Perfect place for a family vacation! We had Rooms 432/432B (3 bedroom/3 bath) and it was perfect…read morefor our family of 9, stayed 6 days. Plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen was well stocked as far and utensils, dishes, pots and pans, colander, can opener, toaster, coffee maker, cutting board and cookie sheets. We had kids ages 2, 5, 8, 10 and they loved everything about this resort. From the lake toys to all 3 pools, the games room and the playground. We only went into Branson once then spent the rest of the time at the resort. We kept commenting on how quiet it was and even though there were a lot of people you never felt crowded. Pizza World has fantastic pizza, coffee and ice cream. Everywhere we went it was so clean. I loved the communication by text about the weather and having to close pools and lake area for the safety of the visitors. Having a washer and dryer in the room was great, especially with little ones always spilling something on their clothes. The only negative things I can say was there was no sandy beach by the lake. Our grandkids would've loved that especially when walking into the lake. Bring water shoes because those rocks are sharp and are really hard to walk on. For the activities they are offer I wish it was listed on the paper where the activity was held at and the cost of each one. Also list on your website to bring paper products like paper towels, Kleenex and toilet paper (1 roll is in each bathroom), Food containers and plastic wrap. One last thing, would have been nice to have hooks in the bedrooms to hang clothes up on. All in all I would highly recommend this place for a fun family vacation and we will definitely be back.

In our confirmation email, it states check-in is at 4pm which we arrived around that time. However,…read moreafter waiting in line for 30 minutes, we were told our room was not ready. In the meantime, we were told we could take our 3 children to play on the playground. However, we traveled from Dallas and our 3 year old developed a fever 1/2 way into the drive, so playing on a playground was not in the cards for him. Our room was finally ready around 5. We reserved a 2 bedroom condo. The front room with windows facing the parking lot and walkway had 2 beds which the children would be sleeping in. I had a weird feeling and checked the windows. Thankful that I did because all the windows were unlocked. The jacuzzi was dirty. Several spiders and flies inside the condo. The refrigerator made a loud noise the entire time making it hard to hear the TV. The washer was also very loud. We had to have our keycards reactivated several times. When I was getting them reactivated one of the times, the staff handed me the cards back which I grabbed with my left hand that had an iWatch on the wrist. She said it's probably deactivated again now. They should have a better system. The condo was not stocked. There was 1 extra roll of toilet paper in each bathroom for a 6 day stay and 5 people. There were no paper towels. The grass was not cut outside of our patio so the kids couldn't play and there was a dirty beach towel lying in front of the patio. Unfortunately we will not be back nor would we recommend this resort, which to be frank, is not a resort

After staying at The Village at Indian point, I find myself skeptical of the Expedia ratings!…read more The place was GROSS. As soon as we walked into the room we were hit with a wall of musty odor. The condo was straight from the 80s with popcorn ceilings, wooden trim, yellowing formica laminate countertops and yellowing appliances to match. The bathroom had broken and loose floor tiles. The worst part was the spider in the toilet, mold around the jets in the bathtub and stains on the bedding! And if that wasn't enough, the bed was absolutely PAINFUL! The only good things I can say about the place was the property grounds were nice and the area was quiet. Overall, the place was a waste of our time and money. I have no idea why in the world they have any good reviews.

They told me they cleaned it the morning we arrived. It had a very strong Musty odor the minute we opened the door. The smell never went away. We called the office and said it smelled of mold or Mildew. They said it couldn't be, but would move us to a different pet condo for $200 more. We decided to suffer thru keeping doors open during the day when we could. See below picture of carpet. it is black I don't know if it's just old or what but we will never stay there again.

We had the condo booked for 7 days/nights (Saturday to Saturday), but we did not get here until Sunday. My father in law checked us in and had all the paperwork ready when we arrived on Sunday afternoon. When we arrived, our designated condo was hot, like in the 90s, and the air conditioning was not working. My father in law called the office, and the woman who answered was being wishy washy and said they would eventually get a maintenance person to look at it. Couldn't tell us a time or even an approximation of when they will fix our issue. Mind you, it's been in the upper 90s to slightly over 100°F lately. Having been left in limbo, we called again about 45 minutes later, and the woman who answered the phone was nicer. She put us on hold for less than a minute while she spoke to her manager. Shortly after, the maintenance guy came and checked a different room, told us we would need to move, and that he was just waiting for the main office to call back and give the go-ahead. So we moved one level down to an equivalent condo. After moving our things, we were hungry and decided to go to the main office/check-in area to swap the key cards for the correct room. The woman did not even allow us to speak. She simply stated she knows what's going on. Then she got confused, taking 4 tries to finally get the condo number correct. If she had just listened rather than acting frustrated and upset, it would have been done correctly the first time. Customer service was really disappointing at this point of our trip. Also, when we finally got the new condo, the bed wasn't made. We made it with the extra blanket they have stored in the closet. The good news was that the replacement condo appeared to be clean when we moved in there. On the first day, we woke up to a blaring fire alarm before 7 am. Great way to start a relaxing trip, right? No. Fortunately, the remainder of our stay was better. Although you can hear everything in the condo, the area had some upside such as 2 swimming pool locations by where the cottages are, an on-site restaurant and bar you could walk up to from the pool area, and some resort activities for families. They also have a dock you could use if you're bringing your boat or renting one. The condo had a huge bath tub, it was sort of broken and refused to drain at first, but it was nice for relaxing. I went to the restaurant at the resort for lunch. Not super horrible. The huge bathroom with 2 sinks was great. The balcony, while nice, offered only a view of some unfinished grounds, the trailer for housekeeping, and some trees, but nothing exhilarating. This was a place to get some sleep, but we never did get anyone to come and make the bed or give us proper bed sheets.

While in the restroom, I noticed reddish brown drops on the wall tile and vanity. After taking a shower, there was a huge pool of water because the seal on the door was damaged and not attached to the glass door so the door didn't shut. The fan in the bathroom was also not connected to the ceiling and was extremely dirty. The security door latch also was pulled from the wall and was barely hanging onto the wall. When we tried to dial 0 to call the front desk, the automated mesaage on the phone said that operator services would not be available after Dec 2017! Really?? It's Aug 2025! How is one supposed to now get ahold of the front desk from the room? We had to get in the car and drive to the front desk. Sharon was super apologetic after we showed her the photos. She had to call her supervisor to get authorization and wanted to get us in a cottage but you could hear the supervisor clear as day over the phone say "No!" We were told that they couldn't move us to a cottage because we're owners and used points and they couldn't do a double upgrade (going from studio to a 2 bedroom). When Sharon talked to her supervisor, Sharon told her that only 1101 was available as 2 other condos were out of commission as well. So we were told we would be given 1101 which is 1 level BELOW the parking lot. Ok, it is what it is. In 1101, the bathroom had all the cabinet doors open that it looked like someone ransacked the bathroom. No toiletries were on the vanity. There was also no coffee nor laundry detergent in the condo. Basic housekeeping items that is supposed to be in the condo. Upon further inspection of 1101, there were dead bugs that we assume were coming in through the unsealed front door since you could see daylight coming through and the security latch was completely missing from the door. We had to go back to the front desk and politely asked Sharon that she needed to call her manager to find another solution as 1101 was even worse. Upon calling the front desk manager (Sharon's supervisor's supervisor) who authorized the move to a cottage, we were able to move. When we returned back to 1404 to get our items, the pool of water from the shower was gone meaning that it soaked into the floor and will lead to a mold issue if it's not already there. Out of the 12 condos, 4 had issues (incl the 2 I listed) and it's quite clear that it's in shambles. What is my HOA paying for because it certainly isn't for the upkeep of the building. It also feels that the building is the red-headed stepchild of the resort and it's still pricey. 75k points for a week in Aug for a studio is ridiculous especially when we were sold into the program that we could get a cottage in the village for 75k points.
