windows, they also installed a car alarm back in 2010 & I also had my cabin air-filter changed by these guys. They did a great job, prices are reasonable & they offer better deals than the car shops in the East side of Salinas. Last month, I had my 2017 Priest tinted out & it looks fantastic. Quick story about Marina Auto Stereo: A week ago, somebody busted my side passenger window & I had few things stolen out of my car. I went to Toyota dealership in Sand city. Toyota dealership said, glass will cost you $230.99 and the labor will be $150.00 an hour and its a two hour job. In another words, Toyota dealership is offering labor of replacing the glass for $300.00 & its going to take two hours. I took my passenger window & I went over to Marina Auto Stereo. I talked to Ryan, " I would like to have my my passenger window to be replaced and tinted. " Ryan let me know its going to cost $90.00 and I agreed to it. I came into Marina Auto Stereo some time ago inquiring about stereos for my Mercury Mariner. Well I have sense then changed vehicles to a Toyo Tundra. The windows were tinted but not to my liking. Other stores wanted $300 to over $500 for a install. Marina Auto, $180 basic, or double down for some good stuff. Keep the heat out he says. Well little did he tell me that when it's 60° outside it's colder inside and you'll see your breath. Best damn decision I've made for my truck in a long time. Reminds me of back home in Colorado. I have been working on putting in an Android Head Unit I got for my 2017 Jeep Renegade, and so badly wanted to utilize the OEM Camera already installed. After being by China that the Head would be compatible with my Camera and should just Plug and Play, it did not and was basically lied too. When I checked with a local Installer in Salinas about my situation, he said he would not be able to hook it up to the original Camera and suggested buying his License Place Camera Frame for $125 and having it all installed there for $125 bucks. I waited and researched as I do, and eventually bought a $25 Frame on Amazon, and looked into doing it myself. Don't really trust myself though. So eventually I called Salinas Dude back and talked to a coworker, who he could install the Camera and everything for $220. So I didn't have him do it, and felt I was being scammed. So I called a friend I trust and asked if he knew a Radio guy. He said he didn't know no 'guy' but took all his stuff to 'Marina Auto Stereo' in Seaside. So I called there and spoke with the owner, who said come on down and talk. I did, and he said they could install everything within in 2 hours at $65/hour. We made an appoint for the next week and I brought it in. He turned my Jeep over to two young guys who worked on it for an hour. When they pulled it out I realized that my License Place Camera Frame was not installed and was confused. Then I asked and realized that the two guys were actually able to hook the original OEM Camera up to the Head Unit! I was stoked! I hate modifying anything on my vehicles that is not OEM upgrades, and putting in the Head Unit was only because it actually looked like an original including the 'Since 1941' Print. I am so pleased with what they have done for me! I went from little 5" OEM Radio to a 9" Android Head Unit that fit right into the slot! We were able to utilize the original Camera so that we did not have to run any cables at all through the car! Looks absolutely fantastic! I tell you, I won't say I have 'Radio Guy', but will let you know that all my future business will be going to Marina Auto Stereo! They Rocked! read more
