This practice has wonderful dentists. Dr Albanese is the owner. He is welcoming and friendly, as is his entire staff. Everyone from the front desk to the dental assistants, and hygienist treat you like family and they truly care about you and your dental health. I saw Dr. Christine Carute on my most recent visit. She has a wonderful chair side manner. On a prior visit she put me at ease during a wisdom tooth extraction. I did not experience any pain. She explained what she was doing throughout the procedure and it was a total success. I highly recommend this Dental practice and the whole staff. As a family of 4 that all go here, Dr albanese and Dr Carute are great. Although my experience with my children with a woman named KAREN that works there has made the dentist more traumatic than it is for children. Extremely rude , loud and unprofessional. As a mother of 3 , 2 of 3 children were there to get work done on their teeth we all know how scary that is , she was loudly saying things like "they shouldn't be in the room " or taking a chair away without explanation, that another employee in the office gave us , as my 8 year old was getting work done and I was in the room with her , my other two were quiet with their backs against the wall not in the way patiently waiting in eye view of me, she took it upon herself my other two to go wait in the waiting area . This office is absolutely wonderful. I can't even put into words how great of an experience they have made this for me. Dr.Albanese is by far the most amazing dentist I have ever been to in my life! The wisdom tooth operation took under half an hour. They were courteous and warm while at the same time being professional. They have a small private parking lot, but we're lucky we got there during the slow part of their day or we might not have found a spot. read more

Today was our 2nd appt with Dr. Reilly, which was scheduled for 6:30 PM. We arrived at 6:35 PM and as we were going upstairs, the Dr. was coming downstairs, saw us, smiled and said hi and just kept on walking! I thought that maybe it was someone else (since I only saw the Dr. once a month ago), but the receptionist said that "unfortunaly the Dr does not like to wait for patients on his last appointment". She told me that they also called me five minutes ago and I did not answer (I was driving). Mind you, they did call me the day before to confirm and I said I was coming. Appalling! I have never been treated with such lack of consideration, I would never go back and would not recommend Dr. Reilly to anyone if that is how he treats his patients. read more

I usually didn't have a problem coming here for myself and my kids in the past...and when I did hear negative things from my friends about them, I used to stick up for them...until recently. I had two different cavities filled about two months ago. After that, I've been in so much pain every day. Both teeth (upper and lower) have become INTENSELY sensitive and painful to both cold and heat, never mind biting and chewing. After about a month of the pain not subsiding, I went in to see what could be done. The dentist that attended to me was nothing but rude, telling me I COULD get a root canal done, get the teeth "shaved down," or they could take out the filling that was recently put in, then re-fill with some other crap then when the pain went down, go in and fill it back up again---when I didn't agree to any of these options right away, the dentist got upset with me and said I wasn't helping HIM help me. I should have walked away then, but I decided (because of the pain) that maybe I would try the least invasive AND the option that sounded most like it might even apply to my situation (merely suggesting he COULD do a root canal didn't mean that that is what I really needed!!!). My pain persists still (even after a month of the second visit) and I don't know what to do because the dentist offered no help and I got the sense that he could have cared less. This is unfortunate because they have a lot of families like mine from the Coast Guard going to them but I have no choice but to give them my experience after this and agree that they should go elsewhere. read more

Waste of time and money. Administrative stuff is very unprofessional. A lady who deals with insurance claims is lazy and rude. First, she made a mistake on a claim form that she submitted to MetLife. Because of that mistake my claim was denied. She didn't bother to call me or to call insurance company regarding that issue. After I caught that mistake she said that my employer discontinued dental coverage. She could've apologized at least instead of lying. Then she said she filed another claim and asked we to wait for a week. Of, course nothing happened in a week. I contacted MetLife myself and found out that she didn't submit another claim. I called that lady again. Now she's saying that my claim is still pending and that MetLife is taking longer than usual to process it. What's wrong with her? Why is she constantly lying? As a result of her constant mistakes I wasted 2 months. If your time is valuable for you, avoid this place. There are better dental offices out there. This place doesn't care about customers. read more

Who honestly enjoys going to the dentist? not many people.. However if you go to Marine Dental and see Dr. Miceli you will feel differently I can promise you that. I've never enjoyed the dentist, but when I visited be office last week I was pleasantly surprised. I was taken in quickly, Dr Miceli was filling two cavaties - from the novacaine injections to the drilling and work- it was close to painless. He was gentle and took his time. It was a great experience and had made me not so "scared " to go back for the remaining work to be done. Also, if you are looking for a great hygenist- I highly recommend Sarah. Fantastic. The office is very clean, has a great waiting area. From the moment you walk in the full staff is warm, receptive and quick to assist you. Great team all around and great dentist !!! read more

I am very happy with Marine Dental Services. Both my Children had/have their braces done here. My oldest daughter's braces are complete and her smile is perfect. My other daughter has her braces now. I have never had to wait longer than 15 mins for an appointment. they both also use the dental service and that too goes very smoothly. I just had my first visit there. I am afraid of the dentist but they made me feel as comfortable as they could. Very friendly. I also did not have a long wait time. read more
