There remains a nice little amount of small businesses, and you can always treat yourself to one of my favorite spots at El Torritos. Last but not least, you can always catch some interesting elements of mother nature; namely seagulls, pelicans, and seals or sea lions, to say nothing of people watching. Overall a great spot for a nice roll and an opportunity to collect some great oxygen and sunshine. Fun fact: during the opening credits of one of the Charles Bronson Death Wish movies there is quite a panoramic view of this bery same Fisherman's Village and it looks almost exactly as it does now.

I always enjoy walking around and taking in the views, as well as dining! Inside & All Around | Souvenir shops, MDR Historical Society, clothing shops, places where you can rent boats, go on Harbor cruises & so much more! I've also been on the weekend and while dining, there was live music, and even people dancing around...Fun!! Also, I can always spot a variety of gorgeous flowers all around, so pretty! Dining Experience | I've dined at KC's Crepes for delicious, savory, and sweet Crêpes! I've eaten delicious Mexican food at El Torito! Also, had delicious Lobster Rolls several times at Whiskey Red's, which has a beautiful waterfront view, especially from the outside patio! Surprise | One evening, a friend, and I stumbled upon a total dance party outside, which included outdoor shopping, which was a win because one particular item (Vintage Coat) from a vintage shop caught my eye, and I had to have it for an upcoming concert! Hahaha! The owner of the shop even invited me to his full vintage collection at a warehouse in Downtown Los Angeles! I've also enjoyed shopping at Istanbul Home with my cousin when she was in town! Fun shopping here! Parking | Be sure to remember to stop at the parking station and pay once you park, which will also ask for your license plate number! Tickets will be given otherwise! Also, be sure to park in the correct direction or tickets will be given! Overall | Yes, I highly recommend, as it's a super cute area, both charming & quite serene as well as incredible views all around! It's fun to walk around, as well as a great place to take someone who is in town visiting!

Love the ocean scene from here. I had not been out here in a very long time. Parking is real expensive, but that's about the cost to park on the beach averagely around 10 dollars. 10 dollars will not make me nor break me in my convenience in having some fun. Nice spot, and cool places to dine and eat. We will try and come here at least once a month.

It's at 7am? I thought they open at 6am? Starbucks opens at 430am....... Maybe this parking Tesla need its own validation! I charged money there $10.12 and now I paid for that and they want more money from me, parking validation wants $12! I wanted the croissant or that egg burritos! The verde salsa was great! Being senior now I can't eat anything hot sauce like I used to! Even I am Asian American! Oh well, I will have to wait till it's open at 7am! I went to pull money at bank and i didn't have any money to pay. Now I am stuck! I shouldn't have got up at 3am when i got up. I need to stop sleeping early to wake up so early! The validation should be outside the door! Or don't have the parking gate down! Leave it open! I can't get out when I want to go out! Why isn't Tesla have a validation???? Why is Boardwalk doing this harassing customers? This is so stressful! I can't reach the push button to get a ticket! I have to get out of the car to push it. Cuz even I reach by unbuckling to push, I can't reach to get ticket when entering this parking lot! Customer service is not satisfactory ! As I am getting out of the car before I park the car. Remove this parking lot validation and fees! Let us shop around and charge cars when and what time we want to come! Then have everyone open 24/7! That makes sense!

Since Nordstrom moved out it's just so eerie. Not a lot going on. I happened to come in as I was checking out a potential new gym which is coming in - Club Studio - and they're going to be pretty huge and take the old Bloomingdales space, people were super friendly and helpful so hopefully that will help but Santa Monica is gonna need a lot more investment in order to drive the people back to shop in person because there is really no good selection of stores of value - just a few boutiques and some brands like Nike or Johnny Was or Paige. Din Tai Fung and Cheesecake on the top floor which is great but other than that... let's hope for more stores in the future.
