This husband and wife team saved our front door on Christmas! We came back from vacation and discovered our French front door was not working properly. Mario and his wife took care of my door knob problem in 10 minutes. Fast , friendly, quality work and a reasonable price is what I experienced with them. I lost a key for my storage room and could not access because of the locked door knob. I called Mario and set a time to fix the problem. These constant rains have rusted out my gate lock so I had them come out and he took care of everything within mins.

We had Mario come change our lock when our keys began to stick in the lock about 2 months ago. Then, a couple of days ago, we noticed that the lock had rusted considerably and we had a very difficult time getting our key to engage fully to unlock the gate. So, we called Mario back thinking that as any good business person, he would guarantee his work. He told us that the lock had rusted because of the rain and charged us $80 to fix it. I am a son of Asian parents whose home in S.F. was ransacked during the daytime while they were out on an short errand. Needless to say, we were gutted to find the home we grew up in and worked so hard for rummaged and infiltrated by thieves. Our home consisted of a front door gate and an upper door entry door. The thieves made short work of the weakest security measure, our front gate. You see, we had a sense of false security because it was a metal gate...but the locking mechanism was at least 60 years old and was one of those electric button latch releases which are common in these old S.F. homes. It takes no work at all to penetrate this gate for anyone with a metal bar, in hindsight. We made many calls to construction, door, gate contractors and NO ONE wanted to help us. We were considered too small a job for them. With much desperation I saw Mario's ad on Yelp and gave them a call. The call was picked up fast and I got to speak to Mario quickly and scheduled an appointment for the same day. Mario was on time. He and his wife worked diligently and respectfully of our situation with the proper COVID protocols to provide not only a solution but for my family- our first respite and relief in a traumatic time. I was looking for a locksmith to program a valet key and an additional key fob for my Toyota Tacoma, as Toyota stopped supplying valet keys with new vehicles a while back. I needed additional keys, as many people in the family borrow our truck and there were also instances where we had to move the car in an emergency and there was no key available. It's always better to have a spares for these situations. I used Mario's service before back when he had a physical shop on Mission St, but realized he transitioned to a mobile locksmith service during the pandemic after he provided me with another address. I ordered 2 keys online and provided them to Mario to program. Upon handing it to him to check and inspect, he was able to quickly cut the keys and program the keys within 30 minutes. Mario was also able to communicate with us in Cantonese, which was a plus with my parents were around. Mario is very knowledgeable for the work he does and I would highly recommend his locksmith services. In the past, his wife helped me many times with copying my keys at their shop, as the house keys I previously copied at Lowe's didn't work. I've never had issues with Mario's keys and always worked like the originals. My advice is avoid car dealerships or hardware stores for keys, as they are not in the business to make keys.
