Friendly staff. Good finds once in a while. Goods are generally very reasonably priced. Many times I find prices are lower here compared to the larger chain supermarket. Small deli and bakery department inside the market. They also give out deli coupons with total over $20. I think for every $20 purchase, they give out a $1 deli coupons.

This Asian grocery is amazing for an independent grocery. It's huge, the size of a 99 Ranch but has a huge diversity of ingredients that can't be found in other Asian groceries. I found a couple of things I've been looking for over 10 years at this store (not wanting to buy online). The prices are less expensive and the produce looks great. Important these days with grocery prices higher than ever. The shelves are not perfect as they could use a fresh coat of paint but that probably contribute a to the less expensive items that I'd have to pay more for anywhere else for the exact same thing. If you are looking for something, call a photo of it up on your phone and show it to them. This is a hidden Asian grocery store gem. Will be back!

Here probably not the most clean supermarket, but it is the best of Asian supermarket. It's not like 99 ranch. Here has most unique items and varieties of snakes and ingredients. I like the staffs and bakery as well.

Business close at 9pm on Saturday. They close door at 8:45pm. Refuse let new customer come in. Horrible customer service attitude. Wish can give a 0 *!

I've stopped by to this Marina Grocery maybe twice. My visits aren't too bad but I'm not left with anything positive and memorable either. Produce section seems fairly tidy. I always see workers in the area either restocking or pushing around a cart full of vegetation. The tiny bakery located inside is pretty small and the pastries in the case [excluding the cakes] always look like they've been sitting out for DAYS. Thanks but no thanks when it comes to this department. I don't have any complains when it comes to rudeness but it can be very frustrating when you approach workers on the sales floor and they can't seem to understand what you're saying. There is pretty much little to no help when it comes to having questions answered if you are any other race beyond Chinese. 2.5 stars

A little more maintenance would be appreciated.

Grocery items and price is good. The daily food is very expensive. A small size eggplant is $8.30. It's ridicules expensive.

Does Marina have weekly sales? If so, how do we find them?

Are they still open 8 AM to 10 PM , 7 days a week, during Covid?

No, their current hours are 8AM to 9PM Monday to Sunday. A sign on the Entrance says as much.

They are starting to add more pastries and the displays are looking good, especially with the sesame buns and cheesy tarts, etc. I'm surprised that they are trying to beat pastry prices in the area and it's definitely looking good here. Decent prices and good looking pastries. Still feels like a startup though. Cashiers are training and doing their jobs. Hashi Market has been upgrading too. I purchased 3 large bags of dumplings for only $10. It was a good sale this weekend. Celery pork/leek-scallions pork/cilantro chicken/etc. I think their fresh vegetables have dropped in prices too ($1.49-$2.99 per lbs.). Finally. I come here for tofu selections too. You can also find good 1liter healthy coconut water for under $3 each now. Hashi Market is slowly improving and training more new employees inside. This grocery store is convenient and they have made the aisles more spacious to walk around. Food deli area is still operating. I think the place is much better now compared to when it was the Marina grocery store in past years. Japanese products are showing up more and things are more positive here. I'll be back to try a few more breads/buns. $1.99 for good looking breads is cheap and decent here.

They said they had to check the camera and could not do it at that time, so they asked me to go home and wait for a call ( pork feet were sold by the pound, it would be very unlikely for two separate purchases to have the exact same weight and price ) 5 DAYS later, they finally called and said they had checked the camera and would refund me when I came back. I did get my money back, but I think the way they handled such a simple mistake was very unprofessional and wasted a lot of my time I had a similar issue at 99 Ranch with a more expensive item, and they refunded me immediately If you shop here, check your receipt before leaving to avoid wasting time like I did

This supermarket is located inside the Park Victoria Plaza in Milpitas, California. It seems like this is a Vietamese run and owned supermarket, with a select few staff who also speak Chinese, as well. This is a very older supermarket in a smallish shopping center, but also has plenty of parking spaces. The inside is very old, and could really use a remodel to make it more modern, but for a supermarket, it does the job. The cleanliness isn't quite there compared to a 99 Ranch Market or other chain supermarket, but thus one seems like a single location, non chain. The prices here are pretty reasonable, especially for the fruits, not sure how they are able to compete with other stores and offer fruits are relatively low low prices. Oranges are $0.49 LB! These is the cheapest I've seen, even previously, they've offered them at $0.39 LB too. Again, not sure how they can sell them so cheap! We also really like the Fried Tofu they sell here for $4.99, the only supermarket that sells this kind. It's large sized, fried square tofu puffs. We get this every visit we come here. They sell alot too! The customer service here is really non-existent, meaning there is basically none, unless you speak their language, which is vietnamese. They automatically start talking to you in vietnamese, not much english with the cashiers, although they do understand basic english. Plenty of parking in the lot, so no worries there and they also have plenty of shopping carts for customers to use. However, I wish they would provide some shopping cart corrals for the parking lot, so customers have a place to return it after use. Overall, just a 3 star. Basic supermarket, nothing spectacular.

It looks like a legit grocery store and it's still very spacious with lots of selections inside. I saw more cash registers opened and operating during lunch hours. Convenient and walkable plaza. Cashiers are busy and occupied as usual. It does get crowded at times, especially in this plaza surrounded by high population residents and apartment units nearby. I still see elderly seniors walking around and walking home. The Japanese foods/snacks section is not bad at all. I definitely found some good items on sale today. Give Hashi Market some time to rebrand and pick up the pace. Hashi Market in Milpitas is also looking much better nowadays. This place is convenient is you're in the area for sure. There's plenty of good restaurants and nearby shops to browse around or you can also cross the streets to the next plazas all around. Looking good for now.

Let's start with the good, or I should say best. The sashimi here is the best of any Asian market bar none. You could even say better than some Sushi restaurants (I won't name them). Even some of the newer Asian markets like T&T have disgusting sashimi... to the point you can taste the ice bc they hadn't fully defrosted it. The only nit I have is bruh... stop putting the frickin plastic sauce packets right on top of the fish. Why? Why would you do that? Stop it. Come on. Why in the actual F would you do that? Ok, I know this sounds more like complaints but I do really like Mega Mart to be clear. 2 other issues: #1. Dude... what're you guys doing with the panchan? When did you start adding so much sugar and sugaring the F out of the panchan. This is not how it should be. Old Korean grandmas are literally turning in their graves with this sacrilege. Maybe panchan sales are falling, but you can be damn sure I will never buy this again with the amount of sugar you guys add. Like why? Why 50% sugar... seriously, this panchan candy bar nonsense makes no sense! #2. What happened to organic natto? Like bruh. You only had 1 brand left that was organic. Sure I could go to Nijiya and have a choice of 2, but I'm disappointed you guys stopped carrying the only organic natto you had.

I dropped by for my usual mushroom run and decided to peruse the aisles. I was excited to see that they now have a "Vegan Vegetable Mandu" offering in the hot food section. I had to grab both options to test them out : Unlimeat Kimchi Mandoo and Unlimeat Vegetable Mandoo. Each package has 8 pieces and a packet of shoyu. After trying both, the kimchi version won me over a bit more. The other option is lighter in flavor, and I'm a fan of bold and spicy food. Adding the shoyu helps, but I could easily eat all the kimchi ones alone. I'm not sure I'd get them often, but I like having an option in the grab and go section for when I'm short on time and hungry. They also added some Pulmone vegan-friendly microwave dumplings to the frozen section, so I got those too. I noticed some plant-based bulgogi kimbap in the frozen section, but I decided to skip them because I'm iffy about the textures of frozen kimbap. I love when grocery stores have vegan-friendly options! I hope this means they'll start adding more vegan-friendly options in the grab and go hot food section. A tofu and veggie rice bowl would be nice!

When I entered the checkout lane, Ha Ngoc had left her register to chat with a coworker in the lottery section despite customers waiting. After returning and scanning my groceries, she left the scanned items next to herself rather than moving them down the counter so I could easily reach and bag them. I politely asked her to move them down. She gave me a side-eye and only moved them slightly. After she finished scanning, I politely asked again. Instead of responding, she turned her back to me and ignored me despite my saying "excuse me" multiple times. She then began yelling in Vietnamese, which I do not understand. I asked to speak with a manager and ultimately with upper management because the situation continued to escalate. I was particularly uncomfortable when Ha Ngoc continued discussing the incident with other customers who had NOT witnessed what happened. What was especially disappointing was that all I wanted at that point was a simple apology. Instead, Ha Ngoc repeatedly responded, "No sorry." I eventually spoke with another management staff member, who listened to me and apologized multiple times. I appreciated her professionalism, and I want to make clear that my complaint is specifically about the conduct of the cashier involved, not the staff member who ultimately helped me. I emailed management afterward with a detailed account of the incident and requested a follow-up, but I have received ZERO response. I am posting this review because I believe customers should be treated with basic courtesy and respect, and management should take complaints about customer-facing employee conduct seriously.
