Marina Ristorante has officially become my go-to tradition. I've been to Prague eight times now, and honestly, this spot is my favorite way to wrap up every single trip. If you're looking for that perfect, view of the city to end your vacation on a high note, this is the place. The views are just unbeatable. You're sitting right on the water with a gorgeous, clear line of sight to Prague Castle--it's honestly pretty magical. The restaurant itself is super clean, peaceful, and has a great, relaxed energy. On our most recent trip, we snagged a spot on the upper deck at a nice, big, comfortable table with our friends. It was the perfect setup to just hang out and soak it all in. Service was excellent as it has been at all our visits. They didn't even allow us to add tip, but we would have give at least 20%. The food is always solid and really tasty, which is why I keep coming back year after year. Ordered a goat cheese salad and my husband tried some type of cream pasta. I've been happy with the pasta with prawns in the past. Definitely keep in mind that prices have crept up over time. For lunch--without any drinks--it set us back about $50 a person, and we just split a dessert. It's definitely a bit of a splurge for lunch, but for that view and the consistency, I still think it's worth it. Pro-Tip: If you're planning on going, book way in advance. We tried to get a dinner reservation during for our whole trip, but they were totally booked out. We ended up doing a 1:30 PM lunch instead, and it actually worked out perfectly. Located Alšovo nábřeží waterfront this place has beautiful views of Prague Castle and Charles Bridge. Just a 5 minute walk from the river boat tours. Big restaurant with 3 levels. It's designed like you're on a big yacht. We arrived without reservations and was able to get a table 5 right away. But the place was quite busy. Italian cuisine. Huge menu! Very good food. We enjoyed just about everything we ordered. We particularly enjoyed the T-Bone steak. It's a large portion that can feed 2-3. Comes pre cut with the bone. Perfectly cooked and tender. The Tiramisu was spot on. Moist and drizzled with rum, it was a great finish to a delicious meal! We didn't care for the Pasta Alla Carbonara. A bit too rich for our taste. This spot was an amazing date night in Prague. It overlooks the water and the ambience is spectacular. I got the pesto pasta which I thought would've been a green sauce instead it was a red sauce with pesto drizzled over-still delicious but not what I was expecting. The crème brûlée was to die for. Will return. The location is excellent, on the Vltava, by Maned bridge, diagnose from the main concert hall, the Rudolfinum; and looking out to the Charles Bridge. The venue is large, with three sections. Upper and lower deck and a small deck extends out. Bathroom is clean. They take reservation; opens from breakfast to midnight. The service is good, despite mixing up our bill with the next table - check your bill - don't think I'll do it but it's a good warning . The food is good. The pizza is large and bit too salty with anchovy and capers. I think no one can cook a bad pizza because dough, tomato and salt make everything taste good. The pasta - the filling has some small hard bits and pieces. At first bite, I thought they're nuts but they're not. The manager said it's prosciutto. Maybe, but I won't have it again. You pay for the riverview, but I was hoping for better food. My entree, pasta frutta de mer, was lacking seafood. Shrimp was diced into small pieces. The fresh pasta had a nice lemon dressing. Right on the river and you get wonderful views of the river and the castle! You do need to get a reservation at least couple of hours ahead or for the next day to get a window seating. I was walking one day, and decided to reserve for the next day since I wasn't in a rush. I was a bit surprised with such a low Yelp review because helpers don't lie. Wash it down with a couple of mimosas! The parfait was rich and creamy and there was a third item which I felt too stuffed to take a bite. The mimosas were held captive for at least 15 to 20 min. It would have been nice to order a pitcher but alas, the service was so so slow and our waiter despite being so polite and well mannered would disappear to thin air! The view is beautiful as it is located right on the river and the staff were extremely efficient and very pleasant. We ordered the risotto which I have to say was probably one of the best I have ever eaten anywhere in the world. We also had the steak and a few appetizers and everything was utterly delicious. My girlfriend and I went here for our last night in Prague. We had read about the fantastic view, and the great food, and we both were up for Italian, it looked like a great fit. And luckily, we where right! The food was like a feast for the tung, the beer was (relatively) cheap and good, and the dessert was amazing. We found this boat restaurant after our visit to the Prague castle and thought it might be a tourist trap - but we experienced excellent service, great food, reasonable prices and a quick service. A roller coaster of impressions as I visited the place, so I will try to sort them somehow: - I wanted to book a table online, and due to their overwhelming amount of visitors, you have to book a table A WEEK in advance, if not more :) - hungry, I went there anyways and gave me a device which will beep when a table for me will become available. Great location, views on river and facilities stellar. However, waiter tried hard to upsell us an appetizer not wanted, but that's fair. He did talk us into and expensive wine. Gave us a specific price and it was great. When the bill came the price was about 20% higher. We questioned him and he admitted he gave us a wrong price, BUT TRIED TO GET US TO JUST PAY IT ANYWAY. After a rambling conversation about how it was an honest mistake we were asked to just pay it but accept coffee. Now we were adamant that we'd only pay the qouted price. Next a senior waiter repeated the apology and suggested we pay it anyway strategy. Next was a 20-30 minute wait to correct the bill. We surmised the strategy was to outlast us. Some scam to fleece customers not scrutinizing their bills must be happening here. The waiter new the bill was wrong but presented it. The senior waiter knew the bill was wrong but attempted to not amend it without prolonged debate. Managers were seen debating the issue nearby but never spoke to or apologized to us. I don't know if that's a thing here that they do to their guests but the service here is absolutely appalling for a place that sells that great view of the river and Prague Castle. Would I come back?
