Mario was very nice, and is so honest and down to earth when he is talking with you. Mario does not try to sell you anything extra, he is just very honest and upfront with you. His prices were a lot cheaper than 8 other Upholstery stores I contacted. He has Great Upholstery Skills as he suggested several different ways to re-stuff my cushions with new foam, and dacron fabric. He gave me a time of how long the job would take, and finished the job exactly on time. The cushions looked and felt very good as they fit right back into my couch nicely. Mario's upholstery is a complete joke. I spent 3 moths trying to get him to do a canopy for me and all he had was excuses. Then when I tried to get my $200 deposit back he refused to refund it. There are a lot of great upholstery guys out there I would avoid this guy at all costs. BTW- we wanted to charge me $1500.00 for a 12'x12' canopy. I got it done elsewhere in rancho San Diego for $400. read more

Mario Upholstery reupholstered two Lazyboy chairs for us and did an AMAZING job. The fabric was difficult - with wiggly stripes to match. Not only did the chairs match each other exactly, the lines matched throughout the each chair. He even made sure the covers for the chair arms and head rest matched the lines. I wish I could post a picture - really great work - on time and on budget. He also makes ottoman's, and built and upholstered a storage ottoman that is beautiful.
