Even though he didn't know exactly what the previous locksmith had done to my car, he took the time to figure it out and made me a working pair of keys for my 2010 Corolla -- both ignition and doors -- in under an hour. I would not recommend this business for a car key duplication. The technician was not able to create a duplicate key that locked all four car doors (only three car doors), and then still tried to sell the non-functional duplicated key to me. In addition, he broke the driver's side door locking function. Our existing key that used to fully work now only locks three out of the four car doors. The only way to lock the driver's side door is to turn the switch on the car door to lock it from the inside before leaving the car. I will have to pay far more money now to fix the broken driver's side door locking function in addition to duplicating the car key, which was my initial request. read more

I used Yelp's chat tool to find someone who could help me with a doorknob replacement (the door wasn't automatically latching because the spring wasn't working). I was connected with Alex and got on the phone to describe the issue. He happened to be nearby and was over at my place within 30 minutes. My door was pretty old-school so he ran back to his place to get the right mechanism to fit my door, and was back almost immediately, and another 30 minutes later I had a new, good-looking, and (most-importantly) functional / auto-latching doorknob. Don't recommend to hire this person He came on time and responded fast. However I only asked to replace two basic locks as I lost keys. I was not in urgency as o had access to my garage. He offered also to change the entire lock for a better one and agreed my old ones were trully cheap. My huge mistake that I own is I didn't ask him how much as I thought he was going to be reasonable. I had multiple vendors at the same time fixing my home and I didn't ask. It took him 45min to remove old ones from main door and install new one. He installed Schlage key lock set, the handle and lock and the upper key lock set are available for 60$ on Amazon (is not my fist lock) and he did change the cylinders to new one. Is not my first lock I am very experienced with home repairs For this he charged me originally 700$ and then down to 650$ after I told him he should had ask me first if this was going to be that price. Sure I own my mistake of not asking but don't trust the ethics of this vendor at all, hence I don't recommend this vendor. He did install it properly. Lock a price for the install when you hire a vendor and if you want to install a new system buy it yourself. read more

Trust Alex! I lost my wallet and key and needed my lock changed immediately since my drivers license had my address on it. He came in a half hour, and worked with me to find a lock that matched by brass handle. He also fixed the handle which was loose, and gave me advice on the locked box that I kept my spare key in.
