Y'know, I really was looking forward to having a cruise control installed into my car. It's been annoying driving around without one. When I heard that this place installed them, I was pretty excited. I was in the area, and I went into the store to see about getting one installed. Dude seemed nice enough, mentioned that he had another gentleman come in looking to get a cruise control installed into his car, and took down my information. He said he'd get back to me the next day for pricing when he ordered the parts for the other man's car. I haven't heard back from him since. I called a couple days ago, seeing as I hadn't heard back from him, and a lady said that he was out at the moment. She took down my information and said he'd get back to me. He didn't. Customer service 0/10. C'mon dude, I wanted to give you money. Get it together. Edit: As of 9/15(ish) he got in contact with me twice-- One to let me know that: A) The parts I needed were on backorder for the warehouse-- something he never communicated since I went into the shop and called and I had since found someone else to instal the parts after I ordered them myself. B) He had it in stock after I had already got my cruise control installed. I had already called a few shops in town and found one to get my cruise control installed. I was really done with Marina Auto Stereo for not keeping me updated as I had a pretty tight schedule because I was taking my car out of state. read more

With over 10 years experience with car audio/video, this place has Great products/install but horrible customer service. I dropped off my w7 for repair over 5 months ago and was told a lead time of 1 month and I would be updated on process. I never received a single phone call returned after calling multiple times and left messages. No response, so I went into shop to see my subwoofer in the exact same spot it was a few months earlier. Was told a story or two on why it wasn't sent yet but would be sent asap and would be called with an update. Again, never received a single call and waited a few more months assuming my sub had to been done by now, even with Ryan never returning any of my calls I finally got Ryan on the phone and still had zero explanation for why sub hasn't left. I immediately take woofer, and within 5 minute phone call I was able to receive a RA# which he said jl audio wouldn't give him. Now I have no explanation why he would ignore customers and not return any phone calls just seem pretty shady with his intentions with my subwoofer. They seem to be doing ok with the tinting part of their business, as machine does the hard part and cuts tint for them . Ryan may be very knowledgable and talented when comes to car audio/tinting, just not very honest with accepting responsibility. Would only recommend if you know what your looking for. read more

Awesome spot - great customer service. I went there and they were able to fix my mistake with my camera. The biggest take away from this place is they're honest and open. I realized after, they only charged me for 30 minutes of work because that's how long it took and they were genuine about it. I now know why they work with the garage open so it's clear they're not playing games and there is transparency with the service being provided. Great experience and great staff. read more

Ryan and company are amazing. I purchased a stereo system from overseas that had very minimal instructions and they were able to install it perfect. The crew went above and beyond by contacting tech support overseas and ensuring the system was installed correctly. Took a short amount to install and the work was amazing. About a week later, the radio stopped working and Ryan was able to fix the minor issue caused by a manufacturer error. I would not hesitate to return here for additional business. This is my experience. I made a appointment to get my car stereo put in. The owner told me that it would take 4 to 5 hours. After 6 hours, I called the shop. I was put on hold for several minutes, so I called right back. Asked to speak to the owner. I was on hold for over 7 min. Called back a third time to get the shop answer machine. While I was in route, the owner called me back, very apologetic, but did not touch my car at all. He told me that he could and would get the car done the next day. I told him that I would see him in the morning. It was 9am on Thursday morning, that shop was CLOSED! No one inside. I left a message on their shop answer machine, and did not even receive a call back. THANKS FOR NOTHING! read more

After a free diagnostic appointment that was quick and scheduled the next day from my initial call, I was offered a superior product that was ordered in for me in a timely manner. Great customer service got my windows tinted. Called in and told Ryan if he was booked he said no got my window tint cut out by a computerized machine. Was installed beautifully. I love my tint nice price and warranty as well. I'm so excited my windows were tinted here. I will always go back to there shop. Some real positive vibes. I recommend marina audio and stereo rather then blackout tint because blackout tint uses no machine to cut out the film. Super good experience! First time getting windows tinted and was nervous with my brand new car. Told the owner (forget his name) that I wanted the front tint to match the back windows that the car came with. They look great! They don't really match when you look from the inside out but it's perfect on the outside, which matters most to me. The owner was really nice and accommodating. The owner Ryan is super knowledgeable and friendly. I dropped the car off early in the morning and it was done before noon. If we could give negative stars, we certainly would. Nightmare, does not even begin to describe what we experienced in getting our windows tinted on our brand new 2017 vehicle with 100 miles on it. We researched where we could take our car, as we did not want the door panels removed in order to install the tint. We thought this would be the perfect place as they use a machine to cut/measure the tint so no extra invasion of the vehicle is need for application. Dropped the car off 12/28/16 at lunch time and picked it up a few hours later. Walked outside to look at the tint job, and low and behold, our car was scratched multiple times on the left and right rear quarter panels!! Come to find out, Jake who installed the tint, had a knife in his front apron pocket. Ryan (the owner of marina auto stereo) asked Jake to demonstrate leaning up against the car, as he was while working on it, and the scratches matched up to where the knife had been in his apron. Ryan, as well as the guy Jake, profusely apologized and said they would take care of it. So much so, they were ready to call a paint touch-up person to come and do it right then and there on the spot!! We wanted a second opinion as our vehicle was brand new. As a courtesy to Ryan, we had two estimates done from two reputable body shops. We chose the estimate that best suited us as the paint protection coating (we had just had installed 12/27/16) would need to be reapplied after the paintwork. Ryan seemed surprised at how expensive the repairs would be. He told us he would like to contact his insurance company to begin a claim. After the new years holiday, Ryan advised us he spoke to his insurance agent and was told he would be better off paying out of pocket so that his insurance rates would not go up. We agreed at that point to set an appointment for repairs. The manager at the body shop we chose called Ryan, the owner of Marina auto stereo, the Friday prior to our car repairs being started, to facilitate payment arrangements. Ryan told him he would be in the following week to pay for the repairs,once our vehicle was in the repair shop. We dropped our car off and the vehicle was almost completely fixed 4 days later, only to hear from the body shop that owner Ryan was a no show and no pay. We went straight down to marina auto stereo where for the very first time, in the 3 weeks since they damaged our vehicle, Ryan told us he wasn't going to pay!! What a stand up job Ryan did, to take responsibility for 3 weeks and tell us not to worry he would take care of it, and once the car is almost fixed, turn around and say he wasn't paying and he didn't do it. Like I said in my 2nd sentence of this review, Nightmare doesn't come close to what we have been through. Thank goodness we had gotten our daughter a phone for Christmas, and she was taking pictures, videos, and texting in real time as we picked up our vehicle from this shop. ****Update 10/19/17- we took Marina Auto Stereo to court and won a judgement in our favor. It took sending the Sheriffs department to the place of business to collect our judgement (and Marina Auto Stereo did not appeal the judgement against them). All in all, took over 10 months to collect what should have been taken care of by the business owner when the damage happened. **** read more

Bought a stereo from Ryan who was fabulous in helping me decide what best fit my needs. Turns out the lowest-end stereo the best solution which Ryan himself recommended (..I admire that from a sales person.) When the installation took place he ran into some wiring issues (old vehicle) that neither of us expected. The labor time was longer than anticipated and he graciously worked with me on the labor costs to his disadvantage and also stayed longer than closing hours to finish. His customer service was exceptional and I left with an amazing end result and a more than satisfied experience even with the unexpected costs because of the way it was handled. I had a full on dual amp, sub, speaker, stereo and capacitor system installed just yesterday. They were able to install everything in one day and it sounds incredible. I have never had a system like this in the past and I am very excited and in disbelief that I'm driving with this sound. They did a super clean job and mounted both amps and the capacitor. Everything came out better than what I was expecting. I am very pleased to say the least and the price was more than fair. I will definitely be back to get my windows tinted from these guys. The customer service was great, they even fine tuned the stereo before I drove off and went over some of the functions with me.
