The Courts are beautifully maintained and the pros and members are truly hospitable and courteous. I have played on courts in SF and in Southern Marin and hate the cold weather and wind. Valid during open pool hours for 2024 season' I used it twice this week with no problems. The girl at the desk says it's not valid. She gets another teen and he says it's not valid. While I'm waiting through this -- the woman coming in says, she was angry about that - because they did it to her -- and then they wouldn't let her in because she didn't have ID and had to go back to her car ... it was not even busy. I don't begrudge the money -- but I won't go back. I'm only giving a 1 star to save others the time. Most of the time everyone's very nice. I feel there's some adult in back of the kids over managing or something.

Holding events like a children's birthday party as rock climbing activity leveled up to a just pizza place!!! My son was taking swimming lessons with Rebecca who is a wonderful teacher. Unfortunately there were many times we felt unwelcome do to the general managers rude comments. He was beyond rude and elitist. We felt unwelcome every single time we came to visit. I don't want to go into details, but it is sad how bad our experience was.

While I'm not a member, I have played many matches at this club over the years. And next to my…read moretennis club (Harbor Point), this is probably one of my favorite places to play in Marin. It's just a charming, off-the-beaten-path setting. Yet it's still close enough to downtown Mill Valley. The weather's always sunny. It never gets too windy. The courts are all well-maintained. The members are very Marin (but without the snooty attitude that you find at other clubs). They have a very cozy/casual clubhouse, complete with a full bar, kitchen, TV room, and ping pong table. It looks more like a camp clubhouse from the 70s. But that's kind of its charm. They have plenty of couches by the windows so you can watch matches on their two center courts while nursing a beer. Since it's a private club, they don't allow outside guests to purchase drinks (unless they're purchased by a member). I thought that was a bit strange. I even offered to pay cash, but they couldn't do it. However, for some reason, it was ok for me to pay by credit card (you figure that one out). That being said, the lady working the bar was very sweet and poured a tasty margarita. All in all, Mill Valley Tennis Club is a lovely addition to Marin County's recreational community, and I look forward to playing there again soon.

This is a great community park located near the town's community center, a school, along a lagoon…read moreand canals, and near the fwy, neighborhoods, and shops. Really an ideal location for a park! Plenty of parking whether you park in the lot or along the road. It gets quite busy as a number of kids extracurricular activities happen here on evenings and over the weekend. I like coming here to walk with our pup, as there's plenty of grass and space to sniff. Some other dogs we see are off leash, but most people we see are good about keeping their dogs on leash. There are plenty of trees along the park, and a cute path that leads to the neighborhood further up the street. Also, the grounds are kept quite clean, and I seldom see any litter on the ground. Definitely appreciate people keeping our local park clean!

Wow this is a gem! There's at least 3 play structures for all age groups up to 12 years old, plus a…read morepretty decent bouldering (rock climbing) wall, a tall swingset, a tire swing, a pretty good size sandbox with a rock feature in the middle, a medium size grassy area, and an easy-to-miss paved bike track for the tikes that circles half of the whole playground. Two tiny picnic tables are under a partly shaded canopy. Benches are dispersed throughout. When we went, there were ample porta-potties and portable hand-wash basins just outside the fences, and there are permanent bathrooms at the tennis courts nearby. Besides the fenced-in playground, there's a larger park with ample grassy areas, tennis courts, a baseball field, I think a soccer field, picnic tables with barbecue (BBQ) pits, and a small pond with a walking path around it. There's ample parking for cars and a couple of bike racks too. If you choose to give a thumbs-up or not, I hope you found my review helpful!
