He gets defensive any time you question a price or suggest getting another opinion. He quoted my daughter nearly $2,000 for a few repairs. When I mentioned going to another shop, he was clearly unhappy. Well, we did and not just one, but two different mechanics looked at the car. Both shops did more work for about half the price he tried to charge. Customers keep your business running, so some honesty and respect would go a long way. There are plenty of other mechanics out there, and we'll be taking our cars to Twiggs from now on they've always been polite, fair, and transparent.

At times, there have been multiple repairs that have to be made, and they are amazing at prioritizing the order of repairs for us. The shop itself is no frills, efficient, and we have had no issues at all with customer service. We have always left feeling like we got a great deal on parts and work performed. They have a cool computer system that will list the work needed, and you can accept or decline through text. Additionally, the repairs have always been completed in the specified time frame, and as far as I can tell, it is pretty quick. We have had cars inspected there as well. If you are looking for a fair, reasonably priced mechanic, give Hassells a try!

I am a glutton for punishment! Have had issues over the years with service center not fixing things…read moreright the 1st time. Telling me there fixed and vehicle still doing the same thing. Another thing: Claiming they couldn't do oil change on my 2-year contract because I didn't have enough miles to warrant one. I made an appointment 2 days ago and are told I should get an oil change every 12 months! Which is it? My vehicle is now 4 1/2 years old! I make an appointment for today for an oil change. After 50 minutes I go to check on progress. The manager Adam tells me its up on a lift behind another truck I can't see. I go out to look at new vehicles and there is my truck still sitting there untouched. I go back in and he tells me the mechanic that was supposed to do it never came back from lunch, I guess! Does the manager not know what's going on in his own garage. He doesn't notice no one has picked up the work order??? The disorganization repeatedly in this service department is crazy! Final straw for me. Not a big review person but same poor service different day. Go somewhere else!

On multiple occasions my family member has raved about this gas station from its full service option, to affordable gas prices, and customer service centered employees. This family members car had a tire pressure sensor on recently. They visited THREE nearby auto service centers and each turned them away. This shop/station was the only one that took a look at the sensor and remedy the issue within five minutes. Knowing that my family member was treated so nicely truly warms the cockles of my heart. So please consider giving this station/shop business and make sure to tip them well this holiday season.
